I’m 38+1 and I’m done already! I’m so uncomfortable, every time I sit down I feel like I’m sat on the babies head, every time I stand up I feel like my insides are going to fall out haha!!

The pelvic pain is unreal, walking is painful but if I sit down for too long that’s painful too! I’ve been having period like cramps for about 2 weeks, lightning crotch for about 3. Every time I go to the toilet I’m hoping my plug will come out but nothing!

Sorry for the moan! I love my baby already, do not get me wrong by my god I WANT HER OUT haha!! The thought of coming late and possibly having another 4 weeks of this is filling me with dread.

Anyone got any tips of how they got labour going that actually worked?

Hopefully it’s the real thing!!

I cannot sleep for the life of me either! I’m wide awake! But I know I’ll be dead tomorrow 😂

Thursday.

And i had a mild panic this morning thinking i hadn't felt her so phoned in and then she started moving. A bit. Not much though. Not that stress hugely active at this time but I'd usually feel something more by now.

Belly fine rock hard maybe that is effecting it.

So now I'm on kick duty.

Trouble is she's never been a big mover. She has her days where she'll have a party but then more days when she'll be moving but more gentle.

And sone days she will be quiet for ages and then start moving but I'd normally get more of a response out of her by now tbh.

40+6 today. Baby is waaaaay too comfortable

Yes 10 lbs 2 oz 😂 hopefully she’s not that big, don’t think she will be luckily! Looks like a couple of you will be having babies any day now, so exciting 💗

@fonxey funnily enough I'm currently trying to get mine to move. He or she was dancing about at 3am like some sort of disco. Maybe I'm growing a teenager in there and they're having a lie-in. You're right to call up though. Like to keep us on our toes don't they,

I'm going for a bloody long walk again today to try to encourage more downward movement!!

A bit of improvement - I’ve been to the loo this morning and had some blood streaked mucous (tmi sorry) so I’m hoping this is the start of something but I literally think any twinge is the start of something so who knows 🤷🏻‍♀️

I always have a lazy baby in the morning! She dances all night and tired herself out I think!

My long walk around Tesco and having sex last night has made no difference! Even less signs than before 😩

I have tried absolutely everything, so disheartening isn’t it. Especially a walk in the freezing cold outside and sex when you feel like a whale 😂

@bobble53 it really is! The only thing I got from the sex and the walk is even worse pelvic pain 😂 so now I’m pretty much stuck on the sofa haha!!!

Just keep thinking another day down! It can only go on for so long I suppose!!

Hopefully it is your plug though! It sounds like it is from what I’ve read!!

@Samantha1712xx nothing 😭 we are having a madras for tea and I’ve summoned OH to the bedroom tonight 😂 I’m hoping if I had some blood this morning then he just needs a little help to get moving more! Otherwise it’s another sweep on Thursday which again I hope will help after some blood today.

Where are these babies!!!

I ended up going down to the hospital due to lack of movement, and naturally the little maggot started moving didn't she? Why couldn't she have done that in the morning like usual?

And then my friend who has been admitted has said the hospital is full capacity and sending women to other hospitals.

Well I don't want to go elsewhere. One is probably full of chavs (sorry to be snobbish) and the other is too far away and I've never heard great things about either.

So she can hold on a bit! Which is stressing me cos this bump is becoming hugely uncomfortable and i can't stop thinking about how much i just want to have her already.

@fonxey oh no 😔 that sounds like a nightmare! Hopefully she will stay in a couple of days so you can have her where you feel more comfortable! I’m having to travel for mine as my local hospital only has a midwife led unit and I want somewhere that has everything incase anything god forbid goes wrong (even though I am currently low risk)

Well I’ve had a madras and I’ve had a tiny bit more blood. Only one thing left now 😈

That is strange it only has a mlu. Mine has both fortunately. I wouldn't want to go to a standalone one either just for securities sake.

Which is why i don't want to go elsewhere. I don't have good experiences with smaller hospitals...worsely staffed than the biggest, better funded hospitals! But maybe that's just prejudice based on limited experience.

Ugh what i would do to see blood in my knickers lol.

@fonxey yeah it’s rubbish! They closed it down! Don’t offer epidurals and if I was so need an CS I’d have to be blue lighted an hour! Not worth it! Hopefully all will be well for you! If not just turn up 😂
