Hi all,

I'm jumping the gun a little with this as I'm pregnant and found out earlier than a missed period (it's 3 days away)

I had a miscarriage at the start of February so I'm terrified, but trying to be optimistic all will be okay. My lines are getting darker, which they didn't do last time.

Anyone else due in December?

@ChampooPapi honestly I feel like a crazy lady; my boots version of the frer is maybe a tad darker than yesterday I think but a thicker line. I'm also using those cheap ones off Amazon but they seem crap; they're meant to detect 10ml of the stuff but so do the Boots ones?! I've got some FRER's coming today. Still got sore boobs, heartburn, a weird dizzy feeling and some trippy dreams.

Have you all started changing your caffeine intake etc? I'm struggling haha.

@tossacoin1 lovely positive line; I'm thinking I'll use these frer's today and then just wait. At the end of the day if it all goes wrong there's nothing I can do anyway!

@savethewales yes I've started drinking decaf tea. I was worried I wouldn't like it but it actually tastes no different. That's very true but it isn't going to go all wrong Smile I'm done testing this week. I got two left and I'll prob use one next week and one the week after, hoping I'll get some symptoms by then. I want something, anything that tells me I'm pregnant! I'm sure I'll get regret saying that soon lol

lab19 · 25/03/2020 15:30

Hi all! Can I join?
I had 2 positives on IC yesterday and then positive 2-3 on clear blue digital today!

Think I'm currently 4+2 with EDD of 30th November. This will be our first, age 31, super happy as we've been trying on and off since last summer.

Called the GP today and they have just given me the phone number to call the maternity services directly at our local hospital.

Excited but nervous! X x

savethewales · 25/03/2020 16:21

Of course you can! What is IC? Good news over the moon for you! Xx

@savethewales & @tossacoin1- nice positive lines there
Welcome & congratulations @lab19. We're due date twins!

I feel like I have a cold coming as I'm a bit sniffly. No real symptoms though. The occasional nausea seems to have subsided. As I didn't really have many symptoms with my first I'm not hugely concerned but very much looking forward to the 12 week scan so I can actually see if everything is okay.

Beccarans89 · 25/03/2020 17:02

Hi all!!
Would it be OK for me to join the convo please? I found out on Saturday that I was pregnant and due around 28th Nov (4+5), however fully expecting a December baby!
First pregnancy for us and staying at home means that time is going very slooowly already! Looking forward to going through this all together! Xx

lab19 · 25/03/2020 18:17

@savethewales internet cheapy sticks! I had 2 positives on these but didn't quite believe them!

Nice to see a few of us have similar dates!

I've not really had any symptoms so far, just pretty tired in the evening and weirdly really chapped lips! Which I read on another post is a symptom!

X x

savethewales · 25/03/2020 18:22

@lab19 ohhh I'm so not down with the lingo!!! Are you getting dark lines on the internet cheapies? How many DPO are you?

Welcome @Beccarans89! How are you finding it? xx

OP posts:
Beccarans89 · 25/03/2020 18:49

Thanks so much @savethewales! Yes not too bad, definitely had a few symptoms though - no sickness but mainly just tiredness and had a headache for the last couple of days! How have you been? Xx

savethewales · 25/03/2020 18:54

@Beccarans89 I'm doing okay, I've had heartburn and a queesy feeling that comes and goes. Some mad dreams and sore boobs so hoping this little one sticks xx

OP posts:
Beccarans89 · 25/03/2020 18:58

That's the thing, as frustrating as the symptoms are they're reassuring aren't they @savethewales! I've had a MC previously too so totally understand that feeling. We need to stay positive and healthy for these little ones growing inside us xx

savethewales · 25/03/2020 19:09

@Beccarans89 you're totally right! I need to stop testing as when it isn't darker I completely panic. I think it's harder as I'm bloody bored! Hoping to be optimistic.
How many DPO are you now? X

OP posts:
Beccarans89 · 25/03/2020 19:15

@savethewales I think it's definitely the boredom at the moment! It's hard to not spend all day thinking about it isn't it! 🙈 I did another test today haha! But yeah, we just need to stay positive I think and hope the days start going quickly...
I ovulated on the 7th so about 18 I think! How about you? Xx

savethewales · 25/03/2020 20:37

@Beccarans89 I need a bit project I think! Ah fab, I'm about 13DPO, I keep googling other people's test at this point on those internet cheapies. I'm doing my own head in let alone anyone elses 😂

OP posts:
Beccarans89 · 25/03/2020 21:09

@savethewales yes a project is definitely needed to keep us busy!! So hard to not Google constantly isn't it! Here's to a quick few weeks for us x

Clemmie83 · 26/03/2020 06:43

Hello!

Please can I join, I'm 36, first pregnancy after trying for 15 months so still in total shock I'm pregnant! Shock Due 30th November but fully expecting a December baby. Feeling so anxious right now, especially in these challenging times with the virus...

savethewales · 26/03/2020 07:09

Hi, of course you can! Congratulations. How are you finding it?! Xx

OP posts:
Clemmie83 · 26/03/2020 07:53

@savethewales Thanks, feeling incredibly tired but other than that ok at the moment. Really didn't expect it to ever happen, we were waiting on our referral to the fertility clinic. So excited but at the same time trying not to think too far ahead as conscious that it's early days... xx

ChampooPapi · 26/03/2020 08:11

@tossacoin1 that's a really good line for 12 days post ovulation.

We are going to be close in weeks/days as mine looked very similar at 12 dpo (picture attached)

I'm 5 weeks today so just keeping everything crossed still we make it another day, another week...

@savethewales your tests look great! Honestly there will come a time soon when you will use your last test and just start looking forward. But it is very hard isn't it when you've had that innocence taken away by a miscarriage. I feel you 💯 💜

Whiffle77 · 26/03/2020 08:22

Tentatively joining..12 dpo and have a positive, so due early Dec. Had a miscarriage beginning of Feb so still feeling very unsure it will stick, but decided to post anyway as a few others had mentioned they had had a MC

savethewales · 26/03/2020 08:23

Morning @ChampooPapi, my first response today is much lighter than the other days and my Boots is slightly lighter. The cheapies seem a bit darker but who knows. I'm not very optimistic at the moment that it's going to be okay! My period was due yesterday or today and I'd be 14dpo.

Hi guys,
So I got my positive 2 days ago after being 14 days late for AF and 6 negative tests in that 14 days, positives showed using FRER. midwife has said I may have conceived closer to AF so I’m not sure when I’m due, if I go from first day of last period then mid November or from nearer AF then early December. No symptoms really just eating a lot more. This is my second pregnancy I’ve got a 20month little boy! Hope everyone is feeling good this morning.

Morning everyone. I saw this on fb and was hoping it might bring some comfort to everyone

@savethewales my FRER was fainter the next day (a few days ago) and I panicked and did another test on second urine and it was darkest yet. Both times for me it was darker second urine. I then did FRER next day and it was darker again. Some people say their lines are darker in the evening so could be worth holding it in and trying in evenings Smile

mini84 · 26/03/2020 08:58

Hi, please may I join too!

Congratulations to all of you!

I think I'm 5 weeks pregnant. Due early December ( potentially on my birthday..?)
It'll be my first.
Only my husband knows so far (along with the many many tests I've done!!)
Emailed my GP and got a number to call to book in with the midwife but I've not done it yet. I just can't really believe it and don't want to tempt fate with anything!
