Hey everyone!!! I know I’m super early as I’m 12dpo but I’ve finally had my “pregnant” on clear blue digital and I’m over the moon. I’ve been trying to tell myself not to get tooo excited as I had a chemical pregnancy in March but, too late haha. I’m so excited and happy! May as well be positive about it..

Anyone else just found out they’re pregnant and due in February 2021? The NHS due date calculator puts at the 3rd February. What’s your symptoms been so far ?

Xx

Morning all. Thank you for the kind words. Nothing more has happened, but really crampy and sore, going to just rest up and see what happens.

JemimaFuddleFuck · 05/06/2020 08:16

Hello all, congrats on all the new BFPS!

Sorry you’re having a worrying time @OnNaturesCourse fingers crossed it’s just a bit of old blood making it’s way out of your system.

I’m thinking I’m out. My BFP is not getting any darker - if anything it’s a bit lighter this am - and I know my body so well that I know my period is coming either today or tomorrow.

Wishing you all happy, healthy and successful pregnancies. Please don’t let my update worry you, every woman is different and chances are you and your baby will be fine! Flowers

Hi everyone, I have some sad news to share. Unfortunately in the middle of the night, I woke up in pain and noticed I had started bleeding. The pain got so severe I decided to go to A&E and a urine/blood test confirmed that I am miscarrying. Obviously I am devastated and in shock but also understand this is incredibly common and perhaps was for the best in some way. I’m trying to stay positive that things will work out for us in future. Congratulations to all the BFPs and all the best for your healthy and happy pregnancies.

OnNaturesCourse · 05/06/2020 11:05

💐 So sorry to read this @feelinghopeful. I hope your positive thinking and outlook give you some comfort x

Aurora2552 · 05/06/2020 11:59

Hello! Hope it's okay for me to join, I got my bfp a week about so I should be 5+3 but because I know I ovulated slightly late it'll probably get pushed back a bit

So funny story! I have a five month old that was conceived via ivf and thought we may as well try naturally (because chances are near impossible) whilst we wait for the clinic to open for an embryo transfer 😂😂

TenLun89 · 05/06/2020 12:25

@Aurora2552 similar to me! I have an 8 month old from ivf, told we wouldn't conceive naturally and I'm roughly 5 weeks, how exciting!!! (And scary to have two little ones)

howlatthetrees · 05/06/2020 13:55

I’m so sorry @Feelinghopeful4Flowers

TheFoz · 05/06/2020 14:28

Very sorry to hear this @Feelinghopeful4. Take some time out for yourself to heal physically and mentally Flowers

SaraSmith85 · 05/06/2020 14:59

Big congrats! Amazing feeling! :)

Elephantonascooter · 05/06/2020 15:04

@Feelinghopeful4 I'm sorry for your loss and hope you are OK.

I'm hoping someone can help me.. I'm somewhere between 5 and 6 weeks. I have been fitting flooring in my bathroom all morning (it looks amazing) but now having some cramping feelings in my tummy, similar to period pain. I'm really scared of miscarrying and I'm scared to go to the loo incase I see blood. I don't have a number for the midwife or anything so I don't on ow who to contact for help if I need it. Is there anything I can do? I've been resting since I finished the floor at lunchtime. I'm scared I've overdone it

Awkwarddough · 05/06/2020 15:16

Hi guys!! Very unexpectedly joining the thread! Just found out I’m pg with my second baby. We were planning on a second but not just yet Blush

I started a new job in April so I’m also worried about mat pay as I won’t have been with the school long enough to get full mat pay :(

Congratulations to you all!!

howlatthetrees · 05/06/2020 17:17

Congratulations to the BFP’s!

My nausea is still bad, DH thinks it’s because we’re having a girl. I’m not sure😂

Stephanie3110 · 05/06/2020 18:32

Hi all! I hope I can join you....
I got my BFP a few days ago... And have been following this thread so I thought I would post.

I’m due on February 10th 2021. This will be my second, DD’s bday is Feb 3rd. It usually snows around her bday.

I’ve not had any nausea yet, but feel really tired/ exhausted and lots of cramping too. Looking forward to see everyone progress over the coming months GrinSmile

OldMaBear · 05/06/2020 18:58

@Feelinghopeful4 I am so so sorry for your loss. It doesn’t matter how early it is, it’s still a massive blow. Sending you virtual hugs.

inahaze · 05/06/2020 19:44

hello again, struggling to keep up with the thread but I'm trying!

@Feelinghopeful4 so sorry for your loss, i hope they were lovely to you in hospital and that you can rest this weekend

inahaze · 05/06/2020 19:45

I'm 5 weeks now and things are starting to feel a bit more real as I'm mega bloated and my nipples are so sore and sensitive! i'm also really tired and i get waves of feeling sick if i get hungry.

i'm a bit wary of having sex, i know it's fine but i'm just so worried about something bad happening. anyone else?

lydiangel83 · 05/06/2020 19:57

So sorry for your loss @feelinghopeful4 xx

lydiangel83 · 05/06/2020 19:58

@inahaze similar number of weeks and symptoms to you. Not interested at all in DTD tho lol!

Have had pregnancy insomnia all week and am beyond shattered, off to bed soon! I had it with my first, barely slept for 9 months and then another 2.5 years of poor sleep thanks to DD. I fear I may never sleep again lolConfused

inahaze · 05/06/2020 20:07

@lydiangel83 even more similar to you then as my first child didn't sleep through until 2.5 years either!! (she is now 4).

weirdly i have exactly the same due date as my first baby!!!

tbh, the sleep deprivation i know that lies ahead is truly truly terrifying

i hope you get some good kip tonight

OldMaBear · 05/06/2020 20:53

@inahaze Both DH and I feel exactly the same about having sex - we’re too scared!

I spoke to my doctor about returning to a front facing job (scheduled for June 15th) and she said that as I am old (40), pregnant and obese then I could be classed as high risk and shouldn’t go back. The thing is, I don’t want to tell work that I’m pregnant as it’s so early (5+3) and we haven’t told anyone else yet. I definitely don’t want them to be the first to know! So I have a bit of a dilemma on my hands.

I think we will try to book a private scan at 8 weeks for reassurance. That’s if places are open.

OldMaBear · 05/06/2020 20:56

@lydiangel83 Is pregnancy insomnia an actual thing? I’m really struggling to sleep and absolutely exhausted. I can’t get off and then I wake up really really early. It’s a nightmare. Is this preparation for the years ahead?!? This is my first so I have no idea.

Fluffkins14 · 05/06/2020 20:59

Hiya can I join please? I'm due 5th February,

Has anyone got cramps/sharp pains in both sides please

bchar · 05/06/2020 21:15

Hi,

Please can I join? I have been following for a while and I finally got my BFP today! Ive got 4 days till Af is suppose to arrive and just stressing myself out with worry! You ladies seem absolutely lovely.

bchar · 05/06/2020 21:16

@OldMaBear I've been going sleep really late and waking up at 4/5 in the morning which isn't really like me. Then just napping throughout the day.

lydiangel83 · 05/06/2020 21:25

@@oldmabesr it seems
To unfair to be true but sadly it is, google it. We should be stockpiling our sleep now but apparently it's due to hormones etc. My friend is GP and she told me about it when I told her how bad my sleep was!
