Hey everyone!!! I know I’m super early as I’m 12dpo but I’ve finally had my “pregnant” on clear blue digital and I’m over the moon. I’ve been trying to tell myself not to get tooo excited as I had a chemical pregnancy in March but, too late haha. I’m so excited and happy! May as well be positive about it..

Anyone else just found out they’re pregnant and due in February 2021? The NHS due date calculator puts at the 3rd February. What’s your symptoms been so far ?

Xx

OMG look at me messing everything up :/ sorry @MammaBear18!!
@OldMaBear I'm really sorry to hear your awful news

@Peach1204 ok thank you! I feel like I've been on a rollercoaster this morning! I have no idea why, perhaps something to do with where they're seeing patients because of covid-19?

Does it sink in ladies before you've been to GP or are you on tender hooks up until then?!

Runnergirl1 · 21/06/2020 09:43

@OldMaBear so sorry to hear this. Sending lots of love and hugs your way x

Poppyismyfavourite · 21/06/2020 09:43

Hi @Rocky89 and @Peach1204!! Nice to see you here Smile

Poppyismyfavourite · 21/06/2020 09:44

@Peach1204 mine told me they are doing bloods at the 12 week scan (the booking in is over the phone)

Peach1204 · 21/06/2020 09:49

@Rocky89 what was your partners reaction? Xxx

@Poppyismyfavourite thank you. Ahh ok, I'm Midlands based so wonder if that's just their procedure? Xxx

MammaBear18 · 21/06/2020 09:53

@Rocky89 I'm not even having a blood test or a GP visit! Here you self refer once you're 6 weeks and they book your booking appointment. I wish we had though because it would make me feel a little bit more real!

Hush32 · 21/06/2020 10:33

Hi everyone!

I’ve been following this thread for a while but been too scared to post as I don’t want to jinx things! I’d love to join the list/Facebook group/WhatsApp but not sure how to do most of those things lol.

I’m 32, due date according to NHS website is 23rd Feb and it will be our first baby.

It’s been so reassuring reading all your posts and knowing everyone is in the same boat!

Sending positive vibes to you all xx

Peach1204 · 21/06/2020 10:38

@Hush32 congratulations! 🥳 xxx

MorgenMuffel · 21/06/2020 11:17

@OldMaBear so sorry to hear your news. Sending you love and hugs x

MorgenMuffel · 21/06/2020 11:23

Welcome to the newbies!

I have been getting less symptoms the past few days which had been worrying me. Just want it to be Tuesday and have my viability scan. Did another test yesterday at 6+5 and got a good strong positive (on the right, one on the left was 4 weeks), but doesn't rule out ectopic. Agggh the waiting is horrible!

Hopefully this time next year we will all be celebrating fathers day x

Hi @Poppyismyfavourite!!!

@Peach1204 his reaction was telling me off for goats cheese and cider yesterday haha. Both thrilled to bits!!
I'm also midlands based so I'll see what they tell me to do tomorrow when I phone!

@morgenmuffel Tuesday will be here before you know it!!

PoppyN1 · 21/06/2020 13:18

Hi all, may I please join in (plus the Facebook group if possible if it’s private?) I’ve been catching up on everything and can’t believe how busy Feb 2021 is looking.

I’m 28 (also living in Midlands which also seems popular on this thread!). First pregnancy; I’d estimate myself to be around 4+5 weeks and due date coming out as 23rd February :)

I found out on Monday (only believed it on about the 10th positive pregnancy test...), and have been following the thread but am so conscious of how early it is so have been hesitant to join. I’ve had really sore boobs (the reason I did the test), mild lower abdominal cramping, really thirsty and the tiredness has been real...

Wishing the best for everyone, and I’m so sorry to hear about those who have had bad news - sending all the good thoughts for next time!

cekaelta · 21/06/2020 13:38

Hi all, hope you are having good Sundays. I'm feeling a bit weird - various mild aches & cramps & boobs starting to hurt. Still nervous everytime I go to the toilet in case there's blood like many of you.

Went for a short run today - everything I've read says to try to keep your current exercise levels for now (I've been running casually for 1.5yrs since doing couch 2 5k). Did a 15min steady run but felt so preoccupied with worrying about it & it felt really hard! Any other runners out there? How are you finding it?

P.s. would also happily join a Facebook grp.

Hush32 · 21/06/2020 13:42

Ah @PoppyN1 we’re due date twins ☺️ I’ve had really similar symptoms plus a bit of lower back ache and mild nausea.

Are many people booking early scans for reassurance? Think I might, can’t see me waiting until 12 weeks!

