So done with being pregnant!

I’m 38+1 and I’m done already! I’m so uncomfortable, every time I sit down I feel like I’m sat on the babies head, every time I stand up I feel like my insides are going to fall out haha!!

The pelvic pain is unreal, walking is painful but if I sit down for too long that’s painful too! I’ve been having period like cramps for about 2 weeks, lightning crotch for about 3. Every time I go to the toilet I’m hoping my plug will come out but nothing!

Sorry for the moan! I love my baby already, do not get me wrong by my god I WANT HER OUT haha!! The thought of coming late and possibly having another 4 weeks of this is filling me with dread.

Anyone got any tips of how they got labour going that actually worked?

I'm not really sure whats going on now.

Went in for sweep and discussed induction options with midwife and she has sent me for scan at 7pm tonight. She thinks the baby will now be measuring 9lb+ and we should be considering if vaginal birth is possible.
She said we need a better indication of size before doing a sweep and going on to induce the baby.

It's just a constant state of confusion 🤷‍♀️
Will see what the scan outcome is.

@agteacht that’s annoying! How did she figure your baby will weigh more? By measuring your bump?? Hopefully they’ll be able got get things going for you when you go later!!!

I’ve had constant period pain for about an hour! Not getting any worse but it’s just constant when I’ve had it before it’s been on and off. Probably not a sign but it’s annoying me 😂

Now booked in for an induction on Friday as they're concerned about growth. So one way or another this baby is coming out!! Hope everyone in labour is okay xx

@agteacht Eeeeee! So exciting! Hopefully things get moving on there own but at least you know that you’ll have a baby by the end of the week!

Hi everyone. I finally have our baby boy! It wasn’t plain sailing and labour was 23 hours long and ended in emergency forceps delivery but we now have a 7lb6 bundle of joy and he was so worth it.

Well the threat of an induction has clearly worked as I had a show about 10pm and labour started. Will let you guys know

Oh congrats @agteacht it seems everyone is having shows or giving birth but me! It's my due date today but i know I'm unlikely to give birth on it. And it's my first so i knew unlikely to give birth Beeche it... But one can have hope can't they?

I'm going to spend all day doing a squat i think haha, tests my plan. Hehe.

I started having contractions in the middle of the night and got all excited but nothing seems to be happening now so just have to wait and see.

Been having awful back pain since about 7 this morning, had a bath and no changes! Coming quite often, can still speak through the pain but makes me hunch up in pain. No idea if this is something starting or I’m just being hopeful 😭

41 weeks today, not a single sign of labour and now just completely and utterly fed up. Have resigned myself to induction on Thursday but even that feels too far away

How is everyone? We are now home and I totally get what everyone says about the feeling of love for your child when they are born. I can’t stop looking at him.

Hope everybody is well and the lazy babies get a move on soon - trust me, it’s sooo worth the wait!

I had to go to hospital as I wasn’t sure if my waters had broke, but it turns out it was my plug coming away! Some of it has come out. Still having pains they’re getting worse but they’re really close together I’m not sure if it’s labour or I’m just being a wuss 😂

@bobble53 yay! It must be so nice being at home now! Enjoy every minute of it

Hi guys, our little girl Lavender Juliet was born by c-section today at 7:18 am weighing 8 lbs 9 oz. It was a very long and stressful labour but she’s finally here and we’re extremely happy! 💗
