Hi all,

I'm jumping the gun a little with this as I'm pregnant and found out earlier than a missed period (it's 3 days away)

I had a miscarriage at the start of February so I'm terrified, but trying to be optimistic all will be okay. My lines are getting darker, which they didn't do last time.

Anyone else due in December?

Hello all - i'm hoping I can be added to this but my period is 5 days late but my tests are still showing negative - can this happen if you're pregnant?
I'm now on day 32 of what is usually a 27/28 day cycle.
We've been trying for 2 years to conceive so I really hope we are... but just want to be out of limbo.
I also have an odd, gentle rumble in my tummy A LOT which is new and strange - is this related in anyway?

Clemmie83 · 26/03/2020 09:49

@Kirsty010488 Fingers crossed for you! I know what it's like to be trying a long time. I've also been having a rumble in my stomach...don't know if that's a symptom or not? 🤷🏻‍♀️

mini84 · 26/03/2020 09:49

@Kirsty010488
I had a similar sensation! After a few days I wondered if it might have been something going on and then tested and I got a positive.
I didn't think to test until a few days later so hopefully you'll get that positive soon!

Kirsty010488 · 26/03/2020 09:56

@clemmie83 thank you, are you pregnant also? Im just stopping myself getting too excited as i'm just getting negatives.
I'm going to get a proper clearblue test today and check for the next few days.... Wish me luck

Kirsty010488 · 26/03/2020 09:58

@mini84 - did you really... it seems weird its connected but its defo started the last couple of days. I'll leave it today and try again with the first wee tomorrow then maybe try leave it till Monday.... I really hope I do.
Although of all the times to get pregnant right now doesn't seem ideal... but i'll be overjoyed none the less.

Clemmie83 · 26/03/2020 10:11

@Kirsty010488 yes I found out on Monday after 15 months of trying and feeling like it would never happen! Wishing you all the luck in the world! Xx

Kirsty010488 · 26/03/2020 10:16

@clemmie83 oh wow so happy for you!
My best friend is actually called Clemmie so i'm hoping you're a good sign to my good news too.
Best of luck with your pregnancy

savethewales · 26/03/2020 10:22

I've attached some pics of my tests, just for peace of mind and for people to compare if they'd like to!

Image of the cheap internet ones, last done today 14dpo. Then boots, today's is at the bottom.

Hi @Beccarans89, @Clemmie83 & @adfb

@savethewales I wouldn't worry just yet, as tossacoin1 said it could just be time of day you poas.

Does anyone wear a fitness tracker? I've been (obsessively!) checking my daily resting heart rate on my fitbit. Its gone up to about 81 from 68. It ranged around 79-82 with my last

anonymouse · 26/03/2020 10:35

oh wow just realised I missed an entire page of posts!

anonymouse · 26/03/2020 10:40

Hi @mini84 & @Kirsty010488

@Kirsty010488- is it a bit like bubbles or popping? That's how I've 'known' with my pregnancies. I had it with my first & again this time.

mini84 · 26/03/2020 10:49

Hi @anonymouse
I never thought to track heart rate at this time but just checked and it has gone up. Why is that?
Mine is always under 50, usually 42-45 but it's now averaging at 50 with last few days 52!

Beccarans89 · 26/03/2020 10:51

Morning all, hope everyone is good today! That's so strange that you've mentioned the tummy rumbling and sort of popping sensation, I had exactly the same!

@savethewales try not to worry lovely, hormones go through peaks and troughs and if it reassures you, even the day after my period was due and I hadn't come on I took a test and it was so faint I thought it was negative! Even 4 days later they were still faint and have only got darker in the last couple of days. Maybe leave it another day or 2 and then get a clear blue one that says the words? I found it really hard to not look into the faint lines until I saw the word come up saying Pregnant! I've done 2 of those since xx

@anonymouse I didn't even think about checking my Fitbit for heart rate, uh oh that's me distracted for the day now haha xx

anonymouse · 26/03/2020 10:53

@mini84 It's because your heart pumps more blood during pregnancy.

