@Busybee143 looks like we are both in exactly the same boat! I’m also at toilet lots.. just realised I didn’t reply to your post a few days back! I’m in the UK, but I’ve cancelled the appointment as have had to move GP surgery after moving house recently. I had a water infection last Friday so will be making an appointment this week to check it’s cleared. Must have checked with about 4 different people at GP surgery and chemist before taking the anti-biotics!

LJxo · 03/03/2020 20:58

Hi @yeahseriouslySmile ahh bless you, it’s a real struggle. Hope you’re getting plenty of rest

PatchworkPals · 03/03/2020 21:12

Just popping up to say hello! Got my bfp today Grin

yeahseriously · 03/03/2020 21:13

@LJxo Probably good I can’t go out with my friends as they’d be wondering why I was sleeping at the bar but not drinking! This is a true surprise and my first so I doubt the thought is even on their radar. Already been kind of amusing to hear all the things people say about babies and kids not knowing my situation—you’d think that since most of my friends are teachers, they’d be more into them, but maybe that’s the problem! Ha

wannabebump · 03/03/2020 21:18

Thank you all for being so nice xx

Glad I'm not the only one farting like a trooper!!

@LJxo working full time here too...tired already, dreading the exhausted stage! X

Whoamieven · 03/03/2020 21:21

@LJxo I work from home in the day so it's ok, but I'm currently on an evening shift delivering pizza and I'm shattered! I also keep burping 😂
I am awaiting the extreme fatigue as I had that last 2 times, but so far I'm ok ish!

LJxo · 03/03/2020 21:27

@yeahseriously Yes, no more crawling out of bars, just bed!

@Whoamieven I bet you are exhausted! I’d be seriously craving pizza right now if I was you!

SqidgeBum · 03/03/2020 21:30

Anyone on their third pregnancy and found they had bad morning sickness on DC1 but not bad on DC2? I have two shows and a spa day booked in April, right in the middle of the 6 weeks sickness. Desperate for some hope that I wont be in an awful state like I was last time.

ParisInTheSpringtime · 03/03/2020 21:32

I’m working full time (and then some) in the City. Usually up at 5.30 for the gym too - something might have to give a bit later on, but at the moment am feeling ok. Apart from constipation 😂

Anon87 · 03/03/2020 21:42

45 hours retail for me. Get a few waves of tiredness through the day (feels like it sits behind my eyes), find myself eating a little a lot to keep me going and any little twinges of sicknessl/nausea that's starting to creep in. Can't really make it past 10.30pm now though, usually a midnight-1am'er

ACatCalledLola · 03/03/2020 22:12

@SqidgeBum I was a lot worse with my first. I could barely function because of the sickness. I wasn’t anywhere near as bad with my second. I put that down to me commuting and working long days when I was pregnant with my first but I was a SAHM by the time I was pregnant with my second so I could rest more during the day. For me tiredness has a massive impact.

BabyKnighty1 · 03/03/2020 23:54

I’m actually in New Zealand, no good forums over here. Just found out today we do the first ultrasound at 6-7weeks here!

Mc3209 · 04/03/2020 07:47

@BabyKnighty1 that's good to know, I was a tad worried I am running for early ultrasound too soon.

I find work actually takes my mind off all the anxieties about pregnancy. I am hoping it will get better in the second trimester once the risk of miscarriage will be lower.

wannabebump · 04/03/2020 08:26

@Mc3209 how many weeks will you be when you go for your first scan? I'm so anxious about the wait! X

TinnedPearsForPudding · 04/03/2020 09:08

I am suddenly so tired, last 2 evenings & this morning I feel l like I'm walking through treacle! Only about 4 weeks pregnant, hey ho!

ParisInTheSpringtime · 04/03/2020 09:41

Should I be concerned that I have absolutely no symptoms? I was feeling quite lucky, but now concerned.

I have been pregnant before (but did not continue), and was shattered with sore breasts and terrible heartburn. Nothing this time.

EssentialHummus · 04/03/2020 09:44

I had absolutely nothing last time paris, and DD is now a very healthy 2.5 year old. It’s hard when you’ve had losses though, I think it’s natural to always feel on alert to things.

GB88 · 04/03/2020 09:47

Im anxious about the wait also! Does anyone know how/when the midwife gets back after the self referral form (uk)? Just want to be told 'yip everythings fine!'

wannabebump · 04/03/2020 10:12

@GB88 not sure but I read on another thread of about a week wait. I was on the radar for Subfertility so they are dealing with me just now for referral and scan x

Sakura54 · 04/03/2020 10:13

@ParisInTheSpringtime I think every pregnancy is just different. E.g I don’t remember being dizzy or achy boobs last time. Don’t think my symptoms started til later. it’s still very, very early days for us all. I would be so happy to have no symptoms..I know what’s to come and dreading it lol!

Whoamieven · 04/03/2020 11:31

What counts as a chemical? When does that risk end and it would be a 'normal' miscarriage?
I have a few minor symptoms, but nothing I'd really notice if I wasn't looking!
Both my other pregnancies I felt awful, was hospitalised and on medication for hyperemesis gravidarum, so this feels nothing in comparison...! That said I think(?) my HG symptoms didn't start last time till 6 weeks. This is such a head fu** isn't it!

LynseyLou1982 · 04/03/2020 11:33

@LJxo I'm 5 weeks tomorrow and I work full time too I also have a toddler to content with. So far I've had the odd bout of nausea but the main thing this time seems to be tiredness. I'm falling asleep by 7pm. I had sore boobs for ages last time which is worrying me a bit that I don't have them this time. Though last time I was already 9 weeks when I found out I was pregnant so found out a lot earlier this time.

I should remember this from the first time but does anyone know if we have to wait till 12 weeks to dye our hair? Got a hairdressers appointment tomorrow for a cut and colour that I made ages ago.

HarrietM87 · 04/03/2020 11:36

Hello, just checking in. Got my bfp last Friday at 10dpo so I’m not even 4 weeks pregnant yet! (Will be on Thursday). I’ve had 4 early losses (and a beautiful son born between loss 3 and 4, he’s almost 2) so can’t relax with this one until at least my early scan. I will have one at 6 weeks due to previous issues, so in the last week of March.

I’ve had a bit of nausea and tingly boobs which is reassuring. Also exhausted! I think EDD would be 12 November.

ParisInTheSpringtime · 04/03/2020 11:37

@Whoamieven apparently before or around 5 weeks: www.miscarriageassociation.org.uk/information/miscarriage/chemical-pregnancy/
