@marauder1994
I really want to have a kid.. but I read there is a chance of neural or other defects if you binge drink in 3 to 5th pregnancy (I got to know in 5th week only).. I am scared as hell and sometimes I feel to may be try again later in 3-4 months(please don't judge) and start a healthy lifestyle (I am doing it fom last 1 week - lots of fresh fruits, nuts, cereals, folic acid, calcium etc.)

marauder1994 · 23/02/2020 16:01

@Prachi123 I wouldn't worry. I think you're thinking too much into this. Now is the time to change and look after yourself and your baby. There will be thousands of women who have done the same and had healthy babies.

twinkleyes35 · 23/02/2020 16:08

@Prachi123 like others said don't over think and stress about it as it's only going affect it.

May be read this article below some girl didn't knw she was pregnant throughout her pregnancy and carried on drinking / party lifestyle till last 4 weeks and suddenly delivers healthy baby .

Hope this helps ease your mind ☺️🤗x

Hi! A newbie to the club!
I think I'm about 6 weeks 4days or 6wks 1 day.
I had a MC on 8th Jan and haven't had a period inbetween pregnancies. I dtd 22nd Jan and 31st Jan..BFP on 3rd Feb so would of been too early to test positive from intercourse on 31st Jan. So atm we are treating the mc as first day of cycle. Had a scan last week Monday and put at 5weeks 1 day...gestational sac and yolk sac seen which felt amazing as with MC it was a PUL. I go back to epu next monday for another scan and better dating.
I feel really overwhelmed...such a surreal feeling and still so nervous...but I'm very excited and feel alot more positive this time! Taken 4years to conceive as I have endometriosis..so feels like when you wait for a bus and several come at once Grin.

Hello everyone! Would love to join you at 6+3 (due 15/10)! Anyone else in the sixth week and still not feeling too bad yet? Slight waves of nausea coming and going but nothing major yet. Boobs are a bit sore and having a bit of gentle cramping mostly on the right side (which is of course making me worry!) xx

Indigogirl88 · 23/02/2020 21:54

Welcome @85NM and @Tryingforanother2020 not too many symptoms here today, had a good day other than tiredness and food aversions again!

85NM · 23/02/2020 21:58

@Tryingforanother2020 similar weeks to me! I'm very similar re waves of nausea and i'm extremely tired too. I feel like I've had a boob job they feel so full and heavy lol

twinkleyes35 · 23/02/2020 22:20

@85NM @Tryingforanother2020 I am 6+6 ( due 12/10) and exactly same as yours waves of nausea only coz I am sometimes symptoms spotting but tiredness 😴 is real I can sleep all day... even after every meal 😜. Wee cramps here n there and back ache sometimes. So far I am hoping it stays this way ( no nausea) but i really want this exhaustion n tiredness to go away.

@Tryingforanother2020 I'm the same with cramps on the right side and trying my best not to overthink it....Confused

Congratulations on all the new BFPs!

85NM · 23/02/2020 22:41

@Tryingforanother2020 yes the tiredness is unreal! I done a food shop today and I felt like I ran a marathon lol.

Tryingforanother2020 · 23/02/2020 22:44

Thanks ladies this has reassured me some! Not sure if my tiredness is to be blamed on my 22 month olds new love for 4:30/5am wake ups (thanks son!)

85NM · 23/02/2020 22:47

@SomethingAboutYou I've been the same with cramping. Not exclusively been on the right side all the time but feels alot more prominent at times. It's hard to not overthink isn't it. I just try to keep the blessing and joy of it forefront as much as possible x

85NM · 23/02/2020 22:51

I have a dd 6 years old. When I was pregnant with her I remember falling asleep after work on my bed fully clothednt even get undressed lol my mum always said your first pregnancy is your easiest... I now fully understand that with her 6am wakeups full of bounce during halfterm lol.

Hi all
Got my BFP this week, CB digital this morning says 2-3 weeks.
However I have been bleeding the past 9 days and assumed it was AF as usual. Nothing out of the blue. Just a very heavy day around day 4 but no pains (I often have a very painful AF)
Took a hunch on day 6 of AF to take a test. Don't ask why, I know it's weird but I just had this sudden urge to take one. Pic attached. It's a very strong line.
I'm very wary this may be ectopic so will call my GP tomorrow. If anyone has any insight I'd greatly appreciate it!

How are you @farmerwantsababy
Did you get checked out?

Are you all using an app or website for week by week updates (fruit size of baby etc!!)?

FarmerWantsABaby · 24/02/2020 22:19

@SomethingAboutYou have a scan for Thursday morning. Annoyed it's taking until then but at least I'll have some answers. I'm so confused but I'm convinced this has been a miscarriage or ectopic! 😬
I'm using Pregnancy+ I love the virtual reality part!

Tiatorres · 24/02/2020 22:21

As there are so many groups flying around I’d thought I’d add one that I’ve been searching for and that’s looking for local mums due in the Autumn to share this experience with maybe meet some one having their baby nearby or at the same hospital who knows feel free to join in even you’re out of London.

BecauseReasons · 24/02/2020 22:32

@SomethingAboutYou I use Ovia pregnancy.

@FarmerWantsABaby so pleased to see you got a BFP. Hope it's in the right place for you.

FarmerWantsABaby · 24/02/2020 22:49

Ah @BecauseReasons hello 😊
Thank you. Not feeling very optimistic about it if I'm honest but Thursday will tell a tale!

SomethingAboutYou · 25/02/2020 07:25

@FarmerWantsABaby fingers crossed for good news on Thursday x

85NM · 25/02/2020 16:43

@FarmerWantsABaby good luck for Thursday. Hopefully they also do bloods as well to check hcg and progesterone levels. I hope the fact you got 2 -3 weeks after you started bleeding is a good indicator.
Why do you suspect ectopic?

85NM · 25/02/2020 17:20

@SomethingAboutYou I downloaded pregnancy + yesterday.

FarmerWantsABaby · 25/02/2020 21:34

Thanks @85NM I'm still testing every day (probably torturing myself) to see if the line starts to fade at any point. I've a feeling it may be ectopic as I had my "period" bang on time this month rather than miss one. However it did last 10 days and I had some light pink mucus today. I'm convinced it's ectopic or I've miscarried early on.

85NM · 26/02/2020 07:58

@FarmerWantsABaby good luck for today.
Its hard to not test or not be doubtful as much as we know its not always the easiest. If any support to your situation I was still testing positive before I bled with my mc and 4 days after starting to bleed my hcg levels were 4.4 so would of been negative on a urine pregnancy test, so I hope the fact you are testing positive still is a good sign. Untill the last blood test epu were not alarmed or worried as some people do bleed in viable pregnancies, it's the type of bleeding/blood clots etc that signal a mc. Mine wasn't an interuine pregnancy. I hope this gives you some hope and again good luck x

FarmerWantsABaby · 26/02/2020 12:28

@85NM thank you for sharing! It's good to hear other people's experiences. My scan is tomorrow afternoon. When my supposedly AF came this month I bled quite heavy some days. There were a few small clots but nothing really that I thought was any different than usual, just that I bled longer (usually 4-5 days, I bled for 9/10).
Can't believe my scan has took nearly a week. I didn't know I was pregnant so I'm still taking in the shock of it all which is good in a way as it's distracting me. However imagine you knew you were pregnant, this would be absolutely traumatising. My mum thinks I've put a defence up to protect myself. Maybe she's right.
