Also. I. Cannot. Stop. Eating. What is this?! 😭 I’m going to be huge anyway.

Chy23 · 03/03/2020 16:35

Hi! Well hello to you all, got my BFP yesterday and according to the online calculator thingies am due 4th Nov, I’ll also be nearly 39 come November so worrying slightly about age. I have 3 other children (15, 8 and 7)
The constant exhaustion is kicking my bum, 2/3 naps a day I’ve had for the last 5 days, my boobs - especially my nips hurt so much and I can’t stop peeing.

ACatCalledLola · 03/03/2020 16:45

Please can I join? I got my bfp today and due 7th November. I’m feeling very anxious because I have a condition that makes miscarriage more likely but at the moment I am 4+3, pregnant and hopeful!

ACatCalledLola · 03/03/2020 16:55

@SqidgeBum my two are just over 2 years apart. It was a lot easier than I expected. I don’t have any family nearby but we coped. Dd2 lived in a sling for the first few months and we carried on as normal. The sleep deprivation was hard but the hardest bit was dealing with pregnancy sickness and then being massive with a toddler. Not sure how I’m going to manage the school run this time. I will have to time it in between vomits!

Hi everyone and congratulations to all of you!!! ❤️❤️❤️ I've been through IVF and tomorrow will be my OTD but of course I couldn't help myself and I'm a maniac of POAS lol so I've been testing since Saturday and have been getting bfp on different types of tests (FRER, Sainsburys, CB (but not the digital, and cheapies from Amazon) I know Im mental 😅. All my lines, everyday, are the same, faint but you can see them, they haven't got darker and the 2 times I've tested on the CB digital it came as bfn so even if I'm a little excited I still can't jump of happiness, hope that makes sense? Any one relates? (I'll add one of my FRER photos for reference 😄) oh and of course if this goes well I'm due on Nov 9th. 🙈

@FlashesOfRage i’m 5 weeks 2 days today. I’ve booked my scan for Thursday 19th. I can’t believe it until then 🤞. Do you have any symptoms yet? X

rachelrainbow · 03/03/2020 18:08

I did my last frer this morning and was delighted with this line. Still no sickness yet which is making me slightly anxious. How are 5 weeks peeps feeling?

Oldermum80 · 03/03/2020 18:19

@rachelrainbow I am 5+1 and have no symptoms other than feeling tired and occasionally feeling sickly, but nothing that would make me think I’m pregnant if I hadn’t had a positive. I had a miscarriage in December and definitely felt pregnant then although I was only pregnant for a week before I miscarried.

SqidgeBum · 03/03/2020 18:38

@ACatCalledLola that's very reassuring to hear! It is the morning sickness I am dreading the most. No idea how I am going to survive. Also, I am 4 weeks 3 days too! Due date twins!

ParisInTheSpringtime · 03/03/2020 18:39

I have no symptoms at all! Feel very lucky to be honest.

TinnedPearsForPudding · 03/03/2020 18:47

@Adri83 - congratulations!! I'm an IVF graduate too! Nice to find someone else to share the journey with

Mc3209 · 03/03/2020 18:49

@Elley2912 knowing myself I knew I was not going to be able to wait until 12 weeks NHS one, hence the early one ☺️

@rachelrainbow I am 5+3, have sore boobs (which is a new thing in the last 4 days), nausea which I had at 4 weeks is not as bad, barely there now, and cramps are gone (thankfully! They were really freaking me out).

SecondSecret · 03/03/2020 18:54

Joining in - after a silent missed miscarriage in December at 12 weeks just got our BFP today - due Nov 10th as ovulated late this cycle so only 4 weeks. Super worried for chemical pregnancy in the next two weeks and then obviously worried about miscarriage again after that - symptoms so far are just nasty AF like cramps which are worrying as never had that with our first (3 years old now) Fingers crosses for everyone x x

Adri83 · 03/03/2020 19:17

@TinnedPearsForPudding yes! We've been on the same TWW Feb/March thread! ❤️❤️❤️🤞🤞🤞

SqidgeBum · 03/03/2020 19:25

I picked up my 'I am pregnant' pack thing from the GP today. I am meant to fill it in and then hand it back in, and the midwife will contact me with an appointment. I am a little nervous that it may still be too early to tell the GP. I just dont want to face a call from the midwife if it doesnt stick. I am only 4+3. If I left it til 6/7 weeks to tell the docs would that be too late? Or should j just hand it in?

ACatCalledLola · 03/03/2020 19:42

Sorry to hear about your miscarriage SecondSecret. I hope this time works out for you.
I’ve already got strong symptoms. My boobs hurt so much that it’s painful breastfeeding. They’ve been like this for a week so I did wonder. I also feel sick, headachy and absolutely exhausted. I had similar symptoms with a chemical last year though so I don’t know if they mean much.
@SqidgeBum it depends on the area. With my first I told my dr immediately but didn’t get booked in until 10 weeks. With my second (different area) I left it later but was booked in at 7 weeks.

rachelrainbow · 03/03/2020 20:00

@Oldermum80 So sorry to hear of your loss. I’m in exactly the same position. Had a miscarriage last year. I had awful sickness last time but nothing this time. My midwife friend keeps reassuring me that every pregnancy is different.

@Mc3209 My cramping is done now too! Such a weird feeing like I was getting pulled inside 🤢

wannabebump · 03/03/2020 20:14

Can I join in please? 😀

Got my BFP yesterday, although AF was actually due almost a week ago, took me some time to pluck up the courage to test!

Works at 4 weeks & 3 days and due 7th Nov. This is DC1, TTC for 17 months.

Absolutely terrified to be honest - I had an ectopic last year and had to have methotrexate. Terrified of any kind of a repeat. Can't really relax, always at the toilet (I swear the girls at work are going to think I've got a water works issue!) just to check there's no bleeding.

The odd wave of nausea, tired come like 9pm, sore stomach what feels like all the time but it's like a "need the toilet" type of sore stomach, tmi...feel gassy & constipated.

Congrats to everyone on here 😘

Hope everyone is keeping ok
Xx

Mc3209 · 03/03/2020 20:19

@wannabebump I am like a fart balloon too! Fingers crossed everything will progress along nicely for you this time.

LJxo · 03/03/2020 20:23

@wannabebump congratulationsFlowers I’m experiencing similar symptoms to you. This is my first pregnancy and also feeling terrified! I’m 5-weeks tomorrow! Hi to everyone new on here Smile

LJxo · 03/03/2020 20:24

Anyone working full-time? Struggling with tiredness and nausea during the day

Shinysun · 03/03/2020 20:44

Got my BFP last Tuesday. This is my second, I'm so excited. Although already o feel huge (posted separately about v.early weight gain!) Also can't stop peeing and feeling really tired.

Busybee143 · 03/03/2020 20:44

@LJxo
Im 5 weeks tomorrow too, im working full time too and im tired without being pregnant haha!

Anyone going to the toilet loads? Sorry for tmi but number 1's and 2's? Feel very embarrassed asking that haha! I keep getting really sudden tummy ache

yeahseriously · 03/03/2020 20:44

@wannabebump @Mc3209 The gas in both directions has been out of control—when it first started I thought maybe it was something I ate, but no, seems like this is the new normal... ha. And not going for my usual remedy of cream and coffee! 🤣

yeahseriously · 03/03/2020 20:47

@LJxo @Busybee143 Yeah, also working full time, and am very sad I can’t just stay in bed all day, even though I haven’t been able to make it past 9pm. On the plus side, at least it’s a private toilet there, since I’m spending so much time!
