Hey everyone!!! I know I’m super early as I’m 12dpo but I’ve finally had my “pregnant” on clear blue digital and I’m over the moon. I’ve been trying to tell myself not to get tooo excited as I had a chemical pregnancy in March but, too late haha. I’m so excited and happy! May as well be positive about it..

Anyone else just found out they’re pregnant and due in February 2021? The NHS due date calculator puts at the 3rd February. What’s your symptoms been so far ?

Xx

@Lovesamash hey! Congrats! The day after valentines, what a lovely due date. My boobs have started hurting as well, may have to start buying the comfy maternity bras already! Hard to buy online though as every company's sizing is different

So sorry for your loss, we lost one last year, it's heartbreaking. Sending hugs @Feelinghopeful4 Thanks xx

Emma476 · 06/06/2020 13:21

@Feelinghopeful4 I’m so sorry and sending you a big hug 😔

Has anybody done a clear blue digital that says how many weeks? Going from my dates (last period 30th April) I had estimated due date as 4th Feb so that makes me just over 5 weeks but just done a clear blue test indicates I’m between 4 and 5 weeks? Maybe I ovulated later than I thought 🤔 xx

inahaze · 06/06/2020 13:30

@TheFoz i hope you can get some answers soon, 3 miscarriages in a year is such a lot for you to go through xxx

Feelinghopeful4 · 06/06/2020 13:55

Thanks everyone for your kind words of support, such a horrible thing to go through but I am feeling hopeful and positive for the future. Best of luck with your pregnancies, such an exciting time!

Lovesamash · 06/06/2020 15:35

@Harper04 Thank you! Awwww mine are swelling by the day, and fun bags they are not. I usually go to M&S but hate spending on something only use a short time. Primark would be good to open soon 🤦🏼‍♀️ Xx

howlatthetrees · 06/06/2020 16:41

I’m so sorry @TheFozFlowers

I’ve had lots of sickness today. I never really got it with my others. I’m going to see about an early scan!. Does anyone know how the booking appointments work now? Are they over the phone now?.

dueFeb2021 · 06/06/2020 17:27

@howlatthetrees I rang my GP and they told me to ring the community midwife team. A couple of days after they rang me back just to take my details and then they said they will do the initial appointment over the phone in about four weeks. I've booked an early scan too xxx

howlatthetrees · 06/06/2020 17:55

Thank you @dueFeb2021, I will call my Gp up. I’ve been a complete scatterbrain and forgot to actually let my GP know I’m pregnant😂

lydiangel83 · 06/06/2020 18:17

@thefoz I'm so sorry for your loss :(

lydiangel83 · 06/06/2020 18:18

I called GP a week last Friday and still not heart from midwives - not sure how long it usually takes and can't remember from last time. Felt rubbish all day almost like hungover and constantly hungry - eating is only thing that makes me feel better! Been to try and buy some healthier snacks but not feeling like them - cakes and choc wins every time!

Harper04 · 06/06/2020 19:23

@Lovesamash I actually can’t wait for primark to open 😍 But for the time being I’ll have a little look on next or M&S, my bra today was quite snug 😂

@TheFoz I’m so sorry for your loss, stay positive and give yourself some love FlowersFlowersCake

Im 4 plus 3, i haven’t called my GP yet, I was thinking of waiting until I’m 7 weeks... but may call them on Monday if others have already.

Is anyone else a teacher on here?

I’m not sure what to do about my work situation. I really don’t want to say anything to the head yet, but I’m due in next week and the unions are advising against it due to the government’s advice? Is anyone else in a similar situation?

Stephanie3110 · 06/06/2020 22:20

@lydiangel83 I literally can not stop eating too. I made myself a birthday cake earlier, just because I NEEDED it CakeGrin

lydiangel83 · 06/06/2020 22:30

This is really silly question especially as this is second baby but is number of weeks gestation cslculated from day of conception or first day of last period?

lydiangel83 · 06/06/2020 22:32

@Stephanie3110 good work! I made white choc and raspberry cookies!

Lovesamash · 06/06/2020 22:38

I work with children but not a teacher, similar situation with work as I’m due back soon. I haven’t even looked at what guidelines are suggesting for being pregnant and COVID

Emma476 · 07/06/2020 04:11

@Stephanie3110. Sooo it’s 4 in the morning and I’m awake. Think I might have pregnancy insomnia 🙈 I’m also a teacher, I’m in primary Year 1 so expected back in on Monday. I don’t feel ready to tell anyone yet and the NHS guidelines suggest if your in your third trimester that’s when you need to stay at home. So tricky though isn’t it. I do feel anxious about going back...I wonder if my head will be cross with me when I tell her!

lydiangel83 · 07/06/2020 07:13

@Emma476 pregnancy insomnia sucks so much! I had it last time and has totally started again, haven't had a good nights sleep all week and am so tired! It's like torture isn't it!?

IamC · 07/06/2020 07:25

Morning everyone. I'm usually a champion sleeper but have been waking up early too, yesterday was 430am Confused in other news, I've woken up with HUGE nipples this morning. Is that even normal?!

Fluffkins14 · 07/06/2020 07:34

Pregnancy insomnia is definitely a thing, hoping we all get some sleep soon.

@IamC unfortunately yes it is very normal in pregnancy 😂 my DP pointed out mine had got bigger the other day 😂

Stephanie3110 · 07/06/2020 08:21

@lydiangel83 The cookies sound delicious Grin. Count the days from your last period. How old is your first? I have an 11 year old also born in Feb.

@Emma476 I’m the same, I really don’t want to tell her. I am due in on Monday, I’m secondary so we are on a rota. I’m going to go in but keep my distance and then see when I’m next in and may email just before then.

@Lovesamash hey, the guidelines for schools is that it is up to the head teacher, but the unions advise against it. Maybe it will be up to your boss?
R u going to go in? I don’t know why I’m so worried, but I don’t want to tell the head just yet.

Stephanie3110 · 07/06/2020 08:22

Also I’m with you guys on the pregnancy insomnia train! I can go to sleep fine... it just staying asleep. I’ve been watching one born every minute since 5 am Blush

Lovesamash · 07/06/2020 08:40

I’m glad others are waking up in the early hours wondering what’s going on, slightly remember it with my first 🤔 Preparing is for the onslaught of Night feeds 🥰 I’m super excited even though it’s a drain. Work is a worry, I’m in direct contact with children and other staff. Not sure how it will work and I’ll need to let boss know for sure. Need coffee this mornings first cup tastes off 🤮 A wee takeaway latte would be amazing right now.. Feeling super dizzy, not sure if tiredness from barely sleeping or just pregnancy adaptations to my body... wooozzaaaaa!!
