Hi ladies, I'm back. Blimey lots to catch up on!!! Some great news I see... 😃

I had my scan today - absolutely amazing! Can't believe how active it was, throwing it's hands over its head & all sorts!! 😍

Due date 27 November which I already knew as IVF.

Looking forward to hearing everyone else's results x

Had my scan yestoday! Estimated due date of 22nd November, I'm 12+5 weeks! Been struggling with allot of sickness and not sleeping too well! Feel free to guess the gender from the picture! Desperate to know the gender but partner wants to wait until birth

Hi all! Just looking for some reassurance really...my scan is on Monday and I had one at 10 weeks and all was fine, but feeling so nervous now! Yesterday and today I've had stomach pains, just aching in my lower tummy. Almost a mix of period pains and muscle strain! The logical part of my brain is telling me this is totally normal growing pain, however the neurotic worrier in me thinks it's bad! Anyone else felt anything similar? I don't think I've ever wished for a weekend to go so quickly!! X

It’s been so lovely to tell people, keeping it secret has definitely not helped with feeling down and anxious. Everyone is over the moon for us.

Hi i am new, and due the 13th december, had a private scan today as after a mmc last year could not face going to the NHS ultrasound on my own incase the same thing happen and my partner couldn't be there, hope you ladies are all ok, my 12 weeks is 2 days before my birthday 28th may :)

@EBM20 I may be getting it wrong but I think that's the nub and if it's straight it's a girl but if it's rising at an angle it's the beginning of boy bits. No idea how accurate the theory is

@skinnyhotchoc now I'm thinking a boy for @EBM20 🧐. I was going more skull theory, but now I'm not convinced by my own judgement

@Beccarans89 we are both Monday so all I can say is I'm about to go to bed and hope I wake up Monday morning 😆. It's just going to be one of those weekends again where we truck on through it obsessing. It will pass by soon enough. I've had all those sorts of feeling too, but I've also been feeling sick as a dog today so that gives me some reassurance.

@Beccarans89 I've had a lot of straining pain and back pain. I think it's common especially if you have strong stomach muscles.

@ChampooPapi I'm no expert. I'm probably getting it wrong

@Beccarans89 I had strong like period cramps about 2 weeks ago to the point I was so concerned I rang the doctors! They said it could be things stretching out and not to worry, take paracetamol if needed. I had my scan yesterday and they said everything seems as it should be. Although they said my ovaries weren't visible, anyone else had this?

Hello I’m new to all this too. Had my scan Tuesday and was 11 + 3 and due 28/11/30 and it definitely feels real now

@Beccarans89 I am very similar I heard the heart beat on a doppler at my doctors at 10 weeks but last 3 days I've been having a lots of cramps and stretchy pains but everything I read said it it your uterus stretching and moving. I have my scan on Tuesday and I'm trying not to panic.

@EBM20 I was going on skull theory also not on nub so not sure about that

@ChampooPapi @Beccarans89 @roro87 looks like we’re all going to have a long weekend! Good luck to all of you for Monday & Tuesday. I’m going to avoid mumsnet (and google) over the weekend as I’m anxious enough as it is. I’ll let you know how I go on Monday though. Sending positivity!

Thank you so much to those of you that replied (I never know how to reply with tags when using the app 😄) I think it is just growing pains but with the scan being so close, it's hard for your mind to not go into overdrive isn't it! Fingers crossed our scan days come quickly and it's positive news all round xx
