Hi,

Starting a thread for ladies in early pregnancy after one or more miscarriages or stillbirths. A safe place to let off steam and hopefully grow healthy rainbows together......

@Knotemma opted for paracetamol and an early night last night. A pretty restless painful sleep was had! Still sore today but guessing muscular as its coming and going.

@samilou2312 with you on the tentatively excited, out shopping today with OH saw mamas and papas.... went and had a nosey at prams etc and I loved it albeit conscious it's too early... at 13+3!

@Avocuddles I had the same thing with the fitbit and after much googling it's quite normal for. Your body to adapt to the increased blood pumping around.

Feeling really upset and anxious. I've had a super lazy day after working last night and just as I was getting ready for work I noticed brown discharge. So I know I had a fab scan with heartbeats yesterday, but really worried something has gone wrong and can't help thinking the worse. Sat at work and don't really know what to do. I know if I am miscarrying there is nothing I can do, but feel so helpless and just want to know all is fine

@avocuddles sorry to hear you're feeling so rubbish, I can absolutely identify - you are not alone! Agree with @diddlysquiddlydoo about it being another unfortunate consequence of our experiences. The way I see it, I'm not going to make my anxiety worse by beating myself up, it's totally reasonable and anyone who says otherwise or offers unhelpful advice on just 'not being anxious' can get in the sea. Anyway, hoping you're finding things to look after yourself / take your mind off things.

@Sunflower1608 sorry to hear you're having such a crappy day, fingers crossed the scan just disturbed something that was sitting in your pelvis, rather than it being bad news. Being on edge constantly is so difficult.

I'm currently crying at Disney films and trying not to throw up, with mixed success

@Rachael321 I have been so tempted to buy all the cute baby grows I keep seeing but have promised not to until at least 12 weeks. Am only 9 weeks today x

Sorry to hear you ladies are struggling, I've had a tough day too. Had the tiniest bit of yellow/ orangey discharge along will really bitty white stuff that apparently might be thrush but I'm not itchy. Also could be from the lube they use at the internal scan but I will ring drs tomorrow anyway. Had a fair amount of pressure and light cramping, mostly in my right hip crease which I am hoping is bowel related, always goes quickly and I def wouldn't call it painful. Been in a foul mood today as well which I am hoping is just hormones.
Argh it's so difficult, I hate feeling so anxious all the time it's exhausting. We are all so strong to go through this xxx

Hey ladies, yes sorry to hear you're feeling rough or worried. Same here 😔 I have found out I don't get morning sickness, but it gets worse the later in the day it is. Very difficult sitting at work feeling I'm going to throw up in meetings. But when I don't feel anything in the mornings I'm worried somethings happened....

My next scan is tomorrow and I'm bricking it. All kinds of bad thoughts in my head! We have a dear friends' 30th dinner after the scan, so I'm hoping all is well (otherwise I'd have to pretend 😔). There's no other timings for scan this week, and I just want to get it over with.

I'm having difficulty keeping track of how far along we all are, should we take a roll call on that?! 😄

Sunstruck - 8 weeks today

Hi all, I've been a bit quiet as been super busy packing up the last of our kitchen so the builders can rip it all out. Flat now looks awful with boxes all over the place. It's been a good distraction as I'm starting to really stress about harmony results.

@TunnocksTcake I've had a fair bit of similar cramping / aches and am pretty certain that it's bowel related. I'm definitely farting and burping far more than is usual (or socially acceptable!)
Hope you feel in a slightly better mood today. We can do this!

Kitchen will be at least 6 weeks I think. I need it to be ready to measure which will be at least 10 days and the 3-4 weeks for delivery plus fitting. I'll post some before and after pics! I wish we'd had it done before DS so we could have chucked everything in his room!

@Seahawk80 Ahhh we recently had our kitchen ripped out / completely redone and I remember the boxes all over the place very well!!! I don't envy you BUT it'll be so worth it once it's done!!

Had an awful night last night just broke down in tears feeling sorry for myself. Been off work 10 days now, house feels like a mess and I cant do anything (bending and standing to clean makes me lightheaded and pukey!), having baths cause I'm scared to lose my balance on the shower. All little trivial things just got on top of me with the hormones too!!!

Hi all

Had another crappy broken night's sleep with a ridiculous amount of throwing up, missing 1 of my 6 tablets yesterday was a massive mistake, but you live and learn 🤦 hopefully I'll manage to get back on track today. DH has tasked me with finding him some jobs to look at (he works away and while I'm off sick I might as well have something constructive to do) so I've at least got a little bit of a plan for the day once I drag myself out of bed.

Morning ladies. I'm stressing out a little this morning...I stretched in bed and ended up feeling like something in my womb tore. Been having stabbing pains ever since. Hoping it's just a case of I over stretched something or pulled a muscle but in full blown panic mode ATM 😔

@SammiLou2312 sounds like ligament pain, try not to worry. I know its really difficult though with odd pains.

Quick update from me, scan went well, it's where it's meant to be hooray! Hopefully having another scan in a couple of weeks just to make sure it's all as it should be.

Managed to get my first lot of tablets and a bit of breakfast down, so feeling a bit more human, planning another couch day. I'm hoping that I can get the meds right and actually feel up to doing anything in the house... The place is an actual pigsty and it's really starting to do my head in.

@hagster glad your scan went well.

I had an awful night too! Woke up with sharp shoulder pain and cramps at 2am so of course freaked out that this cyst is popping and my pelvis is just filling with blood. Rang 111, told me to go to ER. Got there at 5am and waited for 3 hours then asked the nurse if I'm better off just going to EPU as it opens at half 8. Went to EPU. Waited another 2 hours, finally seen by a dr that I have seen before at a private hospital and he did my lapyroscopy when I had suspected endo. Dh actually emailed him after the Xmas miscarriage to see about seeing him privately. Weird. Anyway he whips the wand around so fast, see baby- perfect, sees the cyst and he is not worried at all. Said he would call it a follicule and it's really normal for the corpus luteum to fill with fluid after ovulation. No blood to be seen. He said he 'sensed some anxiety' (!!) and agreed to see us again in a couple of weeks for a reassurance scan. So so grateful to him, so I will have another one at 9 weeks!
I feel like a bit of an idiot but I think the lady on Saturday obviously got in my head and freaked me out a bit too much 🙄
Now on the sofa stuffing my face as I am starving!!!

Nausea and tiredness is really getting me now, spent all day napping yesterday and still can’t get on top of it! 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼 That some serious growth is going on in there to be using up all this energy :)

@TunnocksTcake it sounds like you have been through a very scary experience but so glad you've been seen quickly and all looks good. Great that you've got another scan booked in too! You're not an idiot, it's natural to worry and always sensible to get checked out.

@SammiLou2312 I've had some similar pains, in particular when I stand up quickly and also if I cough hard. Apparently it's quite normal (ligament pain as others have said?) but it's still pretty disconcerting.

@Rachael321 sorry you're feeling so rough, I hope things start easing off soon now you're officially in the second trimester!

@Treaclepie19 I hope you feel ok this week and half term doesn't wipe you out too much.

@Seahawk80 looking forward to the before and after pics - I love a good property renovation programme, George Clarke and Kirsty and Phil are definitely one of my guilty pleasures!
