Aw loving all the bump pics. Here's mine from 19w.

Am still at the slightly awkward phase where it kinda disappears in the morning and seems to grow as the day goes on. And doesn't really look like a bump in jeans, just a thicker waist. Looking forward to it popping a bit more over the next few weeks!

@BooMamaBear On the increased watery discharge - yes.. experienced this the past couple of weeks though seems to have improved the past few days. Led to a lot of checking myself and google searches on what amniotic fluid looks like! But it seems to be normal!

Buzz22 · 17/05/2020 12:01

@BooMamaBear I'm 5ft10 and have a retroverted uterus so I reckon it will take a bit longer to show. No one thinks I'm pregnant I'm still in my size 8 clothes! Really looking forward to having a proper bump. I get excited when I look down as it looks much bigger from above then get disappointed when I take a photo from the side!
I was worried about how small I was when I had my cervical scan on friday. The consultant said I had plenty of fluid which was obviously my main worry after last time. So I'm assuming im just small for the time being and the watery-ness im feeling is discharge. Sounds like we are all suffering with some dampness down there at the moment so that's even more reassuring for me!

BooMamaBear · 17/05/2020 12:10

Lovely bumpies ladies!! I think people's bumps start at different tomes anyway mine might not get bigger for a bit coz it's kinda already had a 'growth spurt' so you could find that your bump just suddenly gets bigger!
I'm 19w today need to take a new bumpie for my App coz my last one which is below is from 17w+5! Xx

BooMamaBear · 17/05/2020 12:12

Thanks for the reassurance re:discharge I feel so much better -I love how supportive this group is!!

HerondaleDucks · 17/05/2020 13:11

Lovely bump pictures!!!

babymama09 · 17/05/2020 13:22

Afternoon ladies, just been catching up on the posts over last 2 pages, your bumps all look fantastic. I have included mine I am 17 weeks and 4 days or there abouts. I didn't have a mirror to use so took it sitting down. I have my midwife Appointment this Saturday. How far is everyone now? Any more scans upcoming? I have to wait til the 3rd June it's ages away 😔
I just cannot wait to be told for sure what this baby is because if it is what they said my kids are gonna be thrilled. Either way they would be if I am honest but it would be a true miricle if they are right.
How is every one today? Any one bought anything yet?

Indigogirl88 · 17/05/2020 15:07

I feel huge if it's any consolation, I'm 5"1 so I think I've popped earlier

Everyones bump pics look so cute!

I bought a few bits from Asda today they've got a few bathing bits on sale and I got a couple of grey baby grows Grin

BooMamaBear · 17/05/2020 15:45

@Indigogirl88 -think that's what happened to me I seemed to pop overnight as my pic is from 17+5 and I'm now 19w maybe being short means that you 'pop' earlier! My bump is a bit bigger now!!
I've not bought anything yet! Xxx

BooMamaBear · 17/05/2020 15:52

It's popped out from under my boobs now too so people know that I'm pregnant rather than just put weight on -that's where I get most of my stretching pains just under my boobs!! Xxx

CharlieBalf · 17/05/2020 16:42

Hi ladies!
Loving the bump updates! So many different and wonderful tummies out there 😊
I have my 20 week scan tomorrow, nervous as I don't think I've felt little one move at all apart from some dubious flutters which may have been wind 😬.
Hopefully all going well I'll find out the gender too... I'm impatient and can't wait!
Bump picture included! For reference nthis is my first and I'm 5'3 and unfit 😂

AutumnBabyWinterMummy · 17/05/2020 16:58

Congrats everyone who's reached their 20 weeks! I'm 19 tomorrow and can't wait for 20!

Bit of an "out there" question and DP and my mum think I'm absolutely mad for considering but has anyone heard of Aniball to help prep you for labour?

My bump pic from last week xx

Ahhh loving all the bump pics . Hope everyone is having a great weekend.

NWnature · 17/05/2020 17:59

@AutumnBabyWinterMummy I have heard of it! Also keeps coming up on my FB ads at the moment. Do you know anyone with first hand experience? My best friend had a baby last summer and sent me some coconut oil for perineum massageConfused but I don’t think you start til later on.

Lovely bump pics all. My scan is on Friday, can’t come soon enough!

I tried to do some pregnancy yoga on YouTube just now (yoga with Adrienne ) but found it a bit boring and I feel quite restless. Will give it a go in the week. I’ve been off the bandwagon with working out only did one last week on Monday!!! Need to get back in the swing of things.

