@Buffalocauliflower same here with my "bits" that's why I went to get it checked out, still waiting to hear although it has seemed to have gone now, but good job I went anyway what with my cervical issue now.

And tiredness I'm the same, I cleaned the living room and kitchen on wednesday and i was shattered, not sure how I'll cope when I eventually go back to working 12 hour days

Pink15 · 15/05/2020 19:32

@Addler @BuffaloCauliflower feeling both of you today! Had a terrible headache and exhaustion all day :( I had 8 hours sleep where as recently I've been having 9-10 and seems to have made a massive difference :/

BuffaloCauliflower · 15/05/2020 20:09

@Hancock2020 ☹️ The tiredness is pants. I’m fine when I get up but flag throughout the day. I’ve made a super nutrient heavy veggie dinner because I feel like my body needs better fuel. I’ve been eating terrible the last couple of months with my food aversions, I usually eat really well and it’s definitely not been helping.

@Hancock2020 that sounds like a heavy day, what do you do? At least I think it’ll be more gentle at home working days for me this year

I second the tiredness being pants. I sometimes just feel so lazy and I think DH is looking at me thinking 'I dont remember her sitting on the couch this much the last time'. I have days where I need to nap at 3pm. I am NOT a person who naps.

Also, speaking of my 'downstairs' (I never made the connection but had a good giggle when some of you did) is anyone basically peeing their pants when they vomit? Its a new one for me. I am no longer nauseous, but still randomly vomiting at nearly 16 weeks is pants.

Wise0wl · 15/05/2020 20:45

@Addler @Pink15 @BuffaloCauliflower @squidgebum @hancock2020 I’m with you all! I’m so tired today, and so emotional. Just accidentally cried at DH because I didn’t know what to do with myself. Early night tonight I think!

At least it’s the weekend. Any nice plans?!

FireflyGirl · 15/05/2020 21:12

I'm so tired it's making me really grumpy. DH daren't ask me anything after about 5.30, especially if I haven't had my tea.

@Wise0wl the highlight of my weekend will be my food shopping delivery. How much of my order will I get? What will the substitutions be? How many meals will I have to fudge because half the ingredients are missing and then I won't want to eat it anyway...

@SqidgeBum - re your smelly downstairs snigger - I sympathise. I have a through living/dining/kitchen area. I've often put the bins and the cat food dishes outside. Do you have a dishwasher? If you're not using your sink much, the smell could be the drain. Probably worth sticking some bleach down it?

Wise0wl · 15/05/2020 21:16

@firefly I don’t do online shopping but do crave loads of things - but when DH brings it back I never want it anymore!

Trying to find a silver lining - at least I don’t feel like I’m missing out going out and drinking 😂

LozEliza · 15/05/2020 21:17

@SqidgeBum I feel your pain for weeks the house stunk of garlic to me. I could smell it everywhere and it made my nausea so bad. DH said I was imagining it. Since my nausea has subsided so has my sense of smell and I can't smell it anywhere now. It's so strange.

I keep getting the 'busy during lock down as well' not unless we've been locked down for almost 15 weeks!!

I'm not really getting a bump yet. We went for a walk yesterday and it really seemed to pop but has since got down to a mini bump again.

Crazy people are talking about headaches as well because I'm sitting here with a banging one just had to take some paracetamol!

NatalieH2220 · 15/05/2020 21:35

Headaches have been awful this week for me too, I actually contacted my midwife as was slightly worried as I rarely suffer from them and they said it's very common around the start of 2nd trimester so hopefully hormones will die down soon and they'll pass for us all!

MoreGinPlease2020 · 15/05/2020 21:41

Another one here with a pounding headache. I suffer from chronic headaches and migraines anyway but have been feeling pretty good until this week.

Hancock2020 · 15/05/2020 23:00

@BuffaloCauliflower I'm a restaurant supervisor, I used to be the GM but stepped down because it was too stressful. So now dh is the GM so hes boss at work and I'm boss at home lol 🤣🤣

Jay0512 · 15/05/2020 23:30

I have a small bump too (15 weeks) and by the end of the day it’s a lot bigger! It’s definitely bloat by the evening, I’ve always been a bloaty person so I look a lot further along than what I am! Jeans felt tight very early on.

Anyone else having trouble sleeping? I think it’s because I’m paranoid about sleeping on my back, so I’m always tossing and turning. I’m trying to get into the habit of sleeping on my left side. Thanks

FudgeFlies · 16/05/2020 00:24

(Changed my username from Jay0512) *also don’t know why I put thanks at the end of that post Confused

Amiz · 16/05/2020 07:03

Thought I'd say hi, as I'm due on 9th nov. Feeling a bit of a weird about this as I have no pregnancy symptoms (see other thread) but know I'll need support from you guys as time goes on

seventhrow · 16/05/2020 08:22

@fudgeflies I’m also sleeping really badly. Doesn’t help that I’m getting up to pee.. I’ve been sleeping in our tiny spare room a lot so that DH doesn’t disturb me at all, especially during the working week. Slept in the main bed last night and it was a disaster.

@amiz welcome! Your due date is 2 days after mine Smile. No symptoms sounds awesome!! My mum had basically no symptoms and I was really hoping I’d take after her. No morning sickness, no dizziness, no fatigue. She told me last weekend that she’d played competitive squash up until her opponents started complaining because they felt uncomfortable playing such a pregnant lady. Ha. I guess some women just don’t get them!! In a few weeks we’ll start getting movement flutters so they’ll be good for reassurance Smile.

FireflyGirl · 16/05/2020 08:48

I'm very jealous, @Amiz. You'll be one of those ladies who glows throughout Grin

@FudgeFlies I have good nights and bad nights. I struggle to get to sleep despite being exhausted, and then I wake to go to the loo and can't get back over. Then I feel rotten all day!

I've also started with the crazy dreams. Last night I dreamed I gave birth to a 6 month old. She was very well dressed for having just been born, but screamed at me constantly when I tried to feed her Confused

Pink15 · 16/05/2020 10:19

Were any of you told where your placenta was on the 12 week scan? I asked (as I'd heard if it's anterior you feel kicks later on so wanted to know) and she told me it's too early too tell!! I hope she wasn't hiding something from me Cos I'm sure most people find out..... probably worrying over nothing!

AnxiousLady1 · 16/05/2020 10:20

@Pink15 I think people are generally told that further along.

SqidgeBum · 16/05/2020 10:26

I was told on DC1 that my placenta was anterior. On this one I wasnt told anything. I forgot to ask.

However, even with an anterior placenta she still beat the hell out of me from 22 weeks onwards

SqidgeBum · 16/05/2020 10:26

Sorry, that was meant to say was told at the 12 week scan*

Tonicandgin · 16/05/2020 13:20

I'm sure I can feel little movements!! Grin

Hancock2020 · 16/05/2020 13:26

@Tonicandgin yey! Butterflies or full moves?

NatalieH2220 · 16/05/2020 13:28

Aww how exciting @Tonicandgin

I had anterior placenta with my first so didn't feel any movements until around 19 weeks. They told me on my 12 week scan last time but didn't mention this time and I forgot to ask. Tempted to book a 16 week scan so will ask then.

BuffaloCauliflower · 16/05/2020 13:29

@Pink15 no mention of placenta here.

So I got a blood pressure machine online and am now totally justified for feeling a bit pathetic and weak. 79/50 with pulse of 59. No wonder I feel faint.
