@LexM I wasn't happy earlier when he snapped at me for yawning, it's why I'm thinking about getting a desk for downstairs.
It's put me in a rubbish mood all day, but won't be able to talk about it with him until he has finished working.

babymama09 · 13/05/2020 16:46

I have had coleslaw bought from tesco dh bought me a strawberry cheese cake and o was obsessed with this with my little girls pregnancy.
Anyone else suffering with headaches I have had one for 2 days, wasn't given my whooping cough injection and have to see my midwife a week on Saturday at the hospital.

BooMamaBear · 13/05/2020 17:22

@Aquablue1123 -the table wrong for me too your scan is same day as mine!
I wouldn't worry about not feeling flutters for a few days t this point it's really random -mine hardly moved at all yesterday but then was kicking this morning! Sure you'll feel your baby again soon!
I'm actually on 19+2 on my scan date though!
Got my whooping cough jab booked for week after! Xx

Treaclepie19 · 13/05/2020 17:37

@babymama09 would they not give it you because of your headache?
They didn't even ask me and I've been having them.

Im so grumpy today. Could really eat a takeaway 😩

OP posts:
LexiM · 13/05/2020 18:00

I didn’t realise coleslaw would be an issue as the supermarket use pasteurised eggs.

I could really eat my feelings today as well, not even sure why. Being so moany this evening too - my husband just ignores me 😂

@BntTowers it’s so hard sharing space. I’m glad I can go to the office sometimes as there’s nobody else there. For us it’s the sound proofing, I’m loud and DH complains about my calls!

Treacle81 · 13/05/2020 18:03

Oh thanks, gonna have some with salad 2m! Postponed the food shop- could not be bothered! Lol. New thing is to completely strip off for nap then cannot be bothered getting clothed again 🙃xx

Indigogirl88 · 13/05/2020 18:27

@treacle81 same been eating it and been fine, wouldn't eat it if it was going out of date though

I'm so miffed today as well dp thinks that paying for anything right now is pointless, I suggested NCT classes but thinks it's a rip off, then said I'm over thinking everything
Is there anything wrong with wanting to be prepared especially being a ftm. He thej complained that dinner wasnt exciting enough tonight, I swear to god! Angry

BntTowers · 13/05/2020 19:32

@indigogirl88 He needs to start thinking what for dinner every evening and then making it!

I'm just starting to look into NCT classes and things and DH has said "we can learn all of that from YouTube" and "it can't be that hard" ... I'm still going to book onto a class, he will find it useful when I get round to it.

HerondaleDucks · 13/05/2020 21:23

Is anyone else getting motion sickness when the baby moves? In the last 5 days the movement has got really pronounced and it's making me feel sea sick. Is that normal?

BntTowers · 13/05/2020 22:28

DH thinks getting a desk downstairs is silly. I'm in such a bad mood. He has a minister and a laptop so he switches between squashing on the table with me and sitting on the sofa. I just have monitors so obviously I'm stuck there. He's put me in such a bad mood today, even watching sewing bee didn't cheer me up. I think I'll end up moving them to the dining table anyway at this point. I can't stand having to work on the same desk as him on silence.

BooMamaBear · 13/05/2020 23:30

I felt so much better after going to NCT classes I met mums to be local to me in same position some of whom I still see now -I just felt a lot more chilled and confident tho I missed the last class coz my waters broke just before we set off to go my DD was born the best day!! Xx

BooMamaBear · 13/05/2020 23:32

I don't really get motion sickness but it does feel weird like when your stomach drops but then she doesn't move around loads apart from some nighttimes she usually just kicks a lot!! Xx

Zaalfruit · 14/05/2020 03:47

Hey everyone- I just can’t sleep getting anxiety over my scan at 9am .

@BntTowers me and dh absolutely can’t work together - he hates noise must be because he is used to working in a biting office . I can’t work in silence it makes me crazy , move away from him - I moved away from dh and I feel way better . Also book the classes even if they online - my dh is the same , why do you Need a class , learn on the go...I think I need distancing from dh - 55 days of lock down is getting to me.

@LexiM i miss the girls from the office so we try and have a meeting everyday to chat it drives dh crazy 😜 he gives me stern looks .

