So today I found out I’m pregnant with #1 ! & I honestly haven’t stopped crying with happiness all morning. Although I know it’s early days, I just wanted to see if there were any other early Oct babies due so that we can share the journey! I’m over the moon ❤️❤️❤️❤️

@charlie0692 that’s my thinking too. Just might take a bit of stress away !

Togetherismyfavouriteplace · 30/01/2020 13:44

Glad to hear that some of you are symptom - less. I’ve been getting really worried that I feel too normal. This is our first baby so not sure what to expect but like I said the other day, I’ve got very sore nipples and dull cramps but that’s it at the moment. I could ignore those and say I feel normal! Is it weird that I’m excited for other symptoms to kick in? Lol x

Wow it’s great to have this to look on as I am symptom less too today. Feeling less tired than yest and not feeling sick or much cramping but defo getting funny turns with smells now and going to toilet more x

Treaclepie19 · 30/01/2020 14:02

I've got cramping and my nose is definitely more sensitive. Weeing a lot but still not feeling very sick.

MrsB1821 · 30/01/2020 14:06

Why thank you @Birchwoods! Just booked docs appointment for tomorrow. They may send me for an early scan due to my Endo and recent operation on it. If not I’ll book private. So excited - can’t believe it. Keep catching myself smiling!
Just told closest friend so far. Gonna keep it a secret from in laws till her birthday on 1st March - 1 whole month!!!! Gonna be tough! Wanna tell my dad face to face but won’t be seeing him for ages 😢

MrsB1821 · 30/01/2020 14:07

@Treacle81 - my symptoms as less today too - just sooooo hungry!

Quiffy · 30/01/2020 14:14

@Togetherismyfavouriteplace my first too! I’m excited for all the symptoms too - I might change my mind though 🤣

MrsC105 · 30/01/2020 14:21

@Togetherismyfavouriteplace I can't wait for the symptoms to start! Apart from tiredness and sensitive nose i don't have any others!

BMWL · 30/01/2020 14:24

Hi everyone!
Currently 4w5d and have first gp visit tomorrow. Was initially feeling very crampy and tired.. thankfully that's gone, but I'm waking up in the middle of the night starving!
I have told a few close friends already - unsure when to tell work. I work as a nurse so can be exposed to contagious things so probably the sooner I tell them the better - I'll see what my GP thinks!
Xx

Treaclepie19 · 30/01/2020 14:36

Random question, flu jabs do we need them still?
I'm guessing so but I know we're leaving flu season.

Charlolo · 30/01/2020 15:49

I'm booked in for an early scan in a couple of weeks. It definitely sets your mind at rest. We won't tell anyone about the baby until after that.

Have you all started telling people yet?

Catred4 · 30/01/2020 15:57

@Treaclepie19 it's a good idea to get your flu jab. I got one with work but I think they do offer pregnant ladies the jab x

MrsC105 · 30/01/2020 16:04

@charlolo we haven't told anyone yet as we had a chemical at this stage in December, 2 days after we told family.

I am going to have to tell my family this weekend as i am visiting them and they'll be wondering why i'm not drinking! We will tell my Husband's family at some point next week

Treaclepie19 · 30/01/2020 16:06

I'll get it sorted @Catred4. I've had them in my other pregnancies but just wasn't sure if it was too late. I'll ring the surgery :)

Charlolo · 30/01/2020 16:14

@MrsC105 that must have been hard to deal with the other pregnancy. No wonder you are a bit more cautious now.
I would only tell people now, that I would hope to be there for me if the worse happened

MrsC105 · 30/01/2020 16:18

@Charlolo it was horrible even though it was so early!
I would rather keep it to ourselves for the first 12 weeks but it's just impossible to keep it from family!

Birchwoods · 30/01/2020 16:19

I've told my best friend and will have to tell my other close friends next weekend as we're all going away for the weekend. Reluctant to tell my mum as she's a bit "should you be telling me earlier than 12 weeks?" when I've told her about previous pregnancies. So I'm going to hold off for a while. I might tell my SIL if I see her.

Lozz22 · 30/01/2020 16:26

@MrsB1821 same here. Tested today and got a BFN although it's not even 2 weeks and I don't actually know when I ovulated either. I've got similar symptoms to the last time I was Pregnant (miscarried) and the last few days I've barely being able to get out of bed without feeling really nauseous. Pains lower back and left side of tummy and it feels like someone's sticking hot pins into my nipples. The only difference last time was my boobs were that painful it made me cry oh and I was an arsey cow too. Not too disappointed at the moment I'll test again next week but times against me and my Partner so ideally we'd like this month

MrsB1821 · 30/01/2020 16:33

Fingers crossed for you lovely lady! Xx

Lozz22 · 30/01/2020 16:36

@bluemoon2468 after 4 losses the I've learned that if you do need support of those you love then telling them as soon as you find out you're pregnant is best. I know with my second loss Christmas Day 2018 most people were just like oh I didn't even know you were pregnant and that was that. My 4th I announced it to family and friends but not over Facebook. It meant I had a lot more support that time round when I miscarried.

Lozz22 · 30/01/2020 16:55

@MrsB1821 you too!!

Treaclepie19 · 30/01/2020 16:59

@Birchwoods my mom is like that. This time I spelled it out to her that I needed her to know because if it all goes wrong i dont want to feel alone and if it goes well then she's been part of the journey.

bluemoon2468 · 30/01/2020 17:31

@Lozz22 yeah I agree, I couldn't bear to go through a miscarriage without anyone at all knowing.

Jojowash · 30/01/2020 17:55

Snap!

Petrified because I've had to miscarriages in a row!

Really scared.. I'm classed as high risk because of miscarriages and sticky blood positive test and I'm 40!

So hoped and prayers please!
