Christmas babies

Hey all, just got my bfp which puts me on course for a Christmas baby! According to my calendar it will be around 27th Dec but we'll get a better idea once we get the 12 week scan. I've already got a handsome 2 year old boy. ♥️Anyone else due à Christmas baby or fancy some pregnancy chat?

@Nic2908 yes I think I will order a week's one on amazon. Husband will go offit the amount I've spent on tests 🤣🤣

@Katbaby the test queen... You just made me order another clearblue to see if the weeks have gone up yet 😂

@ArjaD so DH has shot me down in flames he said no more test buying 😕 haha. I do have 1 frer left and 2 clearblue not digi tho so I might as well do those over the coming days. As to how far along I am going to have to be patient to find out haha.

@Katbaby luckily my DH isn't home for another week so he doesn't have a clue 😂

@EmmaDobs92 I’ve not had any symptoms yet and I reckon I’m 5 weeks tomorrow. This is my first pregnancy so don’t have past experience to go by. I am really tired but I also have a heart condition that makes me fatigued so hard to judge what could be pregnancy symptoms and what is just my normal health issues. I know it’s weird but I’m kind of hoping I get sickness or sore boobs soon so it feels more real. I just don’t feel particularly pregnant yet and I want to.

Eeeeeek, I have just book our early pregnancy can. It's going to be the longest three weeks to wait.... super excited but so anxious. Anyone else booking one?? How far will you be?

@Nic2908 I have. I've got an early scan booked two weeks tomorrow. I should get one on the nhs but due to COVID they have stopped them unless your bleeding 🙈
I had a MMC last year so I just want to check early on that everything is ok this time. 🙏🏻

@djmbaker yes it's our first. Didnt really expect the anxiety and worry. You just have no idea what your body is doing on the inside do you.

I have one booked 10th May and I'll be exactly 8 weeks! I'm so nervous and excited xxx

Once i started to have symptoms and feel "pregnant" there's like a weird switch that's gone off in my brain where I now worry about everything 😂 I'm only 5/6 weeks for god sakes!! I need to settle it down 🙈🙈 how are you feeling?

Hi ladies. It's lovely the read how everyone's day is going. Knowing that I'm not the only worrier here 🙈🤣 I've just found out my friend from school is 18 weeks pregnant! We last met up in November and she told me she'd miscarried that day. It was awful but I'm so happy that she's expecting again so I understand her keeping it to herself for so long ❤️ it's killing me not telling her I'm also pregnant! I'm 6+2 so way behind her but our babies will be 3 months apart which is nice to know xx

@djmbaker I would love a little window right now, I'm actually feeling really good, enjoying the niggles as its reassuring just so anxious as only 4 +3. Will be 7 +4 at our early scan.

@Jadey31 that is lovely! All being well there will be 5 months between my little one and my first nephew, and only 3 months between me and one of my best friends.

My mums been waiting about 15 years for a grandkid and two coming along in the same year

Sooo girls! I told my mum, who was absolutely thrilled and gutted she couldn't cuddle me. She cried with happiness it was a lovely moment. Don't feel as pregnant today if that's weird which is making me nervous though? Just feel like I've got trapped wind...

@Katbaby I don't think you will feel pregnant every day, don't worry. Trapped wind is a sign anyway.
That's so lovely how she reacted.. bless her. It's so shit isn't it that we can't hug our mums. Bless her she will be excited for you!! Do you feel good for telling her?
Anyone else bloat like a toad at night time??? Christ I look about 5 months pregnant in the evening not 5 weeks!!!

Yeah she was so so happy it was a lovely feeling. I also hadn't said the word pregnant out loud yet which was a strange but good feeling!

And yes I'm bloated like a creature! Rolling around like a whale and falling asleep on the sofa!

When are people telling the rest of their family and friends? Will people do it after ealry 8 week scans or still wait for 12 weeks?

@Katbaby hahaha that's so funny.. I'm the exact same! Ive had to order some new joggers like trousers today for when I return to work! My OH said tonight "Jesus your huge" ahhh thanks love 🙈

I think our plan is mums (even though mine knows 🙈) and our best friends after the 8 week scan.. and then everyone else after 12..

My clients are so bloody nosey and they've all known me since I was 21 (I'm 33 now) so they all know me inside out so I may not make it to 12 weeks with some of them!

@Katbaby @ArjaD you've enticed me to order one too🙈I haven't done one of those tests before and I'm really curious about how many weeks it'll say I am now. Could you post what your result is if your comfortable with it? I'd like to compare I'm due around the same week as you both

@Katbaby I knew you would 😂😂😂😂 hide them from hubby lol, intercept the postie 🤣 how lovely to read about your mum's reaction! I think I'll wait to see what's happening with lockdown as I'd like to be able to tell people face to face if I can.

I feel bloated the whole day atm!! Honestly I've just started to wear my maternity trousers because a/ I remembered how SUPER comfy they were from my first bump, and b/ may as well get your money's worth 😂😂😂

@djmbaker well luckily I don't have to worry about work colleagues as I don't think I'll be back at work til at least June so should be around 12 weeks then anyway! I've had a walk with the dog tonight and it's settled my bloat a bit.

@GeeHO98 absolutely! They are getting delivered from amazon tomorrow so I'll hold my pee for a bit and do tomorrow afternoon/evening and post results! Will you post yours too!? We can compare.

@ArjaD he had no choice as I said to my mum in front of him--oh he won't let me waste any more money on tests when it's clear I'm pregnant so my mum said no that's fine ill send you the money 🤣🤣🤣 she's offered to pay for our early scan as well. This is going to be a spoilt baby I think!

Am I the only one on here who has literally tested twice and that’s it? I just don’t see the point on keep weeing on money, I must be boring 😆

Thanks @Nic2908 for pointing me in direction of this thread. BFP a couple of days ago, with a due date of 28/12. 36 y.o, first preg. Basically terrified!! 😅

I've only tested once on a frer so one extra test isn't really peeing on money for me, I mean I know I'm definitely pregnant but I'd like to try a clear blue week Indicator while I've got the chance after seeing all the fuss. I won't be doing anymore though I think my partner would snatch my bank card if I ordered anything else during this lockdown😂
