@Katbaby yes I've only had 2 since January last one was only a few days, but they told me they'd book a dating scan anyway before I told them that, is a dating scan not normal? I thought everybody had them so they knew how far they were 😂

Aww look at that scan @djmbaker so pleased everything is ok with baby. Sorry to hear about cyst, at least it shows that something was a bit wrong and trusting your instincts was right. Hope you feel better soon xx

I feel very bloated some days and fine other days. Boobs very sore and DH says they are definitely bigger! Booked our early scan for 23 May when I’ll be 8+3 - wanted to book it a week earlier but DH persuaded me to do it later when we’ll have more to see and less time to wait for the 12 week scan. Still no nausea at 5+5 - nervous it will kick in next week.

Here we go, this is better isn't it 🤦🏻‍♀️

I feel dreadful today, trying to think of what i can eat besides ready salted crisps 😩

They said I am about 6 - 6 and a half weeks they think x
I have irregular periods so it's been really hard to work out without a scan

I'm really rough today, nausea has been so awful. Had to fight sickness...

@Elmlee I would do anything to go to bed now I'm absolutely exhausted today 😓 another hour left at work then I'm using my last lush bomb and lying on the sofa for the rest of the night 😂 hope your feeling better soon xx

Just joining in and saying hello- I got my BFP a couple of weeks ago. I had my booking in app over the phone at the end of last week and been given an estimated due date of 15th December......12 week scan date is the 6th June which feels like an age away so thinking of booking a private scan for that little bit of early reassurance. Its good to have somewhere to go for advice and to hear other experiences, especially in this first 12 week stage where its only myself and my husband that know!!

Hi everyone :) I'm 8wks currently due 14th Dec but been told that might change once I've had my 12 week NHS scan. Which has been scheduled for 27th May when I'll be 11+2? 🤔 anyhoo.

I was thinking of you the other day but I didn't want to post in the old short luteal phase group as I didn't think it'd be appropriate 😔 so I'm glad I've found you on another thread. I had my scan yesterday measuring 7+6 and it was so surreal, it's put me 3 days ahead of where I thought so I really do think I implanted dead early like 7DPO or something x

I'm in my maternity leggings already at 7 weeks. This will be my 4th pregnancy (though only one living daughter) and I had a mmc in feb at 8 weeks so I dont think my uterus ever really went back to normal. I'm

Had pasta with a tomato sauce for lunch. I really fancied it. Tiredness and nausea have hit me hard but managed to do some marking today (I'm a teacher) and go for a 40 min walk with DH and DD. Now lying down again to recover!

How have you all had your booking appointments and how soon to the 8 weeks did you hear? I self referred to the hospital as my doctor surgery doesn't do it, they called and said I'd get a letter about the scan but I'm not sure how I get a midwife appointment? Will the hospital arrange this too? Maybe I'm just impatient as I'm only 6+3

Also, does anyone else feel really fat? I feel absolutely massive, my face, thighs and massive bloat belly. I don't think I've put on weight yet so is this normal? I don't think it helps with my lockdown roots, symptoms and hormones, I just feel hideous!

@Rnic1x my nips are sensitive but boobs are fine. Just feeling a little fuller again.

I made a carrot cake earlier (disaster I'm not a Baker by any stretch) and licked a bit of the cream cheese frosting off my finger and was dry heaving after that. Can't stand butter which is weird. Can only have bertolli spread on my toast. Ive sent hubby for another oven pizza for tea as it went down a treat last night and it's all I want.

My belly is sore but I've lost weight so although I'm smaller I feel heavier if that makes sense. Can only wear joggers cos waistbands hurt. Can't loose much more otherwise will be in underweight category so trying my best to eat little and often

@Ssammy my hospital self refer I did this and they called me with my appointment 2 days later for 2 weeks after but I changed it to 3 weeks after - appointment is tomorrow. Seem to be really good with getting people in. I feel vile, I haven't wore any make up or done my hair in like 7 weeks I prob should but I just CBA.

@katbaby aww your getting there though you've been wishing for sore nips ha! Yeah eat what you like pizza is always good xx

@Ssammy my booking in appointment isn’t until I’m 9+5. I rang up at 6 weeks and it was the earliest one that they had.

They have had to reduce the number of appointments to allow for full cleaning in between.