Indigogirl88 · 14/05/2020 06:31

Looks like a few of us are having lockdown issues with dp's if it makes anyone feel better mine has taken over the spare room which would have been the nursery so I cant even get baby furniture (though ikea is being a pain!) My dp is usually really good but this lockdown has definately been trying. In the end he enjoyed dinner last night. Darent tell him that if in the unlikely event I need a c section he'll be cooking and doing most jobs for 6 weeks!!

I slept strange last night woke up really early then forgot to do my urine sample argh!

@Zaalfruit sending positive vibes for your scan today. I'm the same, mines a week today

Spark27 · 14/05/2020 07:06

Good luck with your scan today, @Zaalfruit. xx

I didn't do NCT, but have some mummy friends who did. Some loved it and are still friends, some weren't so fussed. I did some mummy and baby classes though and really enjoyed them (baby massage, baby yoga, etc.) And made some mummy friends through those.

Not had motion sickness from the movements. But when baby gets really wriggling it does feel funny. Like snakes in my tummy. Last time, towards the end it would make me feel sick and uncomfortable when she really stretched and flipped in my tummy. Felt like she would burst out of it

LexiM · 14/05/2020 07:11

I guess it’s bad enough not being able to do much and stuck in a house but to then work next to someone too. Funny how they all like silence! @BntTowers I would definitely move to the dining room table!

@Zaalfruit good luck today, look forward to hearing about it.

@indigogirl88 I’m with you on the Ikea furniture, what I want is never in stock and now they’re saying the delivery doesn’t meet their regulations, so why didn’t they say that in the first place. I think there’s more chance of it re-opening than me getting a delivery.

@HerondaleDucks I don’t get motion sickness but I can see why you might. Sometimes when baby moves it feels like when you drive quickly down a hill and my stomach goes.

I had lots of movement last night but nothing today so far, it seems to be every other day at the moment.

Quiffy · 14/05/2020 07:41

@HerondaleDucks I feel motion sickness from the flips. But I've been super sick all through pregnancy and I tend to get very travel sick in general so I think oxygen can make me sick ahaha.

@BntTowers How have you not murdered him?! I cannot work in silence esp when you get in trouble for making sounds or yawning. Urgh!

@Indigogirl88 I think if youd like NCT classes then it's worth the money - otherwise you'll just worry that you should have. Men are annoying.

@Zaalfruit enjoy your scan this morning

Indigogirl88 · 14/05/2020 07:52

@LexiM yeah I spent ages looking on ikea and the got to the delivery bit and half of it wasnt open for delivery!

I woke up early then fell asleep on the sofa, and got to find motivation to get ready for "work" from home

BntTowers · 14/05/2020 08:10

@Quiffy I nearly did at midnight because he woke me up not long after I had managed to get comfortable and sleep because my pregnancy pillow was in the middle of the bed. I ended up on the sofa because the snoring was driving me insane when I couldn't get back to sleep. He's tired because he "barely slept" yet had no idea I went downstairs...

Anyway I'm am 18 weeks today and at 2.30 this morning I think I may have felt movement. The over the hill feeling.

Treacle81 · 14/05/2020 09:07

Morning girls, just about to start training but just wanted to say good luck today @Zaalfruit xx

Buzz22 · 14/05/2020 09:46

Morning ladies. Good luck with your scan today @Zaalfruit!

I have felt no movement yet. I am 19 weeks today. Beginning to feel quite anxious about it as a lot of you seem to be noticing baby move. I also have a cervical length scan with the consultant tomorrow morning so I guess maybe that's why my anxiety is ramping up. Have a feeling I wont be sleeping well tonight!

Glitterbug86 · 14/05/2020 10:20

@Zaalfruit good luck for your scan and hope you enjoy it

BntTowers · 14/05/2020 10:26

@Buzz22 I don't think it's unusual to not feel baby move yet. I'm not sure it's what I felt or if it was something else. It might have just been tiredness and my imagination! Good luck for your scan tomorrow.

@Zaalfruit good luck today for your scan

BooMamaBear · 14/05/2020 10:47

@Zaalfruit -good luck for your scan let us know how you got on xx
