Ive put on loads i think. I dont know my pre-pregnancy weight but i estimate ive already put on over a stone! I was a size 8-10 and tiny before, and at 15 weeks i have a full on bump and easily look 6 months. Trying not to worry about it til after the baby is born...

In other news, we bought out first baby item yesterday! Its a high chair, of all the random first purchases lol I'm meant to have a phone call any day for my 16 weeks appointment, and in 2 weeks i have a consultant appointment then a week after that is the next scan! Time seems to be flying past at the moment. Still not feeling movement though. Was convinced that by now (15 + 4) I'd be feeling something 🙄🙄

Bumblebee413 · 23/06/2020 13:49

Our little one says 'Hello!' at 20 weeks! All ok and we didn't find out the sex. Any guesses? X

professorastrocat · 23/06/2020 13:52

Hi how's everyone doing?! I'm so busy with work and haven't had chance to check on here as much.

@Hatepickinganame I definitely wasn't feeling movement that early, everyone is different though but I wouldn't worry. She's actually still very 'quiet', though has a pattern to her movements so I'm not concerned as it's not a change, if you see what I mean.

Just a heads up aswell if people are looking at car seats MaxiCosi is 20% off everywhere til end of June. It's exciting getting a few purchases in! We dumped our first car seat to make room in the garage plus it wasn't a very good one, poor lad, don't think it was that comfy!

Yay lovely 20 week scan news @Bumblebee413 so glad everything is well.

If I was forced I'd guess boy but difficult without the view of bottom shot at this gestation. There seems a little 'going on' down there 🤷‍♀️ it's nice to wait and see!

Lovely scan pick @Bumblebee413 I'd guess bit too!!

I've got a scan and consultant appointment 2 weeks today then my 28 week midwife appointment in 20th July!!

DH's idea of a compliment today was that I look like I'm smuggling a bowling valley he's still insisting it was a compliment!!

Think my little one is tired she kicked almost all day yesterday except when I was doing housework til 2am she kept awake she's kicking pretty hard now although she's just started again now!! Xx

MummyBearBoo · 25/06/2020 14:42

Meant pic and boy too! Xx

MummyBearBoo · 25/06/2020 14:43

@professorastrocat @MummyBearBoo Thank you ladies!

Love that the hands are behind the head and the legs are crossed like they are relaxing 😂 very cooperative too, scan was only 5 minutes! Moved when told to and stayed still when told too, amazing 😂x

Congratulations @whatsthecraic91! I wonder if it will be a 2020 or 2021 baby! X

Hatepickinganame · 27/06/2020 08:29

Is anyone else getting braxtons already? Ive had to google it to check how early they can start as i cant believe im already getting them! Its unmistakable though!!

professorastrocat · 27/06/2020 09:04

Ooh I did @Hatepickinganame but my midwife shrugged them off as stretching growing pains, but I'm sure they weren't! I don't have them now though. Very strange! I also think I wasn't drinking enough which I think can contribute.

OP posts:
Hatepickinganame · 27/06/2020 09:28

@professorastrocat that could be it, ive been drinking loads but lemonade not water, is that really bad? ive also realised ive not been taking vitamins again and i have continous low iron so thay could be contributing. Starting to panic a little as had some brown spotting yesterday too (which i know is meant to be common and harmless!) Think ive been overdoing it just a bit lately!

professorastrocat · 27/06/2020 09:54

Very similar to me! I'm not sure about lemonade being bad it's probably better than not drinking enough at all. I also had brown spotting between 13 and 15 weeks. If it's brown try not to worry, my midwife just said speak to someone straight away if it was red.

OP posts:
professorastrocat · 27/06/2020 09:56

With the iron levels did it come up in your first blood tests? I had to take iron tablets with my first pregnancy towards the end. I'm trying to eat more in my diet this time, so that may help you too? Particularly if you're not resting enough and doing too much.

I dont know, havent heard anything since my app at 12 weeks and not sure what it all means on my notes 😂 definitely gonna start taking my multi vit again though!! And tmi but the spotting was after dtd so that could have caused it? Must learn to take it easy at work i think!

professorastrocat · 27/06/2020 10:34

I just heard about my blood results on the phone at the 16 week app if that helps @Hatepickinganame

20 week scan (at 20+6) and ive had to apologise for my child's behaviour already 😄 He was happy to show us his spine, bum and willy 🙈 Everything seems fine but the lady couldn't do the proper checks on his heart etc so back for another try on 8th July. These are the best photos she could get haha

MummyBearBoo · 27/06/2020 13:29

@DPSawMyUsername - Little trouble causer already! Glad it went well though!

My next scan is 7th -26w can't wait to see the little one she having a quiet day today so far coz she didn't sleep much yesterday!! Xxx

professorastrocat · 27/06/2020 15:18

fabulous news!! Haha, I love that they gave you those pictures too, that will create a great memory!! Glad everything was well , it's common they can't get the right angle for the heart. It took and hour and 15 mins for my whole scan including two toilet trips and involved me dancing before she could do what she needed to look at with the heart. @DPSawMyUsername
