Hi all,

I'm jumping the gun a little with this as I'm pregnant and found out earlier than a missed period (it's 3 days away)

I had a miscarriage at the start of February so I'm terrified, but trying to be optimistic all will be okay. My lines are getting darker, which they didn't do last time.

Anyone else due in December?

Hi everyone, can I join? Got a positive on Tuesday and am 3w6d now (normally 24 day cycles). Really nervous as I had an early miscarriage at 4w2d in Feb - @MrsB2019x I'm thinking of you, I went to a&e with suspected ectopic too, they couldn't find any trace of pregnancy and I started bleeding the following day. Sending massive hugs and hoping it'll be a false alarm!

I'm over 2 weeks since conception now, but the CB digi are still only 1-2, terrified that means my HcG isn't rising again and wish I could have the blood tests to check. Not sure I'm ever going to be able to relax!

YahBasic · 10/04/2020 12:46

Congrats @Cc33 - i feel like this is the start of not being able to relax for the rest of our lives 😂

AliSxo · 10/04/2020 12:50

@aitch07 I know she'll be having the worst day I just wanted to help. How are you? Xx

Bassbeh17 · 10/04/2020 14:14

I just went with my husband for a two hour walk across the fields as we are lucky to live in the countryside during this madness! It cleared my head so much and reassured me I’m not as fragile as I feel! I am also suffering period cramps and aches today so it helped ease those!
Normally on my week of my period exercise will make it arrive for me so I was keen to get home and check and 🤞🏼 Nothing 🙌🏻
Just got to find something to distract myself for the rest of the day now.......

jtc19 · 10/04/2020 14:45

@bitheby @mrsb2019x I am so sorry to you both ladies, the best thing you can do right now is just try to rest and look after yourselves we are all here for you sending all my love x

ScotByProxy · 10/04/2020 14:56

Thought I'd jump on! Just found out that I'm pregnant - 5 weeks! Could definitely use some supportive mums-to-be, it's my first and I live in the Philippines and my whole family are in London! Eek! What an adventure! I took the test and it came up with two lines in literally 15 seconds!! Oh Lordy!

MrsB2019x · 10/04/2020 14:56

Thank you everyone, you’re all so lovely 💐

Still at the hospital and been examined, gonna be offered a scan later however at 5 weeks I’m not holding up much hope of seeing anything. I just hope they can find where bubs is sitting so I get closure from all of this x

Mrsirvine · 10/04/2020 14:57

@MrsB2019x gutted for you :( xxx

@lma00015 congrats!!
Welcome to the thread!
I just saw another thread on Mumsnet that was so horrible people slating people for getting pregnant during this virus!
Not all pregnancies are planned and even if it was then it’s personal choice.
I know things are difficult right now but we have 9 months before we bring these babies into the world and any checks between now and then will be done carefully I’m sure.
Sorry for the rant but it really upset me as it made me feel like I’ve done something wrong!

Positevibes · 10/04/2020 16:00

@Bassbeh17 I saw that post it has some very harsh judgemental people on it. I'm sure some of them just commented to upset people. They have no right to be judgey when they don't know everyone's individual story so balls to them 😉

Bassbeh17 · 10/04/2020 16:13

@Positevibes I’m glad it’s not just me that thought that!!
I mean, pregnancy happens and if there was some horrifying link to Covid-19 and pregnancy they would be advising everyone and they’re not.
I get we have to be careful and going to appointments could be risky but no riskier than going into Tesco in my opinion!
Personally, for me, I am still working as a nanny and still collecting my shopping (collect+) and going for a daily walk so one app every few months is not going to make me stop this really wanted pregnancy. I feel sorry for whoever started that thread!

Anyway, let’s spread baby joy!

lma00015 · 10/04/2020 16:14

@Bassbeh17

Thank you! I am a first timer so feel anxious especially with everything going on atm!

I never so that post but that isn't very nice for people to make a judgment like that! It's our own personal choice. We should be coming together in times like this not putting people down!

RyanStartedTheFire · 10/04/2020 16:16

Yes, the anti pregnancy threads on here are making me so anxious and upset. I don't feel worried until I see such inflammatory things being posted with absolutely no evidence. Talking about difficulties with the pregnancy when no other CV has created difficulties in pregnancy. Angry

LuLaLaLa · 10/04/2020 16:26

Don’t worry about what other people think. Your uterus , your opinion. Who cares what some key board warriors think?!

SuitcaseOfDreams1 · 10/04/2020 16:28

Definitely best just to ignore the hateful threads, I think. There seems to be a lot of them on mumsnet at the best of times, for all kinds of things - whatever choice you make, someone on here will be horrible about it! We don’t know what the world will be like in 9 months time, and life plans can’t be put on hold indefinitely. I hope everyone stays safe and doesn’t let horrible people tarnish this Flowers

bitheby · 10/04/2020 16:37

Thank you everyone. I'm fine. Spoken to the midwife. She says at this stage it's too early for an early scan so I just wait for the bleeding to start. They'd most likely manage me at home anyway. If it gets uncontrollable then call for an ambulance.

No sign of any bleeding yet.

It's a big disappointment but I'm coming to terms with it. I'll do everything I can to try again but if not I am totally open to adoption. Or fostering.

bitheby · 10/04/2020 16:38

I've left the Facebook group. That would just be too upsetting.

Beccarans89 · 10/04/2020 16:55

@bitheby so sorry to hear this has happened, look after yourself xx

Beccarans89 · 10/04/2020 16:56

@MrsB2019 hope everything is going ok, thinking of you today, I hope the hospital have been able to give you some answers xx

Beccarans89 · 10/04/2020 16:57

How is everyone feeling today? I'm 7 weeks tomorrow, still no sickness really but just feeling odd today! I seem to have really achey muscles for no reason, some slight cramps, very bloated and just shattered! No idea if any of this is normal but you t to try and take it easy for the rest of the day! Hope you're all well xx

LuLaLaLa · 10/04/2020 17:04

I just feel off if that makes sense. Not unwell but just abit off! Not sure how to describe it. Also feel so bloated today. Was doing a home workout and my belly looked like the day before my period. Hello bloat! I probably need to drink more water to be honest. I have been bad in general since working from home full time

aitch07 · 10/04/2020 17:15

@AliSxo thanks for asking. I'm doing ok. Still very nervous! 5+5 so further than I got last time. Time is really dragging! 6 week scan next Tuesday so praying that goes ok. How about you? x

Beccarans89 · 10/04/2020 17:34

@LuLaLaLa yeah I'm the same, just not feeling myself at all, all part of the process I guess! Yes I'm the same, so bloated, and it seems to get worse as the day goes on! I read that it's very common though as your body is prepping but does feel odd. X

LuLaLaLa · 10/04/2020 18:33

I remember last time the bloat by the end of the day in the first few weeks was a lot. Once I hit weeks 14 onwards the bloat stopped and my tummy was flatter until my bump arrived about 25ish weeks
