@Talcott2007 just pm me your email address

HarrietM87 · 05/04/2020 14:04

My booking appt is over the phone when I’ll be 8+6 and they said they’d book the scan after the appointment. Not sure when I’ll go in to get the bloods taken but assume they’ll tell me that on the phone.

FireflyGirl · 05/04/2020 14:16

@Wise0wl I think it varies depending on your trust, but the midwife called and booked my scan during my (in person) booking appointment.

Glad it was good news, @Addler.

Wise0wl · 05/04/2020 15:09

Thanks all. I’ll wait and see at my appt (which I think is by phone)! It’s annoying because I love to plan so I’d like it in the diary (despite having nothing else in there for the foreseeable because of lockdown 😂)

FilthyforFirth · 05/04/2020 16:52

Hi @canueve I am also in Hampshire and booked to Reading Window to Womb for early scan when I am 7+5. How did you find it? Was DH allowed to attend? I am only 6+3 so over a week to go.

wannabebump · 05/04/2020 18:07

My scan is booked for when I will be 11+4. I got that date/letter when I went to my booking in appointment. At booking in, the nurse struggled to get blood though so mine won't get done again until the scan - which worries me something could be missed now?
Already been told DH can't get come to the scan. Dropped several hints about a private scan but DH doesn't see the need and I can't convince him otherwise. We could have had a scan today... 😭

MissSparkles81 · 05/04/2020 18:15

Ive just had a bleed and im terrified that its another MC(miscarriage). Im 7+1 today and literally went to the toilet about an hr ago and nothing and then was getting changed into pjs when I noticed it. I would say that it was a medium amount ... definitely not spotting.

It seems to have eased off now but im so gutted that I am going to have to go through the farce of having to get in touch with the epu tomorrow again. My care was so badly managed last time that I ended up putting a complaint in.

I just feel numb just now ... cant believe that this could be happening again

FireflyGirl · 05/04/2020 18:31

Flowers @MissSparkles81. Bleeding doesn't automatically mean it's another miscarriage, but I know how worrying it must be. I've got everything crossed for you!

calimommy · 05/04/2020 19:45

@MissSparkles81 I understand your feelings. I had two back to back and I was both gutted and fuming.
However if you don't have clots or bad cramping then it might not be anything to worry about. Contact the unit tomorrow and see how it goes. Drink lots of water. X

canueve · 05/04/2020 20:44

@FilthyforFirth it's not in the greatest part of reading tbh, but when you are in they are very lovely and nice. We were the only ones there (yes, my husband did attend) and only saw another person come in as we were leaving.
I was positively surprised and will be going back a couple more times for sure.

I checked today their website and they are still accepting + 1 person.

Addler · 05/04/2020 21:19

Thank you everybody, DP and I have been in a bit of a giddy state of shock all day. It still doesn't feel real, but I can't put into words how relieved I am. I really really thought it was gone. I feel incredibly lucky.

Lorenzo3000 · 06/04/2020 08:09

Anyone else's symptoms eased off? My sickness and nausea have all but gone, boobs feel normal etc. Just in need of a nap come 2pm everday (like clockwork). I had a bleed over the weekend, however midwife seemed unconcerned as there was no pain or clots.

SqidgeBum · 06/04/2020 08:13

@Lorenzo3000 my MS has definitely eased over the past few days. I keep waiting for it to return but it hasn't. Its still there a bit, just a slight nausea, but not like it was. I am quite tired, and am pretty bloated by midday, but other than that I have no other symptoms. I am very surprised as I puked every day from week 6 to 14 with DC1.

excitednerves · 06/04/2020 08:39

Hi. I’m new! 6 weeks +5. So far feeling ok but this is number 2 for me and I’m permanently exhausted anyway so I don’t know if I’m just unaware of any symptoms yet ha ha

Booking on 5th May when I’ll be 10 weeks

Fouryearslater · 06/04/2020 08:43

Absolutely not @Lorenzo3000, puked this morning before I could have my anti sickness pills. I really want to call in sick but have two colleagues off this week so can’t really.

MissSparkles81 · 06/04/2020 09:03

So managed to get the through to the epu and they cant scan me till wednesday at 12 and sadly my bf isnt able to come in with me.

Ive had spotting every time I wipe. Its not alot and its kinda going dark brown so hoping thats a good sign that as last time the bleeding continued and got heavier.

ACatCalledLola · 06/04/2020 09:34

@Lorenzo3000 I’m 9+2 today and have felt a lot better for the last couple of days. Still got sore boobs but the nausea has eased off a bit. Of course I spent most of last night worrying about it!
Sorry you have to wait @MissSparkles81. I hope the bleeding stops and you get good news on Wednesday.

HarrietM87 · 06/04/2020 09:44

My nausea hasn’t been so bad recently either. Last weekend was the worst it’s been (I was 7+4/5 though then measured ahead so would have been 8 weeks according to that), then felt fine (and so worried!) Mon and Tues, horrendous Weds and Thurs, then a bit better over the weekend. Boobs still sore and I’m very hungry and tired. Sickness gets worse as the day goes on so I think it’s linked to tiredness. Naps are a good idea!

LozEliza · 06/04/2020 09:46

@ACatCalledLola I'm 8+6 today and praying I'm like you from 9 weeks. My nausea was the worst ever yesterday and I threw up so bad last night 😞.

Lorenzo3000 · 06/04/2020 09:47

Thanks all. It's reassuring to hear some of you are feeling similar! I hate the wait to the 12 weeks scan! My 4 year old keeps telling me I have a 'big fat tummy' so I'm taking that as a positive sign hahaha

ACatCalledLola · 06/04/2020 09:51

Well I spoke too soon. I had literally just typed the post and then I had to run upstairs to be sick. I’ve never actually been sick in pregnancy before despite feeling constantly sick so I didn’t expect that to happen! My nausea is usually worse in the afternoon and evening too. I’m not going to be happy if it starts with throwing up in the morning from now on!

burntpinky · 06/04/2020 10:32

Mine are worse - almost puking - but I think its common for them to come and go and I felt sick all way up to 9.5 weeks in the pregnancy we lost even though it had stopped developing just after 6 weeks or so so I’m not convinced loss of symptoms or severe symptoms mean anything, at least not for my body anyway!

canueve · 06/04/2020 10:42

I haven't been sick yet, but the past few days I have this minor nausea just hanging in the back and a lot of foods don't appeal to me anymore.

Is anyone feeling food aversions at the moment? Nothing particular, I just open the fridge and can't bear to look at some of the things there.

SqidgeBum · 06/04/2020 10:54

@canueve all food is an issue for me. I only eat because I know I have to. I hate the fridge, the cabinets, and the worst is photos on facebook. My nausea has gone down, but I have an aversion to all food.

wafflewafflewaffle · 06/04/2020 11:30

@SqidgeBum I am exactly the same, I can’t stand the sight/thought/smell of any food. I dry heave or sometimes have to run to throw up every time I open the cupboards or the fridge, sometimes even just going into the kitchen triggers it. Making meals for my toddler (and changing his dirty nappies!) has become a real challenge, and my DH has been cooking his own dinner after I’ve gone to bed each night because he’s so bored of only having the super bland food I can handle at the moment Blush.
