Hi!
Just got my BFP this weekend.
I got my first faint positive Friday morning with an frer, and today it's much darker (11dpo)!

Leading up to my bfp, I've had icky feeling, tiredness, dizzy spells, headaches, cramps.
Not feeling as icky as with my last pregnancy yet though!
Provisional due date of 7th January using the NHS calculator.

Come and join once you've got your bfp for January 2021, for a few pregnancy pals!

@peach111 - glad it’s not just me! I think it’s a combination of having been trying for so long plus lockdown, which means it’s hard to distract myself. Ugh. I know rationally there’s nothing I can do, but I just want to click my fingers to 12 weeks whatever the outcome, rather than be in this endless panic.

@Carabu1 your right it's a combination of the lockdown and your history. Think about how stressed you were before your last scan and it was all ok. I know it is easy to say and I do feel your pain but u have to keep yourself busy so the days go faster, nap!?!?
Also there is no guarantee after 12weeks , if a miscarriage it is going to happen regardless of how far into pregnancy you are. Take everyday as a blessing and be content with what will be will be regardless of how many google searches we do.

I completely feel your pain tho, time is going sooo slowly. Trying to keep positive

@peach111 that is so exciting.
Can I ask what companies you use to book your early scans?

@CoalCraft that's fabulous news, so pleased for you. :)

@CoalCraft so excited that you got to see your baby's heart beating. It's a shame the doctor couldn't have investigated the bleeding more but I think any form of internal investigation may pose a risk to baby. But glad it's put your mind at rest somewhat. I do know people who have bled through the whole pregnancy so it isn't in heard of.

@Baba11 - you’re totally right - kick up the a* I needed today! Just got to grit my teeth and remind myself that 6 months ago I’d have given pretty much anything to be in this position!

Hi Ladies,

I got a BFP over the weekend and got the due date of 14th Jan 2021.

It'll be our first baby so feeling anxious, clueless, all sorts to be honest. I've been Googling all sorts.

I've self-referred and hoping I'll be able to take hubby to the first scan. I'm aware that the booking appointment may well be over the phone, but would've made the BFP even real if I was to go in for the appointment.

I've been feeling a bit tired, and tiny bit nauseous

@Quail15 I completely get you, I've had 2 miscarriages in 2 years and I'm now 43 so time is very much running out. I got a positive yesterday and as much as I want this baby I just feel down and worried about how I'm going to cope with another loss.

Hey, @missyogipatel (not sure if it tagged...) due date buddies!! First for me also, terrified and excited. Self referred yesterday morning as that’s what Babylon told me to do and just got the automated scan appointment invite, but I do hope a human will contact me eventually too!!

@Mumof4andahalf it's awful isn't it. Im almost expecting it to all end.
I feel like I won't let myself enjoy being pregnant until I get to the 12 week scan. Every time I say something about the new 'possible' baby I have to follow it up by 'IF everything goes well' 🙄

🤞 That we both have sticky embryos and all this worry is for nothing.

@Quail15 it isn't fair not to be able to enjoy it, fingers crossed for us both x

Window to the womb, I’ve heard positive things I’ve booked it for 10 weeks so that I can have my partner for support if things aren’t ok and also so the first time we see the little squiggle will be together and able to have a special moment ❤️❤️ I’ll let you all know how it goes

@missyogipatel @radio9998 snap! 14th Jan :) welcome to the group. All new to me too. Had a little rollacoaster of a few days (considering we only found out Friday evening and it's Tuesday!) feels like it's been months already!

Hi everyone,

So nice to find this group! I got my BFP a week ago and due date is predicted to be 14th Jan 2021!! :). I have been feeling fine except for the occasional cramps and sore breasts. I just wanted to ask if anyone here is experiencing bloating? My belly looks big and I look pregnant but I am aware you don't really show before 12 weeks so just a bit concerned, I am thinking its just bloating??

Report
Radio9998 · 19/05/2020 17:10

@dance2020 another 14 Jan buddy. Bloating for me as well (esp in second half of the day as I am doing 10-11 hour days WFH with a lot of sitting down) and also a remarkable new ability to break wind without my own knowledge (or sound). Not too frequent thankfully!

@Beautybake5 congratulations!! I have experienced a few twinges on one side and then the other at different times, along with lower back ache and tiredness. From what I have read and seen from others on here - twinges and aches and period like pains are all normal and from your body adapting and stretching. If you are worried thought I would call your gp or midwife x

@dance2020 yes to bloating & wind! Over the weekend was worse, seems to have eased a bit now.

@dance2020 congratulations!! I am also suffering with the bloating - after lunch it seems to happen until the next morning and it looks like a little belly but like you said it’s too early to be showing! Also the sore breasts and they have got bigger already. Xx
