Hey everyone!!! I know I’m super early as I’m 12dpo but I’ve finally had my “pregnant” on clear blue digital and I’m over the moon. I’ve been trying to tell myself not to get tooo excited as I had a chemical pregnancy in March but, too late haha. I’m so excited and happy! May as well be positive about it..

Anyone else just found out they’re pregnant and due in February 2021? The NHS due date calculator puts at the 3rd February. What’s your symptoms been so far ?

Xx

Hi @Emma476 I could have written your post. Horrendous first labour and still in pain from it 2.5 years later! DD is wonderful tho and after some heath issues with her finally wanted to TTC for a second. Am already worried about labour though!

lydiangel83 · 04/06/2020 12:48

@TheFoz good to hear it was better second time!

lydiangel83 · 04/06/2020 12:48

@Emma476 also meant to say yes not felt sick this time but definitely was with first. Just really tired but probably due to toddler and lack of sleep as anything else!

Harper04 · 04/06/2020 12:51

@TheFoz that’s made me a feel a lot better! I was worried if you had a taumatic birth for your first that’s how they would all probably go 🙈 I was induced on my first, awful. I really hope I can go natural this time. Was you induced on your second?

@Elephantonascooter I don’t blame you letting them know for risk assessment purposes! You’ve done the right thing. I bet they was all so pleased for you!? Awww no way 😫 I didn’t think to check if partners could come to the private scans, I was hoping they could. They’ve just confirmed my early scan for Monday next week, I’ll be 6 weeks exactly and I’m gutted my partner can’t come. When it didn’t turn out good last time it was awful being alone (was the start of lockdown in March). Feeling a little more positive this time though.

Due early February and this is my first...was feeling really scared and anxious I might be alone but so pleased to see others due the same time. xx

TheFoz · 04/06/2020 13:32

@Harper04 I wasn’t induced on my second as I refused it! They wanted to induce me on my due date, there was no reason to so I declined and they gave me a sweep instead.
I went into labour naturally at 6 days past my due date and I had just one lovely midwife the whole way through. Really hoping for the same experience this time round, all going well.

howlatthetrees · 04/06/2020 13:40

I’m really hoping I will still get my home birth. I’ve had 3 so far and the idea of being in hospital terrifies me

MrsLBear · 04/06/2020 15:44

@RiverRoo yes this'll be my first. Ah finger crossed for a little girl for you! I'm in the UK so slightly different. I self referred and just waiting for the letter with my appointment dates or lack of due to covid. So intrigued to see! That's amazing they do a scan so early in Australia.
Definitely having an early scan though just still debating the date to book it.

@brigg253 yes definitely over analysing everything. It's quite dull mostly and comes and goes so I'm hoping that's ok. Really trying to relax and just take it as it comes because I know stressing won't help anything or anyone. But far easier said than done for sure!

DisneyMummySince2010 · 04/06/2020 16:10

Hi Everyone,

So glad to be joining this thread! Got my positive this week and nhs calculator puts me due around Feb 12th- my wedding anniversary!!

I’m really nervous, I had an ectopic in October 2019 and lost my left tube and a natural mc in May 2019 at 11 weeks! Really hoping it all works out this time 💛

So happy to be in good company!
Hope everyone else is doing ok 👍

OnNaturesCourse · 04/06/2020 16:23

Hi all

Due date 10.2.2021 but I'm having some worrying symptoms like cramping and my test lines are getting lighter 😔 but I'm marking my place in hope!

Harper04 · 04/06/2020 17:24

@Angela08 congrats! We’re all here for you. How are you feeling x

@TheFoz I don’t blame you refusing! Glad the second went much better! Fingers crossed this time is the same.

@disneymummysince2010 hey and congrats! How lovely that your EDD is on your anniversary. Sorry to hear about your previous losses. We will have happy healthy pregnancy’s this time, that’s what I keep telling myself!

@OnNaturesCourse hey! Congrats on your positive! Cramping can be normal so try not to worry. If it’s getting worse though I would call your GP tomorrow and they could send you to get some checks? For peace of mind.

Hi Harper. Unfortunately they won't send me for tests until 6 weeks unless I get extreme pain. I am hoping to get a private scan around 7 weeks anyway, all going well, just to check in on the bean.

Lexie365 · 04/06/2020 17:52

hi all😊 i officially got my bfp today but have been getting faint positives for few days not exactly sure when my due date is but is definitely February🥰 is dc2 for me x

AtouchofFrenchy · 04/06/2020 19:27

Hello Ladies!

First of all Huge Congrats to all of you for your BFP! :)

I would love to join the thread as I am 5+5 today, due date around 31st Jan, and I am soooo worried that something goes wrong (I have miscarried my first pregnancy at 6 weeks last April 2019 and then took me a year to get pregnant again. I am kind of traumatised by this miss miscarriage which I would have never expected and now stressed that it happens again.. ). I have the feeling that babies are for others and will never happen to me ..

Regarding the current pregnancy I would say so far so good (touch wood), but still being a serial worrier. I have done around 10 urine tests getting stronger and stronger. Clearblue digital mentioning now 3+. Did as well two blood tests on DPO 18 and DPO 22 to make sure HCG increase normally. It did! From 535 UI to 3300 UI. However I am still very stressed and can't relax. I dont have much symptoms beside strong tiredness. Had once very sharp cramps in lower belly during the night, 10 min, but beside that nothing.. Don't really feel pregnant..

