We have a thumb sucker! Nice and healthy very chilled in there, 12+6 EDD 23rd December! After feeling anxious I’m now feeling very content. Can’t wait to announce and shop!!

Correction I hope you’re all okay!! having a conversation and typing! Baby brain!! 🤣🤦🏻‍♀️🙈

@makingababy 😂 so many of my husband's family have their birthday in December- him, his dad, his Nana, plus his mum in November, so we'll probably end up having one big birthday party and combine the lot!! December will be busier than usual!

Great news everyone with scans and so glad all is good @Katbaby ! Lovely scans and seeing them all together you can see how they all look so different already! 😍

So glad everyone's scans went well today, really starting to feel real. My little one stuck its foot up towards us and I could see all the little toes so clearly it's actually amazing. Wish my husband could have been in the room with me 🙁♥️

For those that have had the screening tests back for downs etc how long did they take to come back roughly?

@katbaby aw I know I really felt like that after mine too! Hopefully by our 20 week scans the rules might have changed 🤞

@Bumble84 mine came back today a week after my scan all low risk x

They gave me my results straight away - no idea how.

But they are printed on my report.... and she told me when doing the scan.

Have you all relaxed after your scan?? I keep having these crazy moment where it hits me that I'm actually pregnant and I've got past the dreaded 12 weeks! Does it ever sink in I wonder..

We have booked another scan for 14 weeks .. I just like to make sure.

I've felt like crap today, nausea has been a killer! Plus my groin hurts.. like my ovaries?? Just aching 😩 how is everyone??

My low risk results came back via post about 10 days after scan/bloods.

I still don’t feel as if its real and keep worrying even after scan, I have a private one booked for 2.5 weeks time and will find out the sex. I haven’t told my DS5 yet, waiting until after the anomaly scan so it might feel more real then 😅

I love seeing all the scan photos - they are all beautiful so congratulations everyone. ❤️❤️❤️

It’s my scan today, my second one after having a private at Window to the Womb, and I am genuinely terrified that they are going to find nothing there as all my symptoms eased from about 9/10 weeks so I keep fearing the worst has happened. I even had a dream last night that I woke up to bleeding. Fingers crossed for me that I’m just being silly. I have to wait until 1535 for my appointment which right now feels a lifetime away😫.

I feel exactly the same way @Bigcheesey, glad I'm not alone! I thought a private scan would make me less nervous but it's made me worse (I have to wait until Friday for my NHS scan) I'm thinking the worst about every niggle!

Good luck @Bigcheesey 💓 thinking of you!! I know what you mean, I don't think scans really do relax you.. well they do for about 3 days then the worry creeps back in! I have been the exact same. I am sure everything will be perfectly fine so try and stay calm 💓

If it helps, I had the exact same thing - basically zero symptoms from 9ish weeks. And my scan yesterday was perfect 😊 Try to relax and take your mind off it (not easy but still try!) x

Just back from my scan and all went fine - baby was wriggling like mad, waving and kicking which I found hilarious. They brought me forward a few days to the 27th Dec too

@Bigcheesey hope it all goes well
@Bumble84 they should let you know the nuchal translucency measurement straight away but you have to wait for them to combine with the blood results for the final risk assessment - they told me if it was high risk they call within a few days but if low risk you get the letter results within 2 weeks.

Good luck everyone else that’s left to have scans! Is today the last day??

Does anyone else have mega sore nipples?? Any tips for constipation that aren’t drink more water also greatly appreciated...!

Hi all, lovely looking scan pictures coming on now!

Has anyone been referred for the quad blood test as they couldn't get the NT measurement? Also does anyone know why they can't take the bloods even if they can't get the measurements on the scan? Got the quad test on Monday and reading into it, it only screens for Downs and not the other two, but it's now too late for me to have the blood test for Edward's and Patau and I have to wait until the 20 week scan. I'm so cross that no one bothered explaining this to me at my scan and I'm cross with myself for not questioning it.

@ReocBr thank you! Just in the waiting room just now, I was fine till I came in and now really nervous. Hopefully not much longer to wait!

@ReocBr aww lovely scan picture. My nipples 😳😳😳 I caught one closing the curtain in bedroom last night on cotton curtain and could have cried felt like I'd ripped it off 🙈 they are so sore! Xx

@ReocBr lots of grapes, or figs - but grapes taste better.
