Hey everyone!!! I know I’m super early as I’m 12dpo but I’ve finally had my “pregnant” on clear blue digital and I’m over the moon. I’ve been trying to tell myself not to get tooo excited as I had a chemical pregnancy in March but, too late haha. I’m so excited and happy! May as well be positive about it..

Anyone else just found out they’re pregnant and due in February 2021? The NHS due date calculator puts at the 3rd February. What’s your symptoms been so far ?

Xx

Today I am struggling.
On my first pregnancy I had no symptoms, absolutely none. I didn't even find out until late on. This time around I don't have symptoms but I feel rubbish. I don't want food but I don't feel sick. I get extremely bloated after food no matter how small my meal is. The muscle pain is starting back up again - I went a whole few days without it but now my c section scar is really pulling. The midwife said it's scar tissue that's probably causing it but it doesn't half hurt - and my pain threshold is quite high! I just feel really 'blergh' for lack of a better phrase and super heavy down there if you get me. I've miscarried before on my first and I am on edge! I keep correcting my poor husband when he talks about it by saying 'if this goes ahead' - how bad is that!!! I've heard the odds of miscarriage decrease after 6 weeks but honestly I'm a wreck

Peach1204 · 19/06/2020 21:43

@Sunshine1984 I would like to join please.
How do I DM you? Xxx

@DanielleS25 so with you on the bloating. Feel really uncomfortable and gassy. Having a couple of pains and hoping it's related to that. Xxx

teachmehow14 · 19/06/2020 22:12

Congratulations on your BFPs everyone

Songsofwhales · 19/06/2020 22:17

@DanielleS25 Definitely with you on the bloating. I feel uncomfortably full as soon as I eat anything. But need to eat to try and keep the nausea at bay, or to make sure I've got something in my stomach when I am actually sick (sorry, TMI!) I don't remember getting this feeling until much later on when I was pregnant with my first.
I also had some weird twinges around my c section scar today too. It was really sudden and went away quickly so I just presumed I moved/stretched in a weird way. Hope it wasn't a sign of pain to come!

RiverRoo · 19/06/2020 22:33

@Sunshine1984 how do I do a PM in Mumsnet?

lucyinthe · 19/06/2020 22:40

Hi Ladies, id like to join if that's ok? If all goes well I'll be due 20/02/21.

Got my BFP on Tuesday after 3 years of trying, 1 failed round of IVF just before Xmas and just as I was due to start meds to get our frozen embryo put back, I find out we've managed to do it naturally! I'm still in complete shock.

I can't completely relax yet as I only have one tube, and that tube is damaged, I was told last year that the chances of conceiving naturally were very slim but if it did happen there's a high chance of ectopic. So we're extremely nervous. I've booked an early scan for next Saturday when il be 6 weeks, tried to get one earlier but every private place near us is booked up and the doctors/midwife have said no need to scan unless I have any symptoms.

Sorry for the long story but would love to join in for some reassurance from you all! Symptoms I've had so far is waking up at 4/5am and not getting back to sleep 😴 very mild cramping and lower and pain, and slight sicky feeling on and off most days.

Hope you're all well xx

RiverRoo · 19/06/2020 22:45

All good @Sunshine1984 I figured out that you can't PM from the app so I used the browser to message you.

Peach1204 · 19/06/2020 22:47

MammaBear18 · 20/06/2020 01:41

@Stephanie3110 how lovely to see heartbeat! Makes me want to move my 8 week scan forward 😂

Rainbow5SF · 20/06/2020 08:46

@lucyinthe congratulations. I do feel pregnant naturally after losing my son 2 years ago. We've tried ever since and had several rounds of ivf!! And now... I'm here! Terrified of course. So please for your x

Alongstruggle1 · 20/06/2020 11:28

Just wondered what prenatal vitamins everyone was taking? I've read about not needing vitamin A - is it in any of the ones you're all taking? In the U.S. they all seem to have vitamin A at 50% of the daily recommendation.

