Starting a thread for ladies in early pregnancy after one or more miscarriages or stillbirths. A safe place to let off steam and hopefully grow healthy rainbows together......

I'm so nervous for my scan today. Barely slept at all last night for worrying. It was at 8 weeks that we found out I had a MMC last time and even though I was feeling more positive yesterday, last night and this morning I just can't stop thinking worst case scenarios again... appointment is at 11 so just gotta get through next few hours I guess. Good luck to anyone else having scans today x

Scan went ok, everything is looking roughly in line with where it should be with a good heartbeat. Legs feel like jelly now!!!! They’re bringing me back in for another one in two weeks time so fingers crossed it’ll be progressing as it should.....

Hope the rest of you have good news too x

That's great news @Avocuddles now try and stay calm for the next two weeks.

Mine was as expected. In fact I passed everything on the way into the hospital. So I could present them with the contents as I arrived. The scan confirmed there was no retained products.

There is a positive though the consultant at epu agreed to refer me to the recurrent miscarriage clinic based on two miscarriages.

@avocadoincident so sorry to hear about your miscarriage though glad that they're referring you to the RMC. I hope you don't have to wait long for another BFP.

@Treaclepie19 how far along are you? I measured 6+3 (6.9mm) think I'm probably a few days further along than that (maybe 6+5 or 6+6) but they said that was fine. The embryo is a lot bigger than in my previous pregnancies which is a positive. When will your next scan be?

@avocuddles and @treacletart so glad your scans went well. Don't worry about measuring a little behind there are so many variables at this time.

@Avocuddles Only tiny! She said more like 5 weeks because only measured about 2.3mm! I'm hoping all will still progress well.
We see the consultant in just over 3 weeks so not too long to wait.

So sorry to read that @avocadoincident. I'm glad at least that you passed everything and didn't need any further intervention, even though that's a tiny mercy in terms of what you're going through. I hope the PM meeting goes ok, and that you'll be back on this thread soon
