Late October 2020 Babies

Did anyone get their BFP recently? I got mine last night so I think I'm 4 weeks 1 day today and still very much in shock, according to apps my due date would be October 30th.

How's everyone doing? I've been gone a few days trying to sort work stuff out in this mess😂

I've finally got my 12 week scan date on the 15th woo. Also, has anyone got like a butterfly sensation in their lower abdomen? I've reach it can be gas but it's definitely not, I know my body😂

No butterflies for me yet, but it's way to early as I am just about 8 weeks. Plenty of bloat though.
Any plans for the weekend? I am thinking of movie marathon, in the mood for something classic, but haven't decided what exactly yet.

got my scan in the morning, so i've decided that instead of sunday, i m just telling close family and friend once I get home, some of them have been struggling with everything that's going on recently and I know although they are going to end up worrying about me a little, i think they'd appreciate some good news.

@Mc3209 he was absolutely over the moon. Couple of tears, told all his friends, just magical. Yay.

@DressingGown87 I know feels like ages but with all this drama going on in the world it's took my mind off pregnancy, so I think it will come around quicker than you think💕 how's your symptoms? Mine are still pretty non-existent

@Danielle95lab so are mine, other than my daily injections and folic acid, I have no reason to feel pregnant. I’m not even that tired anymore, but then I’m not doing much with all this staying at home. Have you had any private scans?

@DressingGown87 yeah same! My boobs kill me when I'm sleeping but fine during the day and that's about it for me. Yeah had my 7 week one which proved something was cooking inside 😂 but right now you could tell me otherwise and I'd believe you.

How you finding working from home? I worked at home before all of this, so nothing new for me haha

I had a scan at 10am on Wednesday (my third NHS one) and by the afternoon, I was like is it real? I think with everything going on, it all feels like a dream. My boobs hurt at first but now they are fine.

I’m getting slightly bored (already), but I live alone. So it’s weird not seeing my friends, or going out. I just see my neighbour who does my injections everyday. You staying indoors?

@DressingGown87 it does seem a bit surreal to actually be pregnant when all this is going on doesn't it? Well after three scans I'd definitely say you've got something brewing in there 😂

I've went from being bloated to looking skinnier than I did before 🤦🏻‍♀️ so I keep convincing myself there's nothing there haha.

Yeah I'm staying inside as much as possible. I'm literally home all the time and it does get boring, I remember the first few weeks of doing it I could cope looking at my four walls anymore. But with everything shut now there's not much places to go! Xxx

Happy Saturday everyone !

It's a beautiful day here (London) and we're going for a long walk by the river for sanity reasons and because it's incredibly quiet and easy to keep a few metres away from anyone else. DP is cleaning the oven and has decided we must batch cook healthy stews, which I'm happy to go along with.

I hope everyone is doing well and not too anxious about the virus and lockdown.

My NHS scan is a week Thursday so very much looking forward to that.

@Danielle95lab yes I don’t think there is by denying it. I think for me, it’s if I stay away from friends, family, work for 12 weeks and then appear pregnant! I’m going to try do some jobs which never get done, also trying to speak to people on the phone as much as possible.

@roarfeckingroar sounds good getting some fresh air. I’ve been making lamb and beef stews. Joy of being at home, I can cook more meals. I’m trying to stay away from the papers, and social media. Just watching the daily 5pm news.

Is anyone else waking up early? I’m not a morning person, use to always be able to sleep! Now I’m waking up between 6/7 everyday!

I wake up early too, but then I got a second wave and go back for a nap during the day. Today I have been pretty much hibernating.

Slightly personal question, does anyone else get cramps after sex? Every time for me without fail, last time was quite substantial (cramps that is). No bleeding and they settle spontaneously, but they unsettle me a lot.

Hi everyone! Thought I'd join the thread and see how you are all doing in these crazy times! I'm due 27th October so am 8+4 at the mo. I'm finding all the virus stuff in the news stressful, staying home but dreading the thought of having to do that until baby comes! But...also trying to remind myself of the miracles that we have inside us :).

How is everyone feeling??

@Mc3209 Atleast it’s not just me! I find no matter how tired I am in the day, I can’t nap either! So I’m shattered, although not doing much. I can’t answer your other question I’m afraid, but I’ve seen on other threads it’s quite normal.

@1990shopefulftm that’s great! Some positivity in this anxious time.

@LadyB90 welcome and congratulations! Hopefully we will be over the worst of it all before the babies come. I’m also staying home, but finding it very lonely.
