I had an elective caesarean for medical reasons and I sobbed and was inconsolable for hours knowing I'd never feel a contraction. Can't have any more children x

anonnancy · 03/11/2019 11:38

My sister shown me a meme on Facebook of a therapy dog turning up to a library for reading time and no one showed up to read to him....

I bawled like a bloody baby. I don't know why, I just felt sorry for the poor little fella!

Lol.

I walked into Debenhams the other day, and started crying at all the Christmas decorations being out on display “because I just really love Christmas, isn’t everything so lovely and pretty?”

My husband swiftly steered me out of the shop. 😂 after pissing himself laughing at me stroking an ornamental reindeer and crying for a full five minutes.

I’m only 12 weeks so i must have just looked insane.

OlderthenYoungerNow · 04/11/2019 11:42

My favourite song came in the radio 🤷‍♀️

OlderthenYoungerNow · 04/11/2019 11:42

@anonnancy, that's just set me off 😭😭😭

WhenTwoBecomeThree · 04/11/2019 12:08

There were bats outside our house and I started crying because if I was a bat I wouldn't be able to get out of the window to play with my bat friends because I was too fat. Cue even more tears when I realised I'd never be able to transform in to a vampire because I'm so fat at the moment.

Also cried during the early weeks because there was no frozen potato goodness, all I wanted was either frozen chips or waffles. DP offered to go down to the supermarket but I refused and cried even more because it would take so long and I needed them immediately so I went without.

Due in 4 weeks and poor DP probably can't wait!

I trumped really loud .... laughed ... then quickly cried lol

Love this post, made me smile xx

snowybean · 04/11/2019 19:06

I cried last week because I didn't want the chicken thighs that were on my plate 😂 I think I felt guilty as they were so lovingly cooked and I just didn't want them.

whiskersonkittenss · 04/11/2019 19:09

I wanted raspberries, cried, I got raspberries, cried because they were so nice, finished raspberries, cried because I'd ate them all.

The Lloyds advert with the horse Hmm

OccasionalNachos · 04/11/2019 19:11

I was in bits watching an advert for the women’s World Cup back in the summer. All those strong, achieving women...

JuniorMumto1 · 04/11/2019 19:12

My twister ice lolly fell off the stick onto the floor just outside the house. I cried like a toddler and sent my partner back out to get me another one 😂

RolytheRhino · 04/11/2019 19:13

Black Eyed Peas on the radio:

'Where is the love?!?!?'

Franberry · 04/11/2019 19:23

I read in some wholesome pregnancy book that I should be avoiding drinking tea. I sat on the toilet sobbing "but I LOVE tea!" to my partner for about 10 minutes. I do really love tea though.

Blossie0 · 04/11/2019 19:39

I cried because my husband said I couldn't eat my cereal in bed (a rule I made)

APD1981 · 04/11/2019 19:51

I cried the other day because my apple crumble bubbled over in the oven and made a mess everywhere!

yeomichelle21 · 04/11/2019 20:46

Franberry
I too love a cup of tea... but at the moment unable to stomach a cup 😡 been on lemon and hot water x

TheFoz · 05/11/2019 12:55

I laughed so hard at this thread I cried!! Absolutely hilarious! Aren’t hormones just the maddest things ever!

itbemay · 05/11/2019 13:03

i used to love the smell of tarmac being laid when I was pregnant and would sit in the car near the workmen having a good sniff on my lunch break, one day when i went to my usual lunch and sniff spot they had finished the work. I cried!

Littlemissdaredevil · 05/11/2019 17:36

I cried because the red apples in Aldi went not red enough

wineandcheeseplease · 05/11/2019 17:37

I cried because mcdonald's had run out of sweet Chilli sauce and my meal was ruined!

GreigLaidlawsbarofsoap · 05/11/2019 18:08

@anonnancy I haven't been pregnant for over a decade and that set me off too, therapy dogs are amazing. Tho I just bet the library staff gave him lots of attention and cuddles (desperately trying to feel better!)

I love that so many of these revolve around food - dropped, wrong, not available etc. Never get between a pregnant lady and her food!!

I wasn't a crier, definitely more of a rager AngryBlush but I did cry when DH brought the wrong sandwich back from the lovely local deli for me. Then cried again the next day when he brought the right one to make up for it 😂

jessmegan · 08/11/2019 20:03

I cried because I spilt a splash of tea down me

Squiff70 · 08/11/2019 20:19

I cried because one of my rabbits did something really cute Grin

mrsprefect · 08/11/2019 20:20

My husband ate my sandwich. Fucker.
