@Allusernamesaretakenbutthisone I did 7 tests all strong positives but I went on google now I am fearing the worst! I tell myself it will all be ok but I am just so anxious - rationally I am sure I will be fine and sending everyone else super positive vibes! We will get through this and have our little ones in December

VWLolabunny9119 · 28/04/2020 21:17

I feel ok, bit bloated and have mild cramps most days. I've contacted my GP, and have been referred to a midwife to have an hour long video call for tomorrow. Not sure what to expect for that.

👋 everyone! Please can I join? Expecting our second on Boxing Day, but will be c-section so probably a bit earlier. Very few symptoms and feeling super nervous as I had a MMC at 7 weeks before we got our LO. Having a scan at 8 weeks but that still seems a looong way off! Hope everyone’s feeling Ok! x

Clackers89 · 29/04/2020 07:23

I'm really suffering with the cramps too. When I spoke to the GP they said if they are too bad you can take paracetamol, but to be honest I've just tried to ride them out.
Hope you're video call with the midwife goes well. I've got my scan at 10am. Feeling really nervous about it xx

Clackers89 · 29/04/2020 07:30

Hi. Hope you are OK and feeling well. Sorry to hear you previously suffered with a MMC.
I don't really have any symptoms at all and if I've calculated my dates correctly I should be due around the 13th December. Having a scan today as I had some spotting at the weekend. This is my 1st pregnancy and not really sure what to expect so every pain and twinge I am panicked by.
I know it's a wait but at least you can count down to that early scan at 8 weeks for some reassurance.
Hope you are doing OK x

Hjjo123 · 29/04/2020 07:39

Congrats all. 25th for me but if pregnancy all goes well it will probably be bit earlier as I have C sections.

Jasminex1 · 29/04/2020 08:05

Hi everyone! Congratulations to you all 🥰 hope I'm ok to join. This is my 1st pregnancy so it's nice to have some other FTMs to talk to!

@Clackers89 my cramps have been bad too, especially at night! I hope your scan goes well today, sending you lots of luck!

mumma2be96 · 29/04/2020 08:24

Hi all,
Just found out last night I'm expecting. Half planned, half a surprise. Due New Years Eve/New Years Day. So excited already, even though the queasy feeling is near constant Smile

Clackers89 · 29/04/2020 08:47

Hi lovely. Thank you for your good luck wishes. I'm super nervous. Just hoping everyone is OK. I'm suffering really bad anxiety with it all but trying to keep positive!
My cramps are a lot worse in the evenings too. I will ask about that today as not sure why that is xx

Jasminex1 · 29/04/2020 08:55

@Clackers89 I'm sure you'll be absolutely fine! I've seen lots to suggest it can be common early on, but best to double check which is why they've got you in 😊
Honestly I woke up early hours of the morning last week and had such an intense pain I could have cried!

I know it's early on but is anyone buying stretch mark cream/oil yet?😂 starting early to try and up my chances of avoiding them!

Whitey5 · 29/04/2020 15:41

How did you get on @Clackers89? I’ve literally just ordered some stretch mark cream. I’m honestly so bloated at the moment it feels like I’m growing already!! Impossible I know, but it’s probably wise to start with the skin care early Grin. Thanks for the reminder x

Clackers89 · 29/04/2020 15:46

Hi ladies
Everything went well thank you so much for all your well wishes. I've been dated at 7 weeks 1 day so due date 15th December. Baby doing fine and they found the heart beat. Such a huge relief. I really had convinced myself something was seriously wrong.

What cream did you guys go for? I think I need to get involved too xx

Jasminex1 · 29/04/2020 16:01

@Whitey5 @Clackers89 I was so bloated too which made me think about getting some early on! I went for Burts Bees Mama Bee belly butter and also the oil, so far so good!

Glad everything went well xx

Whitey5 · 29/04/2020 16:14

@Clackers89 what a relief! So pleased for you Smile hopefully that will put your mind at ease a little bit, although I feel like I’m gonna be a nervous wreck throughout!!
@Jasminex1 I love Burt’s Bees stuff, nearly got it myself but went for Mama Mio Tummy Rub instead! Glad it’s not just me feeling the bloat. Honestly my jeans are uncomfortable Blush xxx

Jasminex1 · 29/04/2020 16:18

@Whitey5 jeans are a solid no currently 😂 I managed to squeeze into mom jeans at the weekend because they're not too tight, but I think the rest are going to be redundant for the next year or so!!

