No, sorry lol cant feel 🙄🤪 can you tell I've not been up long lol

HarrietM87 · 15/05/2020 10:17

@Hancock2020 I get that too! I sleep on my left side so in the mornings I can feel the baby on that side - it’s a hard lump/bulge! Looks really weird but it all spreads out again once I’m on my back.

OurLittlePumpkin · 15/05/2020 10:19

My bump is starting to show and my stomach is a lot harder, I'm 14 weeks today.
Thanks for vitamin answers ladies.

Has anyone found themselves telling friends but feeling like they've had to justify that they found out before lockdown happened?

SqidgeBum · 15/05/2020 11:06

@OurLittlePumpkin yes! We have had a few comments like 'oh you have been busy during lockdown'. I have responded with 'math isnt your strong point is it?' 🤣🤣

OurLittlePumpkin · 15/05/2020 11:10

@sqidgebum right that's it, I'm stealing your reply 😂😂 the perfect response does exist!

seventhrow · 15/05/2020 11:32

Is anyone else getting really bad head rushes occasionally? Twice I've got up this week and immediately had to lie down on the floor as they are really intense.

Also am often feeling a bit weak and faint. Breath is really shallow it's like I keep forgetting to breathe in! Really want my blood test results back although maybe they would have rung if I'm anaemic... Might get a blood pressure machine online. I've had low blood pressure in the past and it was borderline low at my booking in. Would be good to know that that's what it is..!!

Caldey11 · 15/05/2020 11:33

@MillieY I have found putting a pillow between my knees is the best thing to relieve hip pain as it reduces the pressure. I have also bought a big C shaped pregnancy pillow but I am hoping not to need that for a little while yet as it will make it even harder to get out of bed and will take up a lot of room so OH will get squished!

I have a massive bump, I had a fresh IVF transfer so was bloated from IVF meds, then bloated from loads of progesterone for 12 weeks, I did think it would go down but I'm almost 14 weeks and I'm just getting bigger, I look about 6 months, no joke. I guess it will even out at some point othersie I can't imagine what size I'll get to!

Hancock2020 · 15/05/2020 12:35

@seventhrow yes, everytime I stand up I have to bend down again and stick my head between my legs 🙄😄
But I had low blood pressure before i got pregnant so I'm sure it'll just be exasperated during pregnancy

Crispaddict99 · 15/05/2020 12:57

@BuffaloCauliflower Because it's my first pregnancy and I'm 40, I'm considered medium risk for pre eclampsia and I was prescribed 75mg aspirin a day from 12 weeks. My BP is always low (only 90/56 at my booking appointment) but I've still to take the aspirin because I fall into those 2 categories.

@seventhrow Yeah I get head rushes too. I'm putting it down to my low BP and all this extra blood we're pumping around!

CoBell · 15/05/2020 13:07

@SqidgeBum Haha, I think I may pinch that reply too! Smile
I’m also finding that a pillow between my knees allows me to sleep a lot more comfortable as I was struggling with hip pains while I’m trying to get into the habit of side sleeping!
It’s so nice to hear about anyone’s scans going well. I have my 20 week scan booked in now and I can’t wait!!! Grin

OurLittlePumpkin · 15/05/2020 13:15

@millieY I recommend the bbhugme pillow, but pricy but totally worth it and can use when breastfeeding (or bottles) - it's just a great investment, I asked hubby for one for my bday as been struggling with back, hip and leg pain in bed

SqidgeBum · 15/05/2020 13:24

Speaking of annoying things caused by pregnancy,is anyone else sense of smell driving them mad? My whole downstairs smells of rotting bin to me, even though I have emptied and scrubbed the bin? I cant figure it out. Dh says I am imagining it.

Caldey11 · 15/05/2020 13:40

My sense of smell has gone crazy this week, I'm smelling the dishwasher drying! It's like a hot plastic smell, coffee and onions smell way stronger than they normally do too.

MillieY · 15/05/2020 14:06

Thanks for the tips on hip pain, I can imagine it's only going to get less comfortable sleeping 🙄
Ref sickness/dizziness I keep having a spoonful of peanut butter or honey when I feel faint and it seems to perk me up enough.

Hancock2020 · 15/05/2020 14:26

@Squidgebum yes! I can literally smell everything! I have one particular smell that makes me feel sick when I'm in the bathroom, but I've been sniffing around to try and pin point it and I cant! That's driving me mad! Especially with how much time is now spent in the bathroom lol

Fouryearslater · 15/05/2020 15:48

@FilthyforFirth I don’t know if you’ve needed the suppositories yet from the ondansetron, but they are in short supply so if you see them, buy them! I can’t get hold of any 😫

FilthyforFirth · 15/05/2020 16:04

Haha @fouryearslater I have been constipated for nearly a week due to ondansetron. An at home enenma and countless suppositries have not helped. Worried next step is admission like last time... I hope you are faring better than me!

jeleigh · 15/05/2020 16:15

Does anyone know how to remove a thread from here? I stupidly asked for some legal help elsewhere and I’ve started to get some abuse.

Lesson learnt 😂

Addler · 15/05/2020 16:29

@SqidgeBum God for a second when you said your 'downstairs' I thought you were talking about your genitals Blush I was very concerned for you

Fouryearslater · 15/05/2020 16:31

@FilthyforFirth after my last severe bout (where suppositories helped) I’ve not been too bad until the last few days. And now I can’t get suppositories! Pharmacist has sold me an enema but the thought is making me nervous!

FilthyforFirth · 15/05/2020 16:41

I wont lie @fouryearslater it is pretty grim. I am barely eating so sort of hoping there just isnt much to go with...I cant function without ondansetron though so I just need to suck it up sadly.

Addler · 15/05/2020 16:46

I've had a horrible horrible headache all day. One of the ones where you can't move your head without pain. I've taken paracetamol and aspirin and it hasn't done anything, I've been in bed pretty much all day. Wish I could have something stronger

seventhrow · 15/05/2020 17:40

@jeleigh message mumnet! I've asked for my own messages removed before by clicking "Report" and explaining to MN in the form that comes up that I regretted posting it...

BuffaloCauliflower · 15/05/2020 19:23

I suddenly do seem to be getting a bump. Some of it is definitely just belly squish but I can feel it rounding out.

I’m feeling so tired late afternoon/early evening at the moment. Did Costco and Tesco today and it completely wiped me out. How will ever cope with baby sleep deprivation?! 🤣

BuffaloCauliflower · 15/05/2020 19:26

@Addler @SqidgeBum in my case it is my genitals 😂 I’m sure it’s fine but I’m getting more discharge than I ever have in my life and I’m convinced I can smell my bits all the time (yay pregnancy TMI!) Im sure it’s actually fine but I keep telling DH about it and he’s really not happy
