Hi all,

I'm jumping the gun a little with this as I'm pregnant and found out earlier than a missed period (it's 3 days away)

I had a miscarriage at the start of February so I'm terrified, but trying to be optimistic all will be okay. My lines are getting darker, which they didn't do last time.

Anyone else due in December?

@MrsB2019x there is always room for cheesecake 🤤

@Hatepickinganame oh no that's the worst 😂 It was a bloody good cheesecake!

LuLaLaLa · 09/04/2020 21:21

I need to pick up some folic acid and general vitamins too . Must remember when next at the shops!

Trying so hard not to eat everything . This lockdown and increased hormones makes me want to eat everything. Also need to cut back on the coffee..... that’s the killer for me

AnnieCa34 · 09/04/2020 21:23

@Bassbeh17 im a nanny too! Been furloughed so not working currently but as soon as I am back I think I will have to tell them! With all the kids there and the parents and feeling as I do I prob will have to tell them!

MrsB2019x · 09/04/2020 21:31

@LuLaLaLa I have been crazy hungry too, it only stopped today really!

Bassbeh17 · 09/04/2020 21:31

Nice to meet another nanny on here! This is my first, is it yours?
I’m currently just keeping everything crossed this stays! Not sure why it wouldn’t I just feel like I’m not lucky enough as I want it to work so much!
I know I will regret saying it but I’m desperately hoping for more symptoms to make it feel real.

LuLaLaLa · 09/04/2020 21:33

Glad I’m not the only crazy hungry person! Trying so hard not to eat everything and keep my exercise going during this lockdown. Was hard and now even harder since finding out I’m pregnant ! At least I won’t be drinking wine every night anymore !

Rosie399 · 09/04/2020 21:35

I need to get some decaf 🙈 I’m terrible with caffeine usually

LuLaLaLa · 09/04/2020 21:51

Cutting down the coffee is a massive thing for me. I drink far to much in general never mind for a pregnant ladyBlush

AliSxo · 09/04/2020 22:07

Is anyone else still POAS?! 🙈
I was worried as I've had lower back ache and some tiny cramps and just felt a bit of discharge but nothing there, my test tonight is darker than my test at lunch so that's given me hope x I can't help but worry when symptoms come and go, I'm not as queasy today but my boobs are still sore xx

MrsB2019x · 09/04/2020 22:11

@AliSxo Every morning right now cos I’m having bleeding. Costing me a fortune but need that reassurance!

AliSxo · 09/04/2020 22:18

@MrsB2019x there's nothing else to spend the money on, also it means a lot to us so who cares if we spend our money on tests, better than some things you can waste money on. How are you feeling? Xx

bitheby · 09/04/2020 23:51

I might cry. I've just been out for the first time in a week to do a supermarket shop. Main essential was more pregnancy tests. I bought the freedom tests which I know are a bit shit but I just wanted a reassurance dark line.

And it's negative.

No bleeding. I'm nearly 6 days late.

So hoping this isn't a chemical pregnancy and I got a dodgy test but I've had the opposite of the reassurance I wanted.

Don't know what to say. No one knows. Not even me Sad

AliSxo · 10/04/2020 00:26

@bitheby I'm so sorry to hear this, it's a horrible time at the moment and I hope you can get some better tests. How many weeks are you, when was your last positive test? Xx

bitheby · 10/04/2020 00:54

4+2. Las positive was Monday and I ran out of tests. Tested positive Friday to Monday.

AliSxo · 10/04/2020 00:58

@bitheby do you have another test for the morning? Is there a boots/Superdrug or a chemist you can get to for a FRER? I hope you're ok xxx

bitheby · 10/04/2020 01:04

I don't know. Yes. There is a boots but it's one of two towns with one which are 20 miles away. Half an hour drive.

I'm so completely exhausted. The pregnancy was keeping me going and I don't want to lose it and lose that purpose. Sorry. Very tired. Know I'm not making total sense.

AliSxo · 10/04/2020 01:06

@bitheby maybe try and sleep, if you're tired tomorrow you'll only feel worse for it, I hope you're ok ❤️ it's such a weird time, also remember you tested with evening wee so might not be as much hcg xxx

bitheby · 10/04/2020 01:11

I hope so. It was a light colour too.

Sorry. It's been a horrendous year. I recently ended my relationship too and I'm still dealing with that and then covid 19 hit and I work in the NHS and it's been really tough. I'm feeling suddenly overwhelmed. This pregnancy was what was keeping me positive and future focussed.

AliSxo · 10/04/2020 01:17

@bitheby you've got a lot of stress and you're dealing with it the best you can xx deep breaths, take one day at a time and don't feel alone we're all here for you xx you can always order FRER online and try express delivery? Just rest up now and maybe take some time off work and explain you have a tummy bug if you don't want to tell them the ins and outs.... good on you working for the nhs! Xx

bitheby · 10/04/2020 01:21

It's ok. I'm on leave anyway. Just having a real downer. I needed that line to be nice and dark. Not absent. Bloody line. Hopefully it's still there. If not, I'll deal with it.

AliSxo · 10/04/2020 01:22

Is it a freedom test you've got for tomorrow? X

2020wish · 10/04/2020 01:27

@bitheby if it makes u feel any better I tested positive on 2 clear blue at 3+6. On morning of AF being due (4 weeks) I tested negative on 3 frer. Cried hard. Went out and bought 2 digital tests and on that same day I got 2 positive digital tests. I’m now 4+3 and going strong. Fingers crossed. Get a good sleep and tackle tomorrow.

jtc19 · 10/04/2020 01:46

@bitheby So sorry to hear that, I can imagine how exhausted you are atm with all that's going, it could just be that your hcg levels weren't that high at the time of testing, it's very unlikely to get a false positive and much more likely to get a false negative so I'd also keep that in mind so if you tested positive previously I would stick with that until you are able to go in for a scan to be 100% sure, sending my love xx

Mrsirvine · 10/04/2020 05:26

@bitheby them freedom tests defo aren’t as good as they used to be! A cb digi should work for you or Tesco’s own £3.50 for 2 tests I really like those and with this preg they’re getting darker daily.... seem super accurate for me .

@AliSxo I am still testing. My dates say 5 weeks today. I did my first ever digi (and this is my 5th preg!!) on Sunday and got preg 1-2 and I just did another .... talk about relief. I’m going to try stop testing now tho and just relax and enjoy it and hope all works out xx

Hatepickinganame · 10/04/2020 06:48

@bitheby sorry for what you're going through! I'd recommend ordering a digital one from amazon if you can. Seeing the words in black and white is super reassuring.

@Mrsirvine i just did my other digi, still says 2-3. Was meant to save it until sunday so it would show 3+ 🤣 now ill have to buy another but then thats it for me too, no more testing 😳 im 4+5 from lmp and i think roughly 20/21 dpo.