I am so control freak that I have booked an early scan tomorrow morning. I will be 5+6. I am sure to see it is not ectopic and (hopefully) to see a little embryo will make me soo happy. I dont expect to see heartbeat as might be too early.

Wish me luck and can't wait to read you all on the progress of your pregnancy and see your first early scan!

xx

Harper04 · 04/06/2020 19:49

@OnNaturesCourse just try and keep positive 🙌🏼 I don’t blame you with the early scan, I’m definitely going to do it. Just going to see how my early scan plays out Monday first.

@Lexie365 congrats on your BFP! How are you feeling?

@atouchoffrenchy hey and congrats! I’m so sorry to hear about your loss last year and I completely know how you feel with the constant worry. Every little twinge I clock!
Sounds positive that your tests are progressing! How exciting you have a scan tomorrow, I’ll be thinking of you! Let us know how you get on!!

@DisneyMummySince2010
Looks like we’re both in the same boat. Never met anyone that’s had an MC and an ectopic back to back. Feels less lonely now.
I had my first MC in Oct 2019, and a left tubal ectopic just this past February where I lost the tube too.
Congrats on your BFP! FX we’ve got sticky beans!
Are you planning on blood work or an early scan?
@AtouchofFrenchy I know exactly how you feel with the testing. I’m still testing every morning even though the lines now darker than the control. Just take it one day at a time. Good luck for your scan!

DisneyMummySince2010 · 04/06/2020 20:11

Hello @Scarlettm, aww I’m sorry for what you’ve been through too, and yes it’s actually very comforting to know someone else is going through the same!
I’m so nervous and every twinge or cramp has me worried sick! But I’m trying to enjoy every minute.
I spoke to the midwife today and she said they’d do an early scan in 3-4 weeks, so around 8 weeks but if I feel unwell or in any pain just to ring and they’ll book me in. She did ask me to do another clear blue next week and check the dates had gone from 1-2 to 2-3 and ring if they didn’t!
Have you had any advice?

Gallacia · 04/06/2020 20:23

Nhs calculator says 6th feb wooo

AtouchofFrenchy · 04/06/2020 20:34

@Harper04 @Scarlettm thank you so much for your kind words and will definitely let you know how it goes.xx

@DisneyMummySince2010 I think it definitely help to check how your pregnancy progress with the ClearBlue digital test. You feel so relieved to see weeks evolving. I did that as well for my current pregnancy. Let's try to keep positive and make 2021 our year! x

RosieJess91 · 04/06/2020 20:42

So confused, I had 6 positive tests on Sunday, I was so excited. Then yesterday, cramps and AF appeared (on what would have been 4 days late), and my hope deflated.
Today, all of a sudden, it's all stopped. After suffering a miscarriage in April, I know that a day and a half is too little for a miscarriage, but also I've bled too much to be IB... anyone else had anything similar? Don't want to get my hopes up, but I'm really lost. 🤷‍♀️

OnNaturesCourse · 04/06/2020 22:19

Brown discharge has appeared tonight and AF is due tomorrow. I've been absolutely floored with cramps today, and my back pain has started. EPU pretty much said let it runs its course and they'll call tomorrow AM to see how I am.

DP is heartbroken, but I'm kinda just numb.

@DisneyMummySince2010 I was told by the surgeon as soon as I had a positive to test to ring an early pregnancy unit. When I called them they said they wouldn’t do any bloods, So I ended calling around until I found a nice hospital and they booked me in for an early scan at 5 weeks. my ectopic ruptured at 6 weeks 1 day with no symptoms so I wasn’t taking no for an answer.
I can’t believe they’re making you wait till 8 weeks! I would be livid
@RosieJess91 have you taken another test?
@OnNaturesCourse I’m so so sorry, I know there’s nothing anyone can say right now to ease your pain. Just know that we’re praying for you.

Claridge94 · 05/06/2020 07:20

Hi Everyone,

I hope it's not too late to join!

I've been watching this thread since getting a very very VERY faint BFP a few days ago. I was half expecting a CP as I tested 2 days before AF Due (which I never do!) Today I've taken a FRER and got a very noticeable BFP 1 day after AF was due.

It's a very anxious time for me as this will be my 4th pregnancy in 6 months..it's seems getting pregnant isn't the issue but actually staying pregnant is! 4th time lucky I hope.

I'm 25 and have a 21 month old little girl.

Hope you are all doing well xx

MorgenMuffel · 05/06/2020 07:43

Morning all, can I jump on please? Got my first ever BFP yesterday after 2.5years on our second IVF cycle. Massively shocked 😲 I've been feeling a bit nauseous, have heartburn and SO thirsty, with sore boobs but had put it all down to the IVF drugs I am taking (mainly progesterone).

Very excited but so aware of how early on it is and that there is so much that could go wrong, so trying to take it one day at a time. I should have a scan in about 2.5 weeks to check its in the right place - there is increased chance of ectopic with IVF, so that is our next milestone.

Hope you all have a good day - I'm in work today and trying to work out if I need to tell my boss just yet!
