Hey everyone!!! I know I’m super early as I’m 12dpo but I’ve finally had my “pregnant” on clear blue digital and I’m over the moon. I’ve been trying to tell myself not to get tooo excited as I had a chemical pregnancy in March but, too late haha. I’m so excited and happy! May as well be positive about it..

Anyone else just found out they’re pregnant and due in February 2021? The NHS due date calculator puts at the 3rd February. What’s your symptoms been so far ?

Xx

Any top tips for natural / home made nausea remedies would be much appreciated!

RiverRoo · 15/06/2020 22:28

I hear you @Songsofwhales ! I have a 2.5 year old and the juggle of looking after him while feeling sooo nauseous with the occasional dry reaching/vomiting into the toilet is ridiculously hard!! I have no advice just know you are not alone and it sucks!!

Songsofwhales · 15/06/2020 23:07

@RiverRoo I'm not gonna lie, it feels good to know someone else is suffering too! Wink

Anyone else also finding they're peeing ALL the time?! I was exhausted so came to bed at about 8.30.... but I keep needing to pee so can't get to sleep!

EmBrum · 16/06/2020 00:17

@Songsofwhales yes that is definitely me! I am taking hours to go off to sleep even though exhausted- peeing a lot, anxiety and restless leg syndrome :/

Had a bad day of nausea today - glad I'm on lots of supplements as my diet was largely plain toast until I felt a tad better this evening.

I'm 6 weeks atm and today booked an early scan for 8 weeks at Solihull MUMS- we have to wait in car until appointment is called but my husband can come in :) these two weeks are going to drag until then - I miscarried last time at 7 ish weeks. Fingers crossed for better for us all.

Congrats and welcome to the new bfps x

@lydiangel83 With my first daughter I was prescribed anti sickness meds (cyclozine) at around 9 weeks after really really struggling for weeks. It was the best thing I ever did. I was really worried about taking them but she is absolutely perfect. I remember the doctors saying “if they’re good enough for Kate Middleton...” Smile xx

lydiangel83 · 16/06/2020 06:50

@RiverRoo @Songsofwhales also have a 2.5 yo to look after and suffering a lot with nausea. Put on loads of weight as eating carbs is only thing that vaguely helps!

lydiangel83 · 16/06/2020 06:51

@Emma476 @EmBrum yes got those tablets yesterday after reading about them on here! Took 2 yesterday but still up in the night for hours as feel so sick. It's like torture! I don't remember feeling this sick constantly last time, I remember waves of nausea and actually being sick but I think this constant feeling is worse! And not being able to sleep because of it is no fun at all! I guess at least it means bean is busy in there!? :)

BeanieBabyLovex · 16/06/2020 07:26

Hello!
I'm 27 EDD 20/02/2021 first pregnancy, so nervous but so excited, trying to not google every ache or pain. Booked in for a private scan on 4th July when I'll be 7 weeks+1 so I found out very early.

What's everyone feeling right now?
I am having dull cramps completely different to AF
Sore boobs but not so much sensitive nipples
Waking up early and not getting to sleep easily
Nausea of the evening although I've not been sick yet

Good luck everyone xxx

Rainbow5SF · 16/06/2020 07:30

I tested on a clearblue Digital this morning. A week ago I got my BFP & today I got -3+ weeks so feel a little more relieved as by ovulation I should be 5 weeks tomorrow.

Anyone been using the weeks indicator and getting their hcg bloods? X

RubyFrench91 · 16/06/2020 09:27

@Rainbow5SF I am planning to do my final test on a CB digi on Saturday, so that it is still on the screen when I tell fiancé on Sunday! Hoping for the 3+ weeks to flash up. I’ve tested twice in between 4 weeks and now (5+6 today) and the line has got darker so fingers crossed it shows 3 weeks!)

I have literally ZERO symptoms apart from being tired in the evenings, but then staying awake until late googling things that I can’t when fiancé is around haha. Anyone else symptomless?

SpunBodgeSquarepants · 16/06/2020 09:42

I'm the opposite - did a clear blue weeks indicator this morning and got 2-3 when by my estimations I should be 5+1 today. Now I'm convinced I'm going through my 3rd MMC :(
I don't think I can cope with this again

MammaBear18 · 16/06/2020 10:10

@RubyFrench91 I'm pretty much symptomless apart from tiredness. With DS it drove me crazy - I had no sickness until 7 weeks and then only been sick less than 10 times in the while pregnancy. I'm a bit calmer this time round but I still struggle with the lack of symptoms 😔

@SpunBodgeSquarepants I have all my fingers crossed for you, these tests can be so temperamental Flowers

RubyFrench91 · 16/06/2020 10:44

@mammabear18 good to know! I don’t know why I’m worried, I had NOTHING with my daughter. I wasn’t sick a single time (not bragging! But would be reassuring haha) so don’t know why this time would be different.