Rosejx · 21/06/2020 13:52

I’ve booked an early scan for two weeks today, I’ve waited so long for this baby and just want some reassurance. I haven’t told many people but the ones who know are so unbelievably excited because of how special this baby will be xx

I’m having the strangest symptoms this time around, nothing like with my two previous (girl and boy, but it’s been nearly 13 years since I was pregnant) xx

PoppyN1 · 21/06/2020 13:54

@Hush32 Yay - how exciting :) Yeah, I’ve been surprised by how many symptoms I’ve noticed at this stage!

And I’ll probably go for an early scan around 7 weeks (I’m very impatient! Haha).

Sunshine1984 · 21/06/2020 13:55

I think cramps are very normal I’m early pregnancy. I had them quite a lot with my first and all was fine :)

Will definitely be booking an early scan. Did it at 8 weeks with my DD so will do the same but even that feels a long way away!

Songsofwhales · 21/06/2020 15:54

@cekaelta I was a runner before having my daughter, but struggled to get back into it. Finally managed and was at around week 7 of C25K when I found out I was pregnant this time! I've been for a couple of runs post-pregnancy test, but was finding them seriously hard work due to lack of energy. It was also when the weather was really hot and I was massively overheating/getting dizzy etc. I've read all the things about not having hot baths etc in the during the first trimester, and I panicked that overheating when running might cause problems so freaked out and stopped all together. Possibly an overreaction, but nausea/vomiting are now getting in the way even if I wanted to go out. Typical really! We did managed to get hold of a cheap secondhand treadmill which is currently in the garage.. hoping to get my hands on some anti sickness pills tomorrow and then maybe I'll be able to try some short runs/power walks on that!

Lottie180992 · 21/06/2020 16:19

Hello ladies,

I had my BFP on Wednesday after having a blighted ovum in January when I thought I was 11 weeks pregnant.
Fingers crossed that everything goes well this time, according to due date calculator I have a due date of 23/02/21
Good luck to all you mamas going through the journey x

Peach1204 · 21/06/2020 17:21

@Rocky89 Hahahah I'm sure it will all be ok. We had a socially distant get together today and my SIL made a platter of things that should be avoided so I made sure I took food too. Xxx

@PoppyN1 @Lottie180992 congratulations! Xxx

@Hush32 we are having an early scan. It will be around the 8 week mark.

Here was this mornings announcement! Glad I don't have to keep it quiet from DH anymore!

My husband told me when he woke up that he hopes we'll have a kind baby that will remember Father's Day next year 😂

I had actually bought a card 'from bump' which I gave to him at breakfast and he cried. Bless.

Today I've felt probably the worst I have since my BFP. Woke up with a hungover feeling, and my tummy feels tender like it does after you are sick (but I haven't been sick). Nausea has been kept at bay grazing on starburst today, but when I'm not eating I feel awful. And I really need to stop eating! And the heartburn! Sorry for the moan, a problem shared and all that.

SundayChilling · 21/06/2020 18:47

I’ve also had nausea for past few days - just feels like one long hangover! Just feel that I’ve got no energy, normally I’m quite active, I haven’t exercised in over a week and barely moved - anyone else like this?! Doesn’t help that I’m on furlough, but very grateful I don’t have to do my usual commute into London!

lucyinthe · 21/06/2020 19:09

Aww @Peach1204 love your announcement!

@SundayChilling @IamC I have the hangover feeling, so tired, feel really scatty and getting waves of sickness. Although haven't been sick yet so not all bad.

Has anyone had an ectopic or know much about it? I don't know if I'm just being paranoid because of my damaged tube but this afternoon I've been getting some really mild pains on one side. I've had mild cramps on and off (both sides and lower back) for the last week but read that's normal so wasn't worried. But now I've had a few twinges just on one side my minds going into overdrive. Think I will phone the doctor in the morning if I can still feel it, but any advice or experience would really help? X

Peach1204 · 21/06/2020 19:13

@lucyinthe thank you! I have been getting cramps and heard that's a sign in early pregnancy. I don't know how you'd tell the difference between what's good and what isn't though...xxx

Hush32 · 21/06/2020 19:29

@Peach1204 that’s so cute, he must have loved it 😊

@Sunshine1984 @PoppyN1 I’ve booked an early scan now after reading the messages here and in the Facebook group! Will be 7 weeks so just less than 3 weeks to wait, can’t come quick enough!

@lucyinthe I don’t know other than what I’ve googled (with my own worries about cramps!) and seemed to be only a concern if it’s 1 sided cramps plus other symptoms like bleeding, shoulder pain etc. Lots of stuff says cramps are totally normal, even if just on 1 side.