Clackers89 · 29/04/2020 16:23

Haha same here @Whitey5 @Jasminex1.. No jeans for me for a while! When do you think it's too early to start buying maternity jeans? They actually look quite comfortable!

Thanks ladies. So so relived! Finally feel like can start to get a bit excited although I know my anxiety will still have a huge part to play. It's such an uncertain time isn't it. Especially with covid too.

Ohh by the way I didn't have a mask and when I got to the hospital and the maternity block they actually gave me one to wear. Not sure if doing the same in every hospital xxx

Jasminex1 · 29/04/2020 16:28

@Clackers89 I'm thinking bout buying them now!😂 I need to buy some sort of maternity trousers for work too, especially if we go back to work before my scan as I'll need to hide it and look normal! I think unbuttoned trousers might give it away 😂

I feel like the days are absolutely dragging, I just want the scan to be here!

Ssammy · 29/04/2020 16:31

Hi all,
I'm pregnant for the first time, due 25th December, planned pregnancy and we'd been trying for a few months. I had brown discharge last Wednesday until Monday where had bleeding, it seemed like loads from wiping but not enough to saturate a pad (sorry tmi) anyway I had an early scan yesterday he confirmed it wasn't ectopic but couldn't see a yolk sac or heartbeat and said it is an pregnancy of unknown viability at this stage and I need to go back in 2 weeks for anothet scan. I'm feeling really low and can't seem to think about anything else as I've convinced myself that its going to be abmiscarriage 😭 has anyone else had anything similar happen? I'm completely obsessed, I don't know how I'll wait 2 more weeks!

Clackers89 · 29/04/2020 16:31

I don't know where is best to buy them but have you seen new look currently has 20% off everything? I think I need some new bras too, mine are getting so uncomfortable.
So when is your due date? Xx

Clackers89 · 29/04/2020 16:42

Hi @Ssammy
Wish I could give you a big hug as I know exactly how scared and anxious you must be feeling right now.
I've been for an early scan today as I had the same issue. I had a brown discharge also where it wasn't soaking a pad but was there when I was wiping.
They've dated me at 7 weeks 1 day and from what they were saying if it was much earlier they would of had to bring me back too as if too early they aren't able to see anything.

I totally understand how you are feeling. I convinced myself I had also had a miscarriage too. I felt all these new pains I didn't have before and generally felt really low.
But just remember our bodies are going through a lot right now, and they've reassured me today that brown discharge is old blood so although you need to keep an eye on it, normally it isn't anything to worry about.

Really hope you're ok. Thinking of you as know how hard it is xxx

Jasminex1 · 29/04/2020 16:49

@Clackers89 I will have to have a look! One thing I haven't had (yet) is sore boobs, but I'm still thinking it will be a good idea to get some soon!

Midwife thinks I'll be 21st December, I don't know whether to feel excited or nervous that it's so close to Christmas!😂 when is yours?xx

Ssammy · 29/04/2020 16:49

Hi @Clackers89
Its reassuring to hear you had similar things going on and it's all positive now. I know what you mean about feeling (and reading into) ever little twinge. I don't think it helps that I don't really have any symptoms I don't want nausea etc but it would be nice to "feel" pregnant.
Yesterday for my scan I was only 5 +4 weeks so fingers crossed for a heartbeat at the next scan.
Its such a horrible waiting game, I thought the ttc stage was hard!
Also for stretch marks I've heard that mama mio tummy rub oil is great, pricey but worth it if it works xxx

Clackers89 · 29/04/2020 16:55

@Jasminex1 Yeah I've just started to find my bras feel really uncomfortable and a bit tight. Iso life isn't helping as I'm deffo over eating so isn't helping my waist line haha!
Think I might have to order some maternity jeans. I didn't want to tempt fate and get any before my 12 week scan but there's no way my old jeans are going to fit soon either haha xxx

Clackers89 · 29/04/2020 16:59

@Ssammy ohh the hours I have spent online searching for "what does it feel like if I'm having a miscarriage" "what does it mean if I have brown discharge during pregnancy" "what does it mean to have cramps during early pregnancy"... The list goes on and on!
Yes all you can do is keep positive and look after yourself. Hopefully the next couple of weeks will fly by and you'll have your next scan and everything will be fine Smile
Xxx

Clackers89 · 29/04/2020 16:59

@Jasminex1 know what you mean about the Christmas thing. They've dated me 7 weeks 1 day today so due on the 15th December xxx
