I’m 38+1 and I’m done already! I’m so uncomfortable, every time I sit down I feel like I’m sat on the babies head, every time I stand up I feel like my insides are going to fall out haha!!

The pelvic pain is unreal, walking is painful but if I sit down for too long that’s painful too! I’ve been having period like cramps for about 2 weeks, lightning crotch for about 3. Every time I go to the toilet I’m hoping my plug will come out but nothing!

Sorry for the moan! I love my baby already, do not get me wrong by my god I WANT HER OUT haha!! The thought of coming late and possibly having another 4 weeks of this is filling me with dread.

Anyone got any tips of how they got labour going that actually worked?

I’m still waiting! I rang the birth centre and she said it sounds more like a gush of discharge...lovely 🙃 I’m keeping everything crossed that my sweep on Monday will get things moving. I’ll be 40+5 then.

I'm not booked in for a sweep but do have a consultant appt on Monday, I'll be 40+4, do you think I can just have one then and there??

My husband keeps reminding me that I thought I was due the 9th but the scan dated 5th. It's funny how a 'due date' determines our thinking because by that logic if they'd gone with my dates then I'd be 39+6 today...

@agteacht my friend had her sweep with a consultant appointment so maybe! I’d definitely ask!

I’m going to have mine Monday and ask to go for another a few days later if no progress. I really don’t want to be induced.

@bobble53 you're right, I might as well ask. Will definitely book in for a few others anyway!

Anyone I know who has been induced has been fine. I think it's made out to be worse than it is.

No change here ... just slower 😂

Had a long walk and now bouncing on a ball for the evening. Consultant tomorrow morning 👍

I had a really intense pain about an hour ago, was sure it was starting. Literally took my breath away. Put I’ve been for a number two and haven’t had anything since 😂😂😂

I have started to have back pain/pressure since about 6pm not sure if it's Braxton Hicks or early labour

Nothing. Zilch. Nada.

Apart from a rock hard bump. Still quite solid actually. So yeah. Nothing. She doest BV want to come out. Could cry.

@Samantha1712xx thanks! Looks like this is it I can definitely say it's now contractions and not BH. They are about every 10 minutes and getting really quite painful. Trying to get some sleep but finding it hard.

@preggers506974215 yay!!! Hopefully it won’t be long for you! Shame about the lack of sleep and being in pain but try and rest up as much as you can!!

37 weeks, look absolutely huge and have never been so uncomfortable, got the worst back and pelvic pain! She’s also super active and is constantly kicking my ribs which can definitely be uncomfortable 😩 can’t wait until she’s here, starting to try to naturally induce labour but think she’s pretty comfortable in there 😂

So done with being pregnant!

@StephRae your bump looks like mine! I’m 38 weeks and feel so huge! Doesn’t feel like anything is happening! Urgh! How are you trying to induce labour naturally? I need tips!!

@TTc2019babyNo1 no change here! Still niggly pains! Bit of a back ache throughout the night but now nothing again! So frustrating!

Progress ladies...we have a baby!! Contractions suddenly started just after midnight on Sunday morning and she was here by 8am yesterday. Everything went really fast and my contractions started at 3 mins apart. She's a tiny little dot and absolutely perfect!

Hope everyone else is okay. How did the sweep go @bobble53?

I had a bit of a frustrating hospital appt today.
Booked in for a sweep this Wednesday and induction next Monday 16th. Basically the only dates they would give me but I think I'd like to leave the induction a few more days until the 18th or so. Now thinking I should also try to push the sweep back?! Rather than having them so far apart?

Don't know what to do, felt really like no one was giving me any info on options, just pushing me through the system. Might have cried a little bit afterwards and I never cry 😢

Need the baby to decide to come by itself!!
Apparently very very low and fully engaged. Must just be too warm in there!