BooMamaBear · 17/05/2020 18:07

I can wait to get to 20 weeks - my scan is Tuesday so I'll only be 19+2 at my scan but so far at both my previous scans baby has measured bigger than we thought!
Not felt baby move yet today but she usually kicks at night so I'll wait til then!
Xx

AutumnBabyWinterMummy · 17/05/2020 18:11

@NWnature yes that's also where i found out about it! Scary how much Facebook knows about us!! No I don't know anyone but I had a good look at the website and amazing reviews, I will ask my midwife about it but afraid she won't have a clue what it is. I'm going to do the massage thing too along with hypnobirthing, I'll do whatever I can to help make this labour better!!

I have a good yoga dvd I bought from amazon it's called pregnancy yoga with Tara lee and another one called what to expect when you're expecting the workout which is a lot more active and I quite like both x

BooMamaBear · 17/05/2020 18:28

I'm not sure if the Aniball will work for me coz i already have an episiotomy scar so my skin is already damaged!
So this is today I don't think I've grown much since my earlier pic though! Xx

MrsD1990 · 17/05/2020 18:35

@nwnature I find yoga with Adrienne boring too - I have been using Lucy Flow yoga after my friend recommended it - she's ok, she moves from position to position slower than I'd like but the main thing I like is she has a variety of videos for different times of day etc - you do have to pay though, it's about £12 a month I think. Don't love her but my back always feels better after I do it. My favourite exercise is doing barre classes with barrecore - they do prenatal live ones. They're £6 a class though so can add up - also they're live so I have to fit my day around their schedule which can be hard when working.

@spark27 I spent so long on that baby show Facebook page today 😂 thank you for sharing, it was so useful! We bought the positive birth company digital pack and me and my husband did the first section today which has already been so helpful - I'm more informed already! I hadn't heard of birth centres before (I know very little as a ftm 😂) but definitely going to ask if I can use one! Also bought our pram that I'd been thinking about for weeks (babyzen yoyo) and the sample MAM bottle which was on my list anyway. Spent a small fortune but am rationalising that they are all things I had on my list to buy anyway and getting them now meant I got discounts on all of them 😁

Spark27 · 17/05/2020 18:45

Pleased it helped @MrsD1990 Grin

I just wrote a massive post and included a bump pic and it seems to have disappeared. Damn app

HerondaleDucks · 17/05/2020 20:25

Been on a shopping spree this weekend.
Got changing mat, nursing bras, baby bath and perfect prep machine from facebook all for less than 50 quid.
So that is a bargain.
Also got all the moses basket linen, mattress, sheets and bedding, and a sterilising set with bottles and warmer etc.

My check list has got a bit smaller today! Lol

BntTowers · 17/05/2020 22:42

We spent a fair bit this weekend as well... The IKEA order and then I ordered on the bundle boxes from the baby show, cheeky wipes and positive birth company...
Just waiting for the mil to get off the phone so I can go to bed, who calls people at 10pm?

BooMamaBear · 17/05/2020 22:45

Perfect prep is definitely a good buy I can't recommend it enough -I exclusively breastfed for 6 months and so my baby was used to being fed on demand and the prep is so quick, served at the perfect temp and with the boiling water that goes in kills impurities in the milk -the powder is much cheaper than ready made bottles!! The only thing I would say is that you'd need ensure your baby will actually take bottles coz some won't! We were lucky with DD as long as it was food she wasn't bothered except she preferred Aptamil she really didn't like SMA it made her sick!! Xx

LexiM · 17/05/2020 23:26

@HerondaleDucks sounds like some good bargains there! I keep looking at things but just being so indecisive at the minute.

@BntTowers I ordered some cheeky wipes too today. There are so many different choices on wipes etc on there, I’ve just got some to try and will see how we go. I have no idea realistically how many we will get through each day. I have a friend who uses them and she said they’re so easy especially at home.

Indigogirl88 · 17/05/2020 23:43

Evening ladies, I'm so upset. Dp has just had a go at me as we rented a film out and I kept falling asleep, and he said that its totally pointless doing anything together as I always fall asleep in the evenings and made me feel totally shitty. I'm currently giving him the scilent treatment, but I want to know whether this is totally normal. I dont think I have an iron deficiency or anything.

I have no idea how second time mums cope with a toddler and tiredness!

BooMamaBear · 18/05/2020 00:23

@Indigogirl88 -it's hard work I have a 4yo I usually go the fed at same time as her and have a power nap but then I'm awake til late and shattered in the morning at her age she's doesn't nap so be evenings I am really tired!
My DD has sensitive skin Johnson's were really bad -the best way the mw tell you is not to use wipes but cotton wool and water - we used Water Wipes coz they're almost as good and easier! Xx
