I love love love tea and coffee and my least favourite pregnancy symptom is going off tea and coffee. Also morning sickness.

However by my third pregnancy I realised that I had a dairy issue/intolerance so as soon as I cut it out it totally cured my morning sickness so just something you might want to try if you’re suffering!

I know have a dairy allergy so I haven’t been eating it for years so it will be interesting to see if I get any morning sickness this time around.

wannabebump · 07/03/2020 19:51

Good luck for testing @OrganicSmorganic x

uisage · 07/03/2020 20:07

Hi everyone, I got my BFP on Monday, I'm 4 weeks and 5 days. Due date 9/11/20.

I've had the sporadic sore boobs, lower back pain, feel chilled really easily and get dizzy if I walk for more than 15 minutes. I am also feeling much more hormonal towards DS (16mo), but I think that he's enjoying all the extra cuddles. Last time I started getting the morning sickness at 6 weeks, so looking forwards to that!

I'm looking at early reassurance scans at the moment. I didn't have one last time, but I don't want to wait till 12 weeks to tell everyone! We see my MIL about twice a week, so I think that she'll guess before then anyway.

Last time I was also at the doctors to self report the day after my BFP, I think that I'll wait until next Wednesday this time because that's the next convenient opportunity.

NoseringGirl · 07/03/2020 20:20

Congratulations @uisage I'm planning to get an early scan as well, just need some reassurance!

@OrganicSmorganic good luck with the test! We'll have the same due date!

ACatCalledLola · 07/03/2020 20:25

@Charlottethevet I also alternate between loose bowels and constipation. I’m constantly tired and have on off nausea and stomach cramps. My nipples are also sore. Still breastfeeding my youngest and I’m having to grit my teeth when she latches.
Good luck with the test @OrganicSmorganic

teaandtantrums90 · 07/03/2020 20:29

Hey everyone hard to keep up on this chat lol! I posted about a week ago saying I had a positive etc, it's now showing 3+ I'm so excited! I've had lots of chemicals and never managed to get 3+ before apart from with my DS. How is everyone feeling? I'm due around 7th nov x

OrganicSmorganic · 07/03/2020 20:39

@wannabebump thanks!

@NoseringGirl That’s awesome! Is this your first?

@ACatCalledLola thanks! I tandem breastfed my first and second, it was lovely and helped so much with their bonding- the sensitivity does fade and sometimes the changes in your milk put your current feedling off- good luck!

MummyMilla · 07/03/2020 20:49

Hello, please can I join? I'm actually showing a due date of 27th Oct (so 6+3) but I'm not sure I can face being so far behind everyone on the Oct bus Grin

This will hopefully be my third - with two DSs who are 8&6. My youngest has recently been diagnosed with asperger's and we have had a fairly rough 18 months (gap wasn't ever intended to be this long as we'd given up on having another tbh). But now I'm getting my head around it, it all feels right and I'm starting to get excited.

I'm a bit older (39) and we're going for an early scan Monday. I'm terrified it could be twins Confused.

MummyMilla · 07/03/2020 20:51

Meant to add: last few months have been really settled and DS2 is finally in a really good place. My mum is convinced that's why it has finally happened Smile

ACatCalledLola · 07/03/2020 20:56

@OrganicSmorganic I fed my first until just before my second was born and she weaned naturally. I’m hoping my second will do the same although maybe a bit sooner. I’m leaving it up to her though. I have gone off tea and coffee too. That’s interesting about the dairy as I also don’t fancy cheese or chocolate which is very unusual for me!
That’s fantastic @teaandtantrums90. I’m due the 7th too. Far too scared to take a digital to see what happens though!

Tonicandgin · 07/03/2020 21:01

Hi everyone

Just had a BFP - well I took an expired test first and wasn't sure it was accurate so dh went and bought me another one and Shock. Feeling pretty shocked at the moment but happy and blessed. A real mixed bag.

We have a 6 and 4 yr old already.

NoseringGirl · 07/03/2020 21:06

@OrganicSmorganic my 3rd! We've been trying for 2 years though!

@MummyMilla congratulations and good luck with the scan!

@Tonicandgin congratulations!

Tonicandgin · 07/03/2020 21:17

Ah lovely to read there's a few expecting their 3rd dc. Glad it's not just me bonkers enough to do this 3 timers. Smile

Mlou32 · 07/03/2020 21:20

Me! I'm a bit late to the party here but I'm due in November 😊

Chickoletta · 07/03/2020 22:30

I did a CBDigital test this afternoon (10 days after getting my first BFP!) and it says Pregnant 3+ weeks. Pleased to see that. Didn’t really need to spend that £10 but just wanted to see it in black and white!

CyclingMumKingston · 07/03/2020 22:45

Hi everyone
Due first week in November. 3rd baby.
Does anyone know if it s safe to keep running?
I am terrified that it might harm baby, also I am almost 40
Is anyone a runner and planning to keep training for a bit?
I cycled (gently, electric bike) with the first two pregnancies but not sure about running..
Thanks and congratulations everyone🍑
Xx

Tonicandgin · 07/03/2020 23:00

Cyclingmumkingston - I did the couch to 5k last August and since then have been running 3x a week. I'm not planning on stopping! I remember people from other pregnancies who ran and cycled all the way through their pregnancies.

I've had a read of the Tommy's and NHS websites and they suggest to keep going if you're already running. If you ramp up exercise then it may impact your joints - basically you're safe to keep doing what you're doing.

I've been dieting too (this pregnancy is a bit of a shock!) so I'm planning on continuing both until my body tells me otherwise. Only have a few pounds left to my goal - although I realise this is probably pretty pointless!

GB88 · 07/03/2020 23:35

@CyclingMumKingston I have been wondering the same as i'd like to keep up my running aswell, i've read it's ok to do so if you've been running already, at the minute im still a little anxious with mild cramps every so often so ill see how it goes, hopefully get out soonish and keep at an easy pace!

Cisco2 · 08/03/2020 00:24

Hey Can I join?
I got my bfp on Tuesday so due on 8 Nov, we did ivf so pretty accurate on dates!
This will be my third.
Having some terrible nausea Especially at night, funny as had none with my other 2 pregnancies..

ParisInTheSpringtime · 08/03/2020 07:16

@CyclingMumKingston I’m a crossfitter/runner and planning to continue both at late as possible. Although I had signed up for an ultramarathon which I will now have to defer!

showmethegin · 08/03/2020 07:18

Can I join? After over 18 months of ttc it finally happened. Due around 10 November I think. Feel ecstatic, excited, and terrified all at the same time!!

Mlou32 · 08/03/2020 07:23

Oh and when do I actually go and see my GP? I got a positive a few days ago. Is there any point going to the GP now? When should I make an appt?

Mc3209 · 08/03/2020 07:44

@MummyMilla I am same, I am due on 31st October, but feel I am too behind to fit in with girls in October thread.

Also, I am 6+1 today, and my boobs which have been sore for the past week are not sore anymore.. 😳 Don't have morning sickness, was a bit queasy at about 4 weeks, but that has lifted too (about 1 week ago). This has me really worried something is wrong. I have a private early pregnancy scan booked for Saturday, but Saturday seems ages away. Never thought I would say this but I'd rather be sick and have sore boobs. Very anxious at the moment.

Mc3209 · 08/03/2020 07:46

@Mlou32 call your practice, as everything is geography depending. You might need to self refer to midwife or your GP practice will book an appointment for you.

BuffaloCauliflower · 08/03/2020 07:49

@Mlou32 where I am you self refer to midwives after 6 weeks, but you can go see the GP any time. I think as soon as you’ve got a positive test it’s fine
