So today I found out I’m pregnant with #1 ! & I honestly haven’t stopped crying with happiness all morning. Although I know it’s early days, I just wanted to see if there were any other early Oct babies due so that we can share the journey! I’m over the moon ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Ahhh congratulations @MrsB1821!!
I didn't even need to tell my husband, he could tell when I walked out the bathroom 😂
I was like this 😮

Zaalfruit · 30/01/2020 08:12

Hi 👋🏽 and congratulations 🥳 I tested on the 25/01 and I couldn’t believe it ...so yes let’s go on this journey together !! ( any one else getting infrequent cramping - )

bluemoon2468 · 30/01/2020 08:37

Haha yeah I am so impressed by anyone who manages to hide it from their partner for even a few hours. I had planned a cute reveal but in reality just burst into tears and had to tell husband what was 'wrong' 🙈

Catred4 · 30/01/2020 08:40

@MrsB1821 omg congratulations that is a blazing positive!!! Hahaha I told my husband when he was having a poo, I shouted at him "OMG I swear I see something on this test!!!" He was like erm can you give me a a minute?! Then I showed him the digital while he was on a work call... why am I like this 😂😂.

MrsC105 · 30/01/2020 08:45

Congratulations everyone! I got my positive monday 😁
Due 9th October 😁

MrsB1821 · 30/01/2020 09:32

Thanks ladies! Well I told hubby and he was shocked - also not surprised as he said he knew. Said I had a twinkle in my eye! After the initial ‘oh sh&t I’m gonna be a dad’ he suddenly grinned from ear to ear and I cried with relief (and hormones)
Sooooo due 7th Oct and yes @Zaalfruit I’m cramping x

MrsB1821 · 30/01/2020 09:33

Nice one @MrsC105 - congrats

Catred4 · 30/01/2020 09:53

Ladies I've been eating really healthy since I found out. I've actually lost 3 pounds since I got the bfp (taking me to 9 stone 11), I'm not actually meaning to - what do you all think? Just eat more? I can't imagine it's healthy to be losing weight 😬

Treaclepie19 · 30/01/2020 09:58

Dont worry about it @Catred4. I lost over a stone in my second pregnancy because my nausea was so bad.
As long as you're eating and it sounds like its healthy, you'll both be fine.
I need to try harder with my diet. I'm on the creme egg diet right now 😂

bluemoon2468 · 30/01/2020 10:33

Congrats @MrsB1821, we have the same due date atm!

@Catred4 I've definitely lost weight over the past couple of weeks, I have no appetite at all and I've completely gone off all sweet food which is unheard of for me! Happy to be losing some now as I'm sure I'll be piling it on later down the line!

Tink1989 · 30/01/2020 10:36

hey everyone I found out I was pregnant on Monday which was unexpected and split up with my ex 4 weeks ago.
This tiredness is unreal!!! trying to stay awake in work, any advice? (second time mum)

Zaalfruit · 30/01/2020 11:59

@MrsB1821 yes to our October babies !! What’s the Stan on drinking coffee my husband is soo against it ! But I can’t start my day without it !

Quiffy · 30/01/2020 12:03

Hi everyone, just read all your posts and would love to join. I got my bfp yesterday and a darker line today, still a bit shocked. Got a docs appointment today and going to use a week’s indicator tomorrow.

Femo says I should be due Oct 9th.

DH and I have been trying for 7 cycles. I’m 30 and this will be our first. So excited to tell my parents tomorrow 😻

My main symptom was hard nipples and being able to smell everything. Also got some cramps and major bloat. Feel like I’ve just a warm balloon in there 😹

Birchwoods · 30/01/2020 12:05

Wow congrats @MrsB1821 that is one hell of a line!

And congrats and welcome to everyone else with a new BFP!

Birchwoods · 30/01/2020 12:07

@zaalfruit you're okay to have one or two cups. I think it's up to 200mg of caffeine you can have according to NHS. I'm an absolute coffee fiend and usually have a whole cafetière a day Confused but am now just having one cup and decaf tea the rest of the time. I'm sure my mw in my first pg said it's fine to have two cups of proper coffee a day.

MrsC105 · 30/01/2020 12:15

@quiffy due same day as me 😁

Quiffy · 30/01/2020 12:34

@mrsc105 yay! Very exciting isn’t it. Have you booked in with a midwife or anything?

@Zaalfruit @Birchwoods I managed to wean off coffee but replaced with tea which isn’t really better oops - going to get some decaf later. I’m sure you have one cup a day and that’s under the 200mg guide

CouscousEvaporator · 30/01/2020 12:51

It’s good to know some of you are telling work and parents early. I’m debating whether to tell anyone yet, as I’m worried it’s too soon.
But I’m also feeling so so sick and faint today that I can’t really hide it at work much longer.

I’ve booked my 9week appointment with the midwife, has anyone else?

BecauseReasons · 30/01/2020 12:57

Couscous, I booked mine today for the end of February. Told both my parents and mother in law and one friend at work (always good to have one in the know in case shit goes down and an ambulance gets involved, not that I'm paranoid or anything). All people I'd be OK telling about a miscarriage, but I'll tell no one outside of that until 12 weeks. Debating an early ultrasound but don't think I'll bother this time around.

MrsC105 · 30/01/2020 13:02

@quiffy yeah I have an appointment on 27th Feb. Have you got yours yet? I'm planning on going for an early scan on 22nd Feb though x

bluemoon2468 · 30/01/2020 13:02

@CouscousEvaporator I'm going to tell my line manager at work tomorrow. I'm getting so, so sick and I'm definitely going to need some time off. I'd rather just be honest about why.

Treaclepie19 · 30/01/2020 13:20

I've told my mom because I will need childcare when we have our first appointment and my closest friend.
I'm happy to tell people tbh because I know if it goes wrong again I want support.

Feeling quite symptom-less over here.

charlie0692 · 30/01/2020 13:20

Hey everyone can I join in too 😊 I did a frer on tuesday night and it come back positive, did a clearblue digital yesterday morning and -pregnant!! Still cant believe it. This will be baby #2, estimated due date is 10th october based on last period. I'm only 3 weeks 5 days but my cycles are only 24-25 days, so I am only really 1 day late at most. How are you all feeling? I have really sensitive boobs, to the point even the shower touching them hurts 😂🙈 but other than that I feel completely normal xx

Quiffy · 30/01/2020 13:27

I work from home so thankfully no one to notice if I’m acting weird. I agree @BecauseReasons, I’m telling both sets of parents as would tell them about MC, others I’ll wait until after 12 weeks.

@MrsC105 I’ve got a doctor appointment this afternoon as I need to discuss whether I need to come off some medication. I guess I’ll ask him about booking midwife too. I’m definitely considering an early scan too. Just for peace of mind,

@charlie0692 congratulations!!! Just cramps here and tingly boobs. Got a banging headache but hopefully it disappears soon 😸

charlie0692 · 30/01/2020 13:32

Thank you @quiffy. Tempted to book an early scan too, I did with #1 and although you couldn't see alot (think I was around 7 weeks) it did make me feel a bit better. Xx
