What do you honestly think of the name Sebastian?

You see I like it but the problem for us was custardo's post - we are definitely aspiring middle class rather than firm middle class (and northern at that) so I didn't think that my child would be able to carry it off and this was rather confirmed when she turned out to be a girl.

I think it is a lovely name emkana on the right child, and I am sure your DS is that child - my DD was not (obviously).

let the negative comments continue, we don't want Sebastian to become a popular name do we? I like mine being the only one around

Thanks very much for your thoughts on this. Sebastian in first choice for this one but had a few reservations regarding the poncey/posh factor. Now just need to convince DH