Kirsty010488 · 26/03/2020 10:59

@anonymouse its hard to describe but its just a low rumble, but like there is activity. Hope its not my mind playing tricks on me....
I'm getting a proper clear blue test today and hopefully will know without doubt in the next few days.
How long do I leave it till I just assume its not - surely if i'm 10 days late and still getting negatives I can assume i'm not?

CharlieB93 · 26/03/2020 11:16

@ChampooPapi I hope this doesn’t come across as weird, but I was trying to pass time by looking at positive threads (such as this one) and it made me so happy to see your news. We were both on the original May 2020 thread (not sure if you remember me) I’m so sorry to hear of what happened in October I didn’t know, I did wonder if you had just come off Mumsnet. But I just wanted to say a massive congratulations to you for your news 😊 xxx

ChampooPapi · 26/03/2020 11:31

@CharlieB93 I remember you too! This is absolutely the opposite not 'weird' it's bloody brilliant!

What a kind and thoughtful message to receive, Im sure I don't deserve it 😆. Thank you so much for taking the time to respond on here, it means so much more then anything I could write back could convey, truly.

So how many weeks are you now? I hope your ok in yourself and wow, you must be feeling a lot more movement these days. I'm sorry I never returned to the thread, I went for my 12 week scan and had bad news obviously but didn't want to put it on the thread as I knew how anxious people were about their scans and it would not have helped having someone pop on to say it was exactly the the worst thing to expect basically.

How are all the other ladies doing? When are you due? I was may the 4th

All the best to you ❤️😘

CharlieB93 · 26/03/2020 12:06

@champoopapi Ahh I didn't want to look like a strange stalker haha!

Its really made my day seeing your post especially with all the rubbish that's going on in the world at the moment! I can completely understand you not coming back to the thread, I did have a little inkling that maybe something was amiss but also I understand that people tend to fall out of love with speaking on forums!

I'm nearly 33 weeks now - part of me is ready to have it over and done with and another part wants the baby to stay put were she is safe! Its very scary to not know what situation shes going to be born into in two months time!

How many weeks are you now? How exciting, a Christmas baby! My OH's birthday is in December and he loves it as people are always in the mood to celebrate (lol)

So lovely to hear from you again ❤️

savethewales · 26/03/2020 12:24

@tossacoin1@anonymouse I'm starting to wonder if it's those super dark outliers that are putting me off as everything else is fine! Maybe a funny batch of frer as they are so dark for the time period. I'm glad you're all doing well and it's so nice that people are making contact again!!!

Hi everyone! I hope you don't mind me joining. I got my bfp this week and should be due the start of Dec too! This is my first pregnancy so it will be reassuring and helpful to me to be in a group with you all experiencing the same and similar things Smile.
Hi @tossacoin1 we were speaking in the conception group Smile. I still haven't told my parents yet but will brave it at the weekend I think. I think they will be worried about the cv situation too 👎🏻

Beccarans89 · 26/03/2020 17:04

Congratulations @crazycatlady2788 it is my first pregnancy too and it is definitely reassuring to be chatting to others! How have you been feeling?

tossacoin1 · 26/03/2020 17:05

@CrazyCatLady2788 hey!! Welcome Grin it's nice to have a group we can all talk and support each other. You'll have to let me know how it goes, I'm sure they will be sooo happy and then concern will come after. Oh I spoke to dh and he said if he can't come to scan we will do a private one so thanks for mentioning that 🙂

CrazyCatLady2788 · 26/03/2020 17:23

@Beccarans89 aww thank you!! Congratulations to you too! On the whole I've felt ok. Had sore boobs mainly and the odd cramp here and there. I think the cramps have worried me a little bit but I know they are normal 🙈 Have you been ok?

@tossacoin1 aw thanks I hope so - I'll let you know how it goes 🤣 And that's great about the scan. I think it's important that the DHs feel included and can be a part of it 😊 It's lovely that we can stay in touch 😊

Beccarans89 · 26/03/2020 17:38

@crazycatlady2788 thank you!! Yes pretty much the same, sore boobs and I've been sleeping a lot more but not too bad other than that! It's hard being off work at the moment as I'm more aware of every slight feeling but hopefully we can all reassure each other!! ☺️

@savethewales how are you doing? Xx
