@Rnic1x I think 8 weeks but LMP puts me at 9 weeks but I know when we dtd and I have longer cycles 🤷🏼‍♀️

erm me and DH had some this morning and a very small amount of blood came away whilst wiping, and now i have sharp pain in my lower left side,

@YahBasic I originally thought I might be due Christmas eve but think I'm closer to the 29th actually but its just pure guesswork until I get a scan. Can't wait to actually have a date to work with!

@calpolatdawn me and hub dtd the other night and I had some mild cramping afterwards apparently its common after having an orgasm 🙄. Try not to worry if you don't have any more bleeding x

The smell of coffee is making me want to throw up🙈 I've just binned the whole tub 🤦🏻‍♀️ coffee is now banned from my house!

yet another trip to the loo, another pinprick of blood, its red not brown.

urgh, @Rnic1x its tge worst smell for morning sickness.

@Rnic1x I've completely gone off it too, and tea! Some unusual things are making me feel nauseas, yesterday it was the smell of the tumble dryer 🤦🏼‍♀️ I also made lamb for dinner last night and the smell this morning 🤢 dp reckons he couldn't smell anything!

@Jasminex1 ohh I am ok with tea for now thank god! I can't eat lamb though so I never cook it but I hate the smell normally xx

@Rnic1x such lovely news on your scan!!! Yay!! 🥰 also omg no!! Not coffee! I don't know why but it's the one thing that really makes me feel better in the morning (nausea wise too - I oddly feel it helps)!

My current food aversion is scrambled eggs and chicken. So basically anything from chickens! Beef still seems ok but mainly craving veggie food (wtf said the biggest meat eater alive - my vegan fiend finds it hilarious).

I've tried to tell my parents twice now and bottled it both times! They live abroad so it's a phone call announcement. First time they didn't really ask about any news and half way through the conversation I didn't feel it was ok to launch into "by the wayyyyy". Second time it just didn't come out 😂 so I'm going to try do it tomorrow! I think we've kept it a secret for so long that now it feels hard to reveal. Gah!

Does anybody have achy legs? My legs have started aching tonight sort of like a work out (that I haven't done ha)

@djmbaker @ElectricTonight it wasn't my personal GP it was the out of hours one I went to see and he wasn't very nice to me. . I'm going to speak to the midwife and my GP tomorrow
The out of hours GP said when I said about my cramps (probably from UTI or normal growing pains) it's still early back cramps usually follow bleeding it's still early so it could be miscarriage.
At the time it went over my head as I was so poorly but DP was fuming in the car when I told him and now I'm quite annoyed too
I would like to find out what the on call injected me with too now.
I've found some threads on here of people being prescribed the anti sickness tablets so I'm in two minds. I have been much brighter today with the sickness bands. Vomiting this morning but okay since.
I'm going to catch up with the thread now but thought I would reply in case I forgot as I've missed so much !! Xxxx

I'm just struggling with food in general.. I am literally force feeding. It's making me sad though, like I dread lunch time and tea time. It's hell. My partner doesn't cook so it's all on me and some days, I'd just like to have rice crispies and be done with it.

Here's another attractive symptom.. burping!!!! Anyone?? Christ.. even if I have a drink and I'm burping for hours after 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

I've got my midwife appointment this Saturday so that's good.. I've finally allowed myself to book it! 🙏🏻🙈

@djmbaker I'm so windy in general but yes to the burping. I'm not a usual burper so it takes me by surprise !!!

@ElectricTonight I hope you're okay. I'm a right anxious Annie at times too but you're definitely part of the group. I miss out on most chats and think the same sometimes but at the end of the day when anyone on here needs encouragement or support it's been there. Always here if you want a friendly ear (or eyes. Or whatever it is)

I do wonder sometimes what we all look like etc It will be interesting to find out. In work sometimes I picture someone and then I meet them and I'm so shocked they looked nothing how I imagined.

Ive found pressing on the balls of the bands have helped a little. I managed to cook a proper meal tonight for the first time in a couple of weeks (my poor kids were going to turn into oven food) so it was nice to sit together and eat. Even though I barely finished. Xx

@dixiedo haha I do too!! It's funny isn't it, how you can picture people in your mind then when you see them you think oh no.. that's not you 😂😂

It's mad, I'd never use a chat forum like this for anything apart from pregnancy. I'd also NEVER be this open about my nipples and wind with anyone 😂😂 especially a group of women I don't know!! It's funny but like you say, it's so supportive it's really lovely xx

@pocoyoandellie what times your scan tomorrow? Mines 5:30pm. This U.K. PM lockdown crap and the scan is making me feel so anxious.

@Rnic1x massive congratulations on your scan. I hope I get some more information when I go. Did they manage to do abdominal scan or was it transvaginal? I'm freaking out!!

Thanks everyone I'm panicking a bit now with achy legs but I'm sure that's nothing, I think it's gone now 😂

@Elmlee mine is 3pm I am literally so anxious I have convinced myself it will be bad news and its DH birthday tomorrow aswell 🤦🏼‍♀️ It is a nerve racking time for sure!

I don’t know who mentioned aching legs above but mine are killing since this afternoon, even had a soak in the bath which didn’t help.

Completely sick of food and the smells now, DH made chicken wraps before I had one bite and had to go and lie down upstairs it was knocking me that sick 😩

Hey @Elmlee, when I went for my scan last week they started with abdominal but offered internal and said that I would be able to see more, so I decided to just go for it and I'm glad I did! I'm normally very uncomfortable with things like that but decided I should start getting used to people poking around down there if a whole room is going to have to see it in 7 months time 😂 I got undressed behind a screen and was given a big piece of paper towel to wrap around my waist for privacy. The sonographer barely looked at me, was just looking at the screen, I was completely covered up, and it didn't hurt at all! And best of all was the fact that baby was twice as clear for me to see using internal scan!

@Marshmallow1102 that's really great thanks for that! I think it's transvaginal anyway but I guess we will see! So nervous but I get what your saying about letting people poke about it LMAO

@PocoyoandEllie glad I'm not alone, can't wait to hear how you get on. I pray for both of us we get the news we want lovely.

I'm so bloody nervous! I've been very bad today sickness wise. It comes in waves and I can't touch any recycling or bin stuff as I've nearly pucked twice. Also if I bend down to pick washing up I also feel a tad sick too! 🙈

Hope you don’t mind if I join! Just came across this thread and wow it’s so nice to see I’m not the only one feeling this way!
Surprise first pregnancy, unsure of date but mid December I think! Im almost the last of my friends to have kids and it’s so annoying not being able to talk to them as we want to keep it a secret until our scan....husband and I still getting our heads round it ourselves!
Hope everyone is keeping well and not been feeling too crap today. The food aversions are killing me, was sick after opening the fridge yesterday...it’s the weirdest thing ever!