OnNaturesCourse · 20/06/2020 11:39

Hi Ladies

Sorry I've been a bit absent on here, I'm going to read through and catch up with the messages - hope everyone is good and growing well.

Update from me - I'm 6+1 now and my due date has been roughly worked out at 12.2.21 now so 2 days later than I first thought. I finally contacted the midwife yesterday and got booked in and all my appointments sorted, also booked a private scan (I told myself I'd sort everything once I got to 6 weeks as I was too scared to jinx anything!) So now I'm counting down the days until the scan, and hoping beany is doing OK in there.

Anyone had a private scan at 7 weeks? I had one at 9 weeks with my first but I can't wait that long this time after my bleeding and scares.

Thegirlhasnoname · 20/06/2020 13:03

@Alongstruggle1 I’m taking the Sevens Seas pregnancy all in one multivitamin. It’s got ginger extract included which doesn’t seem like it can hurt to take. Last time around I just took the boots own brand folid acid and vitamin D one but the Seven Seas one was the only one in stock where I live when I needed to buy some!

cekaelta · 20/06/2020 13:06

Hi all, please may I tentatively join? I got a positive cheapy one step test on Thurs which I didn't believe at all but an undeniable cb digi 2-3 weeks yesterday.

Very much still in shock here as my cycle seemed completely messed up & partner works away half the week and I was sure we had totally missed the window. And therefore not sure on due date - LMP gives 18th Feb but I'm sure I ovulated late this time so who knows.

This is first pregnancy for us. I'm 34 & OH is 40. Feeling pretty nervous about getting too excited yet and have no idea what we are doing. I had a few days last week of suddenly being very tired around 4pm and have had mild cramping for about a week but that's it so far.

Justkeepswimming91 · 20/06/2020 13:24

Hi

Can I join too? Got my positive last Wednesday and I think I am 3 + 4. First baby. I am 28 and my DH is 32.

Is a anyone else just feeling really anxious? I dont think I really have any symptoms: bit tired and maybe a bit nauseous (but that could just be in my head)

I cant stop testing even though I know it wont help.

xsarahxs · 20/06/2020 13:31

I’m currently 8+2 with my first baby (naturally might I add!), following a chemical pregnancy almost 2 years ago and a failed IVF in February.
I had pretty bad cramping on my left at 5+3 and called NHS111, they got a doctor to call me back, and as I was really nervous given what I’ve been through, he advised me to pop into my local hospital’s “early pregnancy unit” to rule out ectopic, went in, they done a few touch tests on the day (it was 8pm), and told me to come back for a scan after 4 days.
Had a transvaginal scan at 6 weeks, saw baby in the right place and a heartbeat Grin

Cause of COVID delays though, I won’t be having my midwife booking appointment until 9+1 (and over the phone) and dating scan will be when I’m 13 weeks. So I’ve booked a private scan at 10 weeks, cause I cannot wait another 5 weeks before telling family!

BeanieBabyLovex · 20/06/2020 14:04

Does anyone ever feel like a pushing sensation down below I'm 5 weeks and randomly feel pressure like somethings going to come out
I'm not sure if I'm even explaining that correctly lol

recreationalcalpol · 20/06/2020 14:08

Tentatively joining as I’ve just had a positive test - EDD 25/2/21 🤞🤞

This has come as a lovely surprise as we were planning a September 2021 baby!

Feeling a bit sick - didn’t feel unwell at all last pregnancy and had a boy, so wondering if this will turn out to be a girl

Farmer20 · 20/06/2020 15:38

Hey new to the group!! I got my bfp last week after 6 months of trying..very excited to finally have a positive but trying not to get tooo excited as it is early days. This is my first. Will be due 25/2/21 all being well 🤞
@recreationalcalpol I am also feeling waves of nausea too

MammaBear18 · 20/06/2020 16:19
