Jumping on WinkDaffodil
I'm currently 11+3
Got my dating scan this Sunday at 11am. I'm so anxious! First baby, eeeek. X

roro87 · 14/05/2020 14:42

I'm the 26th too which is also my Mum's birthday. Mine is the 1st of December so could easily go over. 5 days to my scan and nerves have really hit.

Teaandbiscuits123 · 14/05/2020 16:43

Hi ladies, I hope everyone is having a good day. Smile

Has anyone been getting breathless? Over the past couple of weeks I’ve been getting breathless, especially when Ive been going out for walks (I’ve never had a problem before).

For those ladies who are also taking progesterone .. I just spoke to my consultant about stopping them - initially he had said to stop taking them at 12 weeks but I have been a bit anxious (now 13 weeks) so I wanted to speak to him before stopping. He just told me to carry on and has given me a new prescription - now I’m worried that I’ll never stop! Feeling a bit flustered!

RunnerGirl123 · 14/05/2020 16:51

@Teaandbiscuits123 I get breathless more easily too, any sort of incline and I'm breathing heavily!!

For the progesterone pessaries (and clexane and aspirin) I wont have a consultant appointment until I'm nearly 14 weeks - which will be 1 week after my scan. I was hoping to stop the clexane and progesterone on the day of my dating scan but will need to wait now for further advice. Did you doctor say why they were giving you another prescription?

kkr168 · 14/05/2020 17:37

I'm getting the breathlessness too, it's driving me crazy.

Been busy today stripping the old bathroom tiles off, sat in the garden for a quick rest & accidentally fell asleep, oops.

ManDubsMum · 14/05/2020 17:46

Hi everyone, i just had my scan and baby looks good. I was scared going there this morning cos i felt i wont see anything. My systoms disapoeared since 8 weeks . It got me so worried i decided to leave it in God hands and wait for today scan. They estimated 13weeks (EDD : 19/11/2020) for me while from my LMD i ought to be 12 weeks 2 days. Oh well, i can only thank God who makes all things beautiful. I wish everyone else the best.

Teaandbiscuits123 · 14/05/2020 18:16

@ManDubsMum glad your scan went well today!

I’m glad to hear that I’m not the only one getting breathless (not that I wish it on you guys!) I was getting a bit worried about it but it sounds as if it’s normal!

@RunnerGirl123 he didn’t say - I said I was anxious about stopping and asked whether tapering off would make a difference and his solution was to give me more! He said it wouldn’t do any harm but I don’t know how it will stop in the end now! (And it’s private so it costs me money to ask!!)

Char2020 · 14/05/2020 18:52

Jumping on Smilei have my dating scan next Friday. By my dates I’m currently 11+2 but had an early scan and they put me 4 days further along although I know it isn’t an exact science so should be at least 12+3 If not more by the time the scan is due. I’m very nervous of this one, I had a mmc in Jan and didn’t find out until the 12 week scan but everything feels more positive this time. Symptoms are still raging which even though annoying I’m grateful for. Current due date is 1st Dec.

Good luck to everyone having their scan over the next few weeks. Flowers

RestorationInsanity · 14/05/2020 19:05

Thanks for the new thread! My scan has been moved from 21st to 29th as I should be 12+3 then and they said they just want to make sure they can get all the measurements etc. The waiting seems interminable!

Kodiak83 · 14/05/2020 19:51

@Bethymae I had my scan on Tuesday and was 11+4 so due 27th Nov too!! Congratulations on your first baby and to everyone else too. This is no 3 for me ! Been feeling quite yucky but definite improvement since week 10, nausea much more intermittent.

lionsmum · 14/05/2020 20:05

@Kodiak83 did they manage to get all of the measurements at your scan? I think I'll be 11+4 at mine next week too

ChampooPapi · 14/05/2020 20:49

@Furbabymum15 and @MichelleOR84 we will be thinking of you guys tomorrow and update us as soon as you can. And perleese, we need photos to scrutinize ladies and make our gender guessing 😆🧐

@ManDubsMum that's wonderful news, it's such a worrying time it really is too much isn't it really!

I got my results back ladies from my harmony and all low risk. I also got a conclusive result for the genders of each twin. They are girls! 👯

We will have four girls in total as the other two are girls as well. My partner laughed like and when I told him, then went to clear out his she'd. He knows he has now been fully dominated by the ones who have vaginas ♀️🙌💪

Hi everyone I just joined Mumsnet as thought it would be great to share this journey with others at the same stage. I had my scan last Friday and I’m due 13th Nov (Friday 13th!), thank goodness I’m not superstitious!

ChampooPapi · 14/05/2020 21:05

Hahaha, even Shed was turned into She'd on my phone. The transition to female domination has begun 😏

ManDubsMum · 14/05/2020 21:46

@ChampooPapi, great news. How long did it take to recieve your harmony test after your 12weeks scan. Was it via mail or email?
I was low risk at the scan but the sonographer advised i also do the harmony test since its free. Well i obliged . There is nothing to lose after all.
She did nt mention the sex , saying its early. I was surprised bt did not press further. All is well by God's grace.

Kodiak83 · 14/05/2020 21:48

@lionsmum I got a private scan along with NIPT testing (as I’m a bit older this time) so the NT measure wasn’t officially part of it. She had a quick look and told me it was fine though as she could clearly see it. So I think your ok at 11+4. I think they got mine at 11+1 last pregnancy (NHS scan) but I can’t totally swear.

Amymone · 14/05/2020 21:55

@ManDubsMum how come you got a free harmony test? Had to pay £500 for mine!

Snowwhite2020 · 14/05/2020 22:10

@ChampooPapi that is such great news- two more girls and all tests clear. You must be over the moon 💖

Not much to report here except a very spewy day after a few days of no sickness and a crushing headache tonight which I seem to get sometimes in the evenings... the joys!

@Teaandbiscuits123 I too get breathless. A bit embarrassing sometimes but appears to be all part of the fun and games :)

Hope everyone is well tonight. Love to you all 💕

ManDubsMum · 14/05/2020 22:22

@Amymone, i don't know but am 101% sure a penny did not come out of my pocket for it . The sonographer said i cn go 4 it and she did not mention any amount so i agreed.

sunnygirl123 · 14/05/2020 22:28

Hi all, had my scan yesterday and measured 12+6, due 19th November. Such an amazing feeling! Pic attached if anyway fancies guessing gender fire away....

kkr168 · 14/05/2020 22:39

@ManDubsMum Did they do the harmony test straight away?
I'm certain they aren't free on the NHS!

Pe4nutsmum · 14/05/2020 22:49

Hi, I'm looking to join you ladies.
What exciting time. I'm absolutely nervous and anxious, our little blessing was a surprise and being that bit older than I was before, I have 12yr old and an 8yr old.

I have my scan on Monday. My midwife thinks I'm further along than I think I am.
Fingers crossed all goes well for Monday.

Loving all your positive scan result. Wishing you all a healthy pregnancy 🤰 xx

ManDubsMum · 14/05/2020 22:50

@kkr168, i had my scan at Harris Birthright Research Centre for Foetal Medicine and i do not recall them mentioning any amount to me . Its a research institute maybe that is why but really i cannot say.
This is what happened at the scan and i shared.
