@Bluebell2020 I think I do too, it's very tiny, but just different.

I am fed up, been home for almost two months now, I just leave to walk the dogs, exercise sometimes and go food shopping. All the news, everyone talking about it...I'm just tired of it all. Cannot wait until we can start slowly get back to normal.

Hancock2020 · 18/04/2020 11:39

@BuffaloCauliflower I know that feeling. Its literally the same s**t every day, my routine is get up, avoid mother, eat toast, walk, eat, mother Invades personal space, eat, watch tv, bed.
EVERY DAY! being confined to just 1 room is messing my head up.

SqidgeBum · 18/04/2020 11:41

I definitely have a bump. Hubbie even had a feel today and said it was 'pretty solid', although this is my second baby. I noticed a bump on my first at about 13 weeks, but didn't properly show til about 16 weeks. By 20 weeks I was huge.

Hancock2020 · 18/04/2020 11:41

I didn't want to put a downer on the thread, I just needed to get it off my chest

BuffaloCauliflower · 18/04/2020 11:44

@Hancock2020 it’s not a downer, it’s good to get it out. I’m sorry your mother is being a pain. Is that why you need to be in one room?
I keep saying ‘tomorrow I’ll get moving’ and then tomorrow comes and I’m a slug again!

Natopp · 18/04/2020 11:48

@Hancock2020 yep!! Big time! Very fed up and I'm still in my pj's because I just can't be bothered with anything today. Feel so guilty as I'm actually very lucky given everything going on. But yes, today isn't a good day.

@MoreGinPlease2020 haha maybe if I try this mine will disappear too Blush

Pippop21 · 18/04/2020 11:50

@anxiouslady yes thats true, just cant shack the mood, havent been able to from the off!

@Hancock2020 every time i post its because im on a downer so dont worry about it haha i feel like im the "oh god here she comes with her wows again" poster of the group i literally nothing positive to say lately lol xxxx

Pippop21 · 18/04/2020 11:50

Shake*

jeleigh · 18/04/2020 11:52

I’m just recieved a letter which says I need to go see a consultant

SqidgeBum · 18/04/2020 11:52

I second feeling fed up. DD is just so bored and frustrated being stuck in, she is getting way too much tv time but we have exhausted all the crafting a 16 month can do, DH is getting sick of housework and cooking, we are starting to snap at each other over tiny things like he doesnt do the hoovering right or I dont tidy up the sitting room fast enough. I have no motivation to do anything, and I feel like an awful parent and awful wife. It's hard on everyone. I think you would struggle to find someone who doesnt want it to just go back to normal.

jeleigh · 18/04/2020 11:53

Sorry pressed post before I finished.
Just got a letter to see a consultant a couple of weeks after my scan. Does anyone know what this could be about? I’m panicking as I haven’t had anything back about my blood results from a midwife, and I was told I was low risk. I’m absolutely beside myself with worry now

MoreGinPlease2020 · 18/04/2020 11:54

@Pippop21 I think most of us come on here for moan or reassurance of some kind, so please don't think anyone thinks anything bad about it.

Not sure that even made sense. 😂

Hancock2020 · 18/04/2020 11:54

@ BuffalloCauloflower it's me my DH and my mother all in a 1 bed flat, so me and DH are trying to stay sane in the bedroom and mum has the living room/kitchen area with her annoying dog.
We moved in to save a house deposit, and we were so close then all this virus stuff happened and now we just dont know if we can even do it now. Buying the house was the only thing getting me through.
I love my mum, but I dont like the person she is if that makes sense.

littlegem84 · 18/04/2020 11:59

@hancock2020 if anything you might be I. A better position as it sounds like you don’t have a chain. I bet the estate agents will be clambering at your door and you might be able to go in a bit lower with an offer as I doubt much is moving at the mo. I know most estate agents are doing virtual viewings and stuff at the mo so fingers crossed for you 😀

Hancock2020 · 18/04/2020 12:02

Our issue is still only having a small deposit, we were looking at getting a 95% LTV mortgage but they have all been withdrawn. But we have to get it before baby arrives or theres no chance at all but now its looking like we will have to do help to buy which we didn't want to do.

SqidgeBum · 18/04/2020 12:03

Ye @Hancock2020 I imagine after this it will be a buyers market. I think prices will drop and people will become desperate to move so will accept lower offers. We have had thoughts of selling our house and moving back to my family in Ireland but if we do we think we will have to accept a low price for it.

BuffaloCauliflower · 18/04/2020 12:06

@Hancock2020 I completely join you in that worry. We’re also saving with the aim to buy next year, and need a 95% mortgage too. Though I’ve looked at a few criteria’s and many say if you’re in maternity leave they will take your pre-maternity salary for affordability. This might be the case for you? We won’t have saved enough before baby comes so will need to be next year whatever happens. We’re in a very expensive area we want to stay in for lots of reasons so we’re quite restricted

BuffaloCauliflower · 18/04/2020 12:07

@Hancock2020 I also think 95% mortgages may come back next year. I’m relying on it anyway!

BuffaloCauliflower · 18/04/2020 12:07

@Pippop21 I hope your scan goes well x

ParisInTheSpringtime · 18/04/2020 12:10

@Hancock2020 we had an offer in on a house just before this all started, but we pulled out because we weren’t sure what was going to happen with the market. When this is all over we are hoping our money will go a bit further (we have a 10% deposit but are buying in London - so expensive).

rainbows20 · 18/04/2020 12:10

Hello,

I am new to MN, I have enjoyed reading everyone's post. I am 9 weeks tomorrow due 22nd November. This is my first pregnancy.

It has helped reading I am not alone feeling unmotivated to do anything. I have been so tired and actually worried about going back to work for how I will cope.

I really admire those of you who are pregnant and have little ones to look after. Where do you find your energy.

I have had a telephone booking appointment but awaiting a date for my scan.

Looking forward to chatting with you all Smile

ParisInTheSpringtime · 18/04/2020 12:17

Welcome and congrats @rainbows20

Hancock2020 · 18/04/2020 12:17
