Hi all,

I'm jumping the gun a little with this as I'm pregnant and found out earlier than a missed period (it's 3 days away)

I had a miscarriage at the start of February so I'm terrified, but trying to be optimistic all will be okay. My lines are getting darker, which they didn't do last time.

Anyone else due in December?

@MrsB2019x oh no, i will keep everything crossed for you. Hope you're doing ok. And @bitheby please try to rest and look after yourself. I wish i knew what else to say to either of you but thinking of you both x

Bassbeh17 · 10/04/2020 10:15

Anyone on here due mid Dec? I’m due on 18th. Exactly 4 weeks today and intense “period” pains and aches!

Dreamcatcher34 · 10/04/2020 10:21

@Bassbeh17 I’m due 16th and have been the same. Very achey, crampy and some sharp pains. I think I’ve had a water infection so I got some antibiotics from the GP the other day and I’ve taken them but still feel much the same really. Most pain is on the left side, but it’s all pretty achey and I’m constantly aware of it every time I move. I’m hoping it’s just a case of the body having a lot to get used to. I haven’t had a baby for over 10 years. I feel quite pregnant and the clear blue has gone from 1-2 to 2-3 weeks, so fingers crossed. Hope you’re ok.

Sorry to Mrsb and Bitheby. Thinking of you both.

Ali, hope you’re ok, I know you were only trying to help.

LuLaLaLa · 10/04/2020 10:22

I’m having lots of cramping too but I’m trying to keep busy!

Babydance255 · 10/04/2020 10:31

@MrsB2019x @bitheby so so sorry ladies 😢 thinking of you both x

SuitcaseOfDreams1 · 10/04/2020 10:35

@Bassbeh17 I’m due on 16 Dec - just did the test this morning, still absolutely in shock. Is it your first? (Sorry, I haven’t read the whole thread!)

@Dreamcatcher34 we are almost the same date!
I had today as a marker in my mind because today would be my normal period. Although I only came off my pill 1st Feb and only had one period which took 6 weeks to arrive so realistically I could have ovulated earlier than day 14 and could be further along than I think! I wouldn’t be surprised as my tests were VERY strong!
I cannot wait to get to the first scan so I can take a deep breath and relax!
I’ve had to tell my boss as I’m still working but I’m not going to tell any family or friends until we are through the worst of the virus as I want it to be reactions of happiness not worry!

Bassbeh17 · 10/04/2020 10:39

@Dreamcatcher34 yes it is my first! Very exciting!
Plus I’m a nanny so it will be amazing to finally look after my own!
I woke up this morning desperate for ice cold water and am on my fourth glass 😂
I’ve been waking up very early every day and very thirsty!
As I’m writing this I also have heartburn and very sore boobs!

SuitcaseOfDreams1 · 10/04/2020 10:40

My test was really strong too - it came up almost instantly and is quite dark. My cycles have been a bit irregular lately so I might not have dated it completely accurately. It’s so exciting! Two Christmas babies ❤️

SuitcaseOfDreams1 · 10/04/2020 10:41

It’s my first too! I have also been very thirsty but no other symptoms yet. I don’t know if that’s a concern? Hopefully not as it’s very early still. How lovely for you, after loving the children you nanny for you will now have your own to love!

Rosie399 · 10/04/2020 10:43

@SuitcaseOfDreams1 and @Bassbeh17 I’m dec 16th too :)

MrsB2019x · 10/04/2020 10:44

Thank you for your kind words ladies, I really appreciate it. Waiting on blood results and potentially a visit from a gynaecologist 😓

SuitcaseOfDreams1 · 10/04/2020 10:45

Congratulations @Rosie39!

YahBasic · 10/04/2020 10:45

16/17th for me too! Also my first.

Dreamcatcher34 · 10/04/2020 10:46

Really I should be due 7th December, but I know I ovulated late so I’ve estimated the date myself. I reckon I’m right though 😆 my tests went from barely visible at all to strong within just a few days.

Hope all our cramps ease off soon gals. Roll on scan time. Has everyone self referred to maternity services online?

aitch07 · 10/04/2020 10:51

@AliSxo I read your message to be kind and supportive, not suggesting anyone goes out in the middle of lockdown looking for sperm. An awful time for her and I'm sure you just caught her at a particularly bad moment. Don't you hide away now 😘 x

Rosie399 · 10/04/2020 10:56

@MrsB2019x sending lots of good wishes your way 😘

Bassbeh17 · 10/04/2020 10:57

@Dreamcatcher34 I phoned my GP on Monday and the lady posted me a booking form and I then posted that back two days ago! Apparently they will now call me to book me in for my first appointment.

Chants20 · 10/04/2020 11:06

Hi All

Just joining for the first time. Found out we’re expecting two days ago, slightly by surprise as I didn’t think it would happen this month. Did a first response during the afternoon and it came back v. Quickly with a positive so did a second digital which said 1-2, did another digital yesterday morning which came back with 2-3. Soo based on some calculations I’m 5+2 due around 10th Dec!

Congrats to everyone else! I’m pretty nervous about getting through the next few weeks but so far so good, just some stomach twinges/butterfly sensation!

Rosie399 · 10/04/2020 11:12

I actually work in maternity so want to wait so my colleagues don’t find out sooner, I’ll ask GP to refer me for scan 🙄

2020wish · 10/04/2020 11:33

@Dreamcatcher34 I’m feeling the same as you. I’m due 16th dec. have a daughter who is 9 so it’s been years. And I’m sore all over and sharp pains and I’m conscious of making sudden movements

Dreamcatcher34 · 10/04/2020 11:35

@2020wish I’m so happy to hear someone is feeling the same. I bet it’s just our bodies getting back into the swing of things.

Hatepickinganame · 10/04/2020 11:42

@dreamcatcher34 its different in my area, we still go through the gp surgery. My appointment is booked for end of april 😊 im definitely starting to get nausea now, tea and toast seem to help 🤢

lionsmum · 10/04/2020 11:51

@bitheby sorry to hear, look after yourselfThanks

@MrsB2019x hope you are okay, what a worry but you are in the right place now, thinking of you!

Welcome to everyone new and congratsSmile

rooarsome · 10/04/2020 12:05

I feel really odd today. Not quite nausea, just feeling not right. I keep looking at my early scan and can't stop smiling though ❤️
