@MommyPum I have no nausea either at 5+4! How far are you?x

MommyPum · 24/04/2020 20:04

I'm 6+2

leblondie · 24/04/2020 20:20

@MommyPum @Jasminex1 I feel you both...I’m desperate to feel nauseous but I know I’ll wish I hadn’t said that if I get it back 😂 I’m 5+4

Lily501 · 24/04/2020 20:35

The nausea only really started for me these last couple of days! Had none at all before...I haven't actually been sick yet though, 7+3 now.

I'm biased but I'm so excited about having a December baby too!

xx

ElsaCC · 24/04/2020 20:36

I'm 6+2 too and haven't felt any nausea yet. but cramps are almost constant and my breasts are incredibly sore!

Jasminex1 · 24/04/2020 21:32

@leblondie I'm sure I'll be wishing it away when it finally comes! We must have the same est due date!

@Lily501 that's reassuring, I keep thinking why don't I have it yet 😂 me too!

@ElsaCC I'm with you on the cramps, sometimes they wake me up in the night and I have to pace around! No sore boobs though, another thing I'm not so patiently waiting for

ElsaCC · 24/04/2020 21:36

@Jasminex1 exactly the same!! When it's not the cramps it's with dreams and nightmares that wake me up really startled. I can remember the dream for a second and then it's gone Hmm
Anyone else having weird and vivid dreams? Could it because of the hormones?

jtc19 · 25/04/2020 03:40

@ElsaCC I've also been having really bad nightmares than terrify me woke up from a nap shaking a few days ago, I'm 8+2 and my nausea has started to subside but I do have anti sickness prescribed by doctor incase it comes back I really struggle with it in the beginning, now I've got the constant bad taste in my mouth that just won't go no matter what I do x

Jasminex1 · 25/04/2020 06:28

@ElsaCC I do get some rather teenage dreams too!

Cramps seem to be getting worse, just woken up by them. This time I felt like I was going to be sick and pass out at the same time which has made me really nervous 😞

Jasminex1 · 25/04/2020 06:28

*strange dreams!!

EveningReflection · 25/04/2020 10:40

Hi,

I'm new here and just wondering if anyone is struggling to make contact with a midwife. I guess maybe it's because of Covid?

I did a self referral on 6th April and I still haven't spoken to anyone. I missed a call on Thursday from a midwife. I keep my phone on silent often because I care for my mum who has Alzheimer's and she gets agitated when my phone is constantly going off! The lady didn't leave a number or call back. Yesterday I called the only number I had but it was more of a switchboard and the lady I spoke to took my details down wrong I think (I never received the email she said she copied me into!).

I'm feeling a bit desperate now, it's been the longest 2 weeks of my life. I'm 38 and it's my first. I'm 8 weeks now and I've been feeling terrible. All day dizzy (everything spinning and legs like jelly) and feeling like I'm going to throw up all day, with terrible acid reflux. I'm struggling to look after my mum.

Jasminex1 · 25/04/2020 11:09

@EveningReflection I've had trouble with them too. I still had to refer through my gp, called them 3 times now after being told to call back if I don't hear anything. I've now been told I'm on the midwifes list for a call Wednesday but I just have this feeling that it's not going to happen again!

rooarsome · 25/04/2020 16:29

I went to my booking in appointment as planned a few weeks ago. They did half the booking then and said they would phone to complete the rest and book in my 12week scan. I've still heard nothing and I've phoned several times for another reason with no response

viixie · 26/04/2020 10:41

I went to the toilet this morning and had light pink mucus when I wiped, has anyone else experienced this? I'm 6+4 Thankyou

Pettirosso · 26/04/2020 11:15

Hi @viixie. I had a little bit of very light pink spotting when I was around six weeks pregnant in my first pregnancy.

I find websites such as Tommy’s really helpful with what to do when you notice these things, so check that out.

As with so much in early pregnancy, it seems to be a matter of taking it one day at a time and keeping everything crossed. You can call your midwives line or the early pregnancy unit at your local hospital. I had some unusual pains yesterday and ended up phoning 111 and speaking to an out of hours gp which really helped me.

Wishing you all the best. Xx

PBailey20 · 26/04/2020 11:29

Hey, how's everyone feeling today. I've been in bed all weekend with really extreme vomiting and nausea. I've not been able to keep a single item of food down and feel really unwell. This is my first pregnancy so not sure if this is normal or not. I honestly don't know what to do. I've tried eating plain food but it's not making any difference. X

MommyPum · 26/04/2020 11:39

Hey @vih

MommyPum · 26/04/2020 11:43

@viixie I've experienced the same and everything is still fine. Get checked out if you're unsettled. Try be positive and relax. So many changes are happening in your body.

Whiffle77 · 26/04/2020 12:32

Hi @PBailey20 if you aren't keeping anything down, I would contact a doctor. You might have something called hyperemesis gravidum, if so they will be able help with advice and medication to make you feel much better. Don't suffer in silence, hope you feel much better soon 💞 and baby should be fine in there too don't worry, they are very resilient xx

Whiffle77 · 26/04/2020 12:33

Also @PBailey20 there is a long running thread on here with lots of tips to feel better and keep some liquids down

jtc19 · 27/04/2020 04:02

@viixie I had the same at 6weeks for about 3 days just light pink spotting, my midwife said it was normal x

littletandme · 27/04/2020 07:55

Hi ladies, unfortunately there was no heartbeat at our early scan yesterday, so I’ve removed myself from the December babies fb group. Hopefully one of the other ladies will pop on here and point anyone in the direction of who to message to join. Wishing you all happy and healthy pregnancies x

RunnerGirl123 · 27/04/2020 08:44

So sorry to hear this @littletandme I hope you're being well looked after.

Whiffle77 · 27/04/2020 10:51

Oh no I'm so sorry @littletandme hope that you are ok. Take it easy and look after yourself, make sure you give yourself enough time to recover.

jtc19 · 29/04/2020 00:23

@littletandme I'm so sorry to hear that, I wish you the best please stay well and take it easy xx