@SpunBodgeSquarepants my fingers are crossed for you. The weeks indicator is weeks past conception though, is there a chance you ovulated later than thought? 3 weeks past conception = 5 weeks pregnant x

Vie8126 · 16/06/2020 11:10

Although I'm only 4w3 days today I called my Dr's surgery to find out the process... Been 12 years since I last went through this so no clue how things are done now! I just need to pop into surgery and get a bounty pack which has all the info in so assuming it's self referral to hospital.

Symptoms wise I'm peeing all the time, feel a little nauseated but not too bad can still eat, am tired in the evenings then waking up at 4am and sore sore boobs!

I haven't done a weeks indicator test but tempted to get one I got my bfp on a digital a few days before AF was due.

Tempted to book an early scan also am thinking of just past 6 weeks mark as I am impatient but thinking the longer I can hold off the better!

SpunBodgeSquarepants · 16/06/2020 11:19

@Rubyfrench91 Yes actually, I could have ovulated on the Tuesday which would make me 5 weeks today, which wouldn't worry me too much. I have ordered another 2 pack of clearblue digis to arrive tomorrow and I'm going to do another one on Friday by which time it should definitely say 3+. Its absolutely mad the money I have spent on pregnancy tests in the last ten days!! 😂

Rainbow5SF · 16/06/2020 11:52

@RubyFrench91 I can't believe you can keep it a secret!!! That's brilliant. I have zero symptoms!!

Rainbow5SF · 16/06/2020 11:54

@SpunBodgeSquarepants is that from your period date or ovulation?
I got a positive OPK 3 weeks ago so I didn't expect a 3+. I was convinced my levels were dropping!!
I lost my son 2 years ago so I understand the anxiety. I'm sorry if this triggered you. These tests are not always accurate.

I've done about 30/40 tests this week x

SpunBodgeSquarepants · 16/06/2020 11:59

@Rainbow5SF I'm so sorry for your loss. It really takes away the joy of any subsequent pregnancies doesnt it? I feel sick with anxiety all the time. I feel like this is my last chance, I can't take the heartache of another loss if this one doesn't make it. So I think I ovulated exactly 3 weeks ago today, making me 5 weeks. If that is the case, then a 2-3 weeks on the clearblue isn't so bad. I'll wait till Friday when I think I will be 5+3 to try another digi.

RubyFrench91 · 16/06/2020 12:57

@SpunBodgeSquarepants don’t forget that an egg can take 10 days to implant after ovulation, so you may not have been officially pregnant until 11 days ago!

@Rainbow5SF I know o have surprised myself! The longer it’s gone on the easier it has been lol

Rainbow5SF · 16/06/2020 13:14

@SpunBodgeSquarepants that's totally ok!! Couple of days and it will be there!

I'm petrified. Our boy was born prematurely and died. It's taken 22 months to get a BFP and I'm now 40!!!

One minute I'm ok and the next I can't breathe with the anxiety.

Massive hugs to you xx

sshl · 16/06/2020 13:23

Hi everyone

Lovely to see all the updates.

My nausea seems to have subsided but my boobs are so sore and heavy! I cannot imagine what they will be like in the coming weeks!

I am feeling pretty good today after a terrible day yesterday of high anxiousness about if it will all be ok, wanting to be excited but then always in the back of my mind worrying it won't be etc, it feels like such a long wait (I'm now 5 + 3 days) now until the midwife appt & scan and I don't know when they are yet as haven't heard from the hospital as yet. I thought about a private scan but the thought of that after reading online makes me more stressed to chose the right place etc. Anyway today I feel much better so I hope that continues. I just need to go with it.

Anyway after that long mind dump, I wondered if anyone has experienced/experiencing a numbness/tingling in the leg? I had it slightly the last few days but today its pretty strong. I have looked online and it seems I could be a nerve being pushed by movement in the body although that seems crazy so early on. I will see how it goes today and call the Drs tomorrow if needs be. Just wondered if anyone has ever had this? x

IamC · 16/06/2020 14:16

@sshl putting my hands up for numbness. I'll often wake up with a dead leg or numb hand. Assumed it's normal.

Shrewsdoodle · 16/06/2020 14:42

I was 2-3 weeks on a digital test this morning so 4-5 weeks by "official" count, yay! No real symptoms yet except a slightly fuzzy head and being very gassy. Trying to have conversations on the phone while my stomach snarls in the background is awkward 😬.

I'm weighing up booking in for an earlier private scan this time so if anything's wrong I can ask about medical management sooner!

Shrewsdoodle · 16/06/2020 14:45

@sshl I had numbness last time, frequent dead arm in bed. Probably worth getting checked out if you're unsure or worried though. I'm sure it'll be nothing to worry about 🙂

sshl · 16/06/2020 15:04

@IamC that’s a relief to see someone else has it haha. I read online that if it’s because it’s of a change in body shape causing a nerve to be pushed on it can last the whole pregnancy!! Yikes!

@sherwsdoodle I can’t tag you for some reason? Anyway that’s reassuring to hear. It’s hard to know wether it’s something or it’s not really. Think I’ll see how it goes this week cx
