@YahBasic we will also be waiting for the twelve week scan and then telling people as I’m also worried peoples reactions will be of concern rather than joy! Especially when they know I’m still working!!

Today I started feeling a bit nauseous this morning and I’m really lightheaded!

We haven't told anyone either yet... I know it's all doomy gloomy but I'm so, so worried about ectopic because of the bleeding I had early on, so don't want to deliver good news before we're really sure.

I'm looking for a really good fitness program to follow too! I was never uber fit or went to the gym or anything but have always spent the day moving around and on my feet so don't want to turn into a big couch potato - especially given lockdown circumstances... Cake

Going to look into early preg yoga later, but would be v interested in hearing recommendations first if any of you have started some that you like

Hope everyone's feeling ok today!

YahBasic · 18/04/2020 14:42

I’ll give RWL a go tomorrow and let you know. They split it out by trimester & the first trimester has full body workout, barre, yoga and Pilates options.

Hoping between that, a light cycling session and eating less chocolate, I can drop 5kg and feel less sluggish.

Whiffle77 · 18/04/2020 14:42

Body coach has a couple of YouTube pregnancy videos which are ok. Someone else mentioned babyfit by bodyfit Amy on youtube too - I have had a look at those but not tried any of them. I have a beach body membership and they have a few good pregnancy ones too.
To be honest though most of what you have done before you should be able to do now, you just might need some modifications. It's good to do some pregnancy workouts tho as it teaches you what to avoid and to concentrate on how you are feeling!

Whiffle77 · 18/04/2020 14:43

What is RWL @YahBasic that sounds interesting?

YahBasic · 18/04/2020 14:45

@Whiffle77 it used to be branded as Results with Lucy as it was fronted by Lucy Mecklenburgh from TOWIE. Think it is now Results Wellness Lifestyle.

I pay £8.99 per month for the app, and it has some brilliant options for home workouts as well as a recipe bank.

She has just had a baby so developed a lot of pregnancy workouts. I think they have been live streaming free ones on Facebook if you want to have a look before committing to paying.

@bassbeh17 yeah I've really gone off things, things I normally enjoy just don't taste right even my beloved orange Fanta taste off🥴

Hey ladies,

Looking for some advice. I am 6 weeks and 5 days, Iv been spotting on and off this week and I phoned the EPU today. They have booked me in for Monday morning for a check, but I'm worrying so much. The midwife didn't really say anything of what it could be if it was normal or not or what would happen in the appointment.

Can brown spotting be normal on and off with slight cramping?
Will I have a scan in my appointment?

Any info/advice will be much appreciated!

Thank you

jtc19 · 18/04/2020 18:53

Hey I've also had on and off spotting for about 4 days I was told it was normal so haven't worried too much x @lma00015

lma00015 · 18/04/2020 19:40

@jtc19 Thank you! I have everything crossed and hope Monday comes quickly! X

Jadey31 · 18/04/2020 20:12

@Beccarans89 hey 👋🏻 how do I join the Facebook group? I assume that if I join it'll be private so no one on my friends list can see that I've joined it? I thought I saw a link to the group the other day but I can't find it now 🙈 xx

Pucialace · 18/04/2020 20:47

@littletandme hey! I've seen a few posts about a FB group - how do I send you my details to join the group? No idea how far I am gone, I'm either 7 weeks or 11 weeks as I've had some spotting (had checked and was all ok) but now I come to think about it, my 'period' month before was the exact same! I have been in touch with midwives and have to call them on Monday to arrange first appointment. First time pregnancy :)

Poppyholland · 18/04/2020 20:51

@littletandme I'm really interested in being in your fb group! I'm 6+5 weeks pregnant and due on the 7th December.. would love some people to talk to about the same stuff we are all going through! X

littletandme · 18/04/2020 20:59

@Pucialace @Poppyholland you need to message me through the web version of Mumsnet with the email you use for fb Smile

littletandme · 18/04/2020 21:00

@Jadey31 yes it's a private group

Jadey31 · 18/04/2020 22:03

@littletandme I've just sent you a message xx

LuLaLaLa · 19/04/2020 14:39

Arghhh more spotting, cramping and some red blood yesterday. Today is just spotting. It has been light which I’m taking to be a good thing but I really don’t know. About 7 weeks pregnant. I never had any of this with my first at all. I phoned EPU which is closed and said to call back tomorrow or go to a&e. It’s not heavy enough for a&e and I think given the current situation they would send me home to call epu tomorrow.

I’m starting to get concerned about ectopic as the cramping is in my left hand side and it can be very sharp shooting type pains at times. Arghhh need to try and not stress

Jasminex1 · 19/04/2020 17:14

@littletandme I've sent you a message x

Whiffle77 · 19/04/2020 17:49

Sorry to hear that @LuLaLaLa are you going to try and get into EPU tomorrow? Did you mention the pains in your side? I'm sure it's nothing but worth mentioning anyway. Hope you don't get any more bleeding

LuLaLaLa · 19/04/2020 22:40

@Whiffle77 thank you. Things have calmed down tonight so I’m trying not to stress too much

Lily501 · 20/04/2020 11:57

How are things today @LuLaLaLa? Thinking of you xx

Jasminex1 · 20/04/2020 12:32

I've just been on the phone to my GP, they said that the midwife doesn't usually give you a call until you're about 8 weeks. Is this normal? It seems quite a long time but not really sure what to expect x

Whiffle77 · 20/04/2020 12:34

Yes that's normal @Jasminex1 - between 8-10 weeks and then scan 12-13
