December 2020 babies

Hi all,

I'm jumping the gun a little with this as I'm pregnant and found out earlier than a missed period (it's 3 days away)

I had a miscarriage at the start of February so I'm terrified, but trying to be optimistic all will be okay. My lines are getting darker, which they didn't do last time.

Anyone else due in December?

I have been up all night with abdominal and back pain, so bad I haven’t been able to sleep. So going to try and get an appointment with the GP today. 😥

I’m 5w and was only expecting 2-3 lmao .... I am not sure if I’ll just quit testing now lol it’s addictive xxx

@MrsB2019x I was similar to you , hence being on here at 5 and ordering a new garden bench online 🤫 lol my back is killing today , welcoming the symptoms tho xx

@Mrsirvine oh i ordered another one 🤦‍♀️ it wont be here til next week though. Its far too addictive i think 🤣 gonna be a looong few weeks til my first appointment and even longer til my scan!

So I told my nanny family this week as I wanted them to be aware. I’d be trying to get them to furlough me and they were refusing and basically I’ve had to go back or be unpaid! I was all ready to tell them where to go but now I need maternity pay! I’ve been with them two years as well!
They’ve been really good but I made them promise not to tell the boys as it’s so early.
🤞🏼 Fingers crossed this stays.
I’m finding it super hard to stay awake during the day and am ready for bed about 2 in the afternoon then I’m waking up at 7!

Hi, I think im 4 weeks today, hoping for first baby, previous had miscarriage.
Ive bought clearblue digital tests. Im going to do one on sunday, what will it say? im sure I read somewhere it would show less but im confused.

@Squeezy212 it depends on hcg levels but im 4 weeks and 5 days, my digi says 2-3 weeks as it measures it from conception so its about right.

@Mrsirvine im going to suggest this to oh and see what he thinks, i really want to get one done just to put my mind at ease.

@Squeezy212 congratulations! Such an exciting and scary time. I had a MC last year at about 5+3. I'm now 5+5. The CB digital are great if they give you the numbers you want! However I've had quite a stressful time with them. At your stage I got a 1-2 (since conception as opposed to date of last period). It progressed quickly to a 2-3 which made me happy as put me around 4 weeks as I thought. I tested a week after the 2-3 expecting a 3+ and it didn't change from 2-3. Gave it another couple of days and got the same. Stupidly got on google and whilst the majority of women said they were unreliable at dating exactly, I chose to focus on the few who said it was a sign that the baby stopped developing. Tested yesterday lunchtime which was 10 days since the first 2-3 and it hadn't moved. Tested this morning with first iTunes and got a 3+! So I just wanted to say, go for it but please don't read too much into the numbers. The 1-2 and 2-3 are easier to gauge as the hormone range is less. Good luck and let us know how you're going xx

I’ve been getting tugging sensation - really mild like period cramps and shoulder pain.. I’m worrying about ectopic. My shoulder pain is just a full ache and feels muscular so I’m hoping it’s just that but had it for three days now

@Rosie399 the shoulder pain is the last thing you feel, I saw a dr last time I was pregnant as I had shoulder pain and she was like no you'd be in agony by the point your shoulder tip hurts xxx

@Rosie399 it'll more than likely be muscular but keep an eye on the cramps xx

@Rosie399 it's completely understandable, my GP with vast experience said of all the ectopic she'd seen shoulder tip pain was the last last thing you have and by that point you know something is very wrong because you're in agony. It'll be muscular but keep an eye on yourself xx

No. I'm not. But I will be.

I think this is the end of my dream of a family.

I can't try again unless I can persuade the donor to break lockdown and meet me and he is 4 hours away and the chances of me a) getting there and b) not getting infected or stopped by police are virtually nil.

Right now it feels like life isn't worth living.

That's how important this was.

@bitheby let your body just rest for now, there will be better days, did you catch quite quickly? X

I am currently in A&E on the advice of my GP with a suspected miscarriage/ectopic. So I think it’s over for me too. 😥

I can't. What part of trying to conceive with a donor do you not understand? The country is on lockdown. I can't physically get sperm from anywhere and wouldn't want to.

Sorry. I know you're trying to be helpful.
The reality is that I might be too late and this might've been my best shot.

@bitheby I won't reply to you any longer I feel I'm only trying to help and by "soon" I didn't mean whilst lock down was still ongoing, I just wanted to give you some hope. Best wishes.
