My husband made me a bacon sandwich but went into autopilot and smothered it in brown sauce, which I hate. I literally sobbed and it took me a few days/ weeks to forgive him!

busymummy19 · 02/11/2019 22:02

I was watching a documentary about police dogs and their handlers.
I started imagining how proud the owners must be of their dogs and the sense of pride I felt made me cry for a good 10 minutes

ChickenNugget86 · 02/11/2019 22:29

Was asked in home and bargains to sign up to Claire House children's charity... Sobbed for no reason.

A donkey reascue advert

My football team won so burst out crying

My hormones are all over the place

Pinkflipflop85 · 02/11/2019 22:32

Just remembered another one.

Asked DH to buy me some 'properchips' from the shops. He came home with 'popchips'.

I was devastated!

Mine are big kids now but when I was pregnant with my first I cried at one of those awful life insurance ads that are on during breakfast tv. When pregnant with my second I cried at the end of the “snail and the whale” when I read it to my first

thatguiltyfeeling · 02/11/2019 22:42

I woke up absolutely sobbing one morning because I'd had a dream where all of my partners family including aunts and uncles went to the cinema to see "Christopher robin 2" (which doesn't even exist) and I got left behind with his grandmother who hates me because I was "too pregnant". My partner couldn't work out what was wrong, I couldn't calm down enough to explain, and every time I tried to explain I'd start crying even more hysterically. That was a bad one.
We also ran out of something I craved and all of the shops bar one which is a 45 minute walk away were shut. I was promised noodles in the morning but that didn't help at 11pm. I managed to calm down and go to bed, then woke up and tried to explain why I'd been so irrational and started crying again. I cried for about 6 hours in total about that!

allabouteve1 · 02/11/2019 22:42

Gravy - it had garlic in it which I didn't know until I poured it all over my lovely roast dinner. I sobbed for a good half hour.

muddypuddled · 02/11/2019 22:45

I cries in Tesco to the shop assistant because they didn't stock shandy bass. He just said 'but we have other shandy?'

caringiscreepy · 02/11/2019 22:52

I spilt some gravy off my plate.

Also dh and I were walking and he was in front of me. I was convinced it was because he thought I was fat and was embarrassed to be seen with me 🤷🏼‍♀️ - weeping

TeethingBabyHelp · 02/11/2019 22:54

My Chinese delivery was late. The estimated time of arrival changed on website and I was so upset I burst into tears and didn't stop until it arrived despite my husband offering me many many snacks

AppleBlossomTimeNow · 02/11/2019 23:01

@Sparklfairy I was inconsolable for a couple of days because couldn't escape the smell of my hair/scalp. So, so weird. Pregnancy is such a joy!

Insomniacscientist · 02/11/2019 23:04

Upset that the guy next to me in the spin class was sweating so much! Was upset that I couldn’t push myself

Saltnpepper5 · 02/11/2019 23:06

I ordered 4 chicken wings and got 5.

TryingAndFailing39 · 02/11/2019 23:15

@JonnyPocketRocket I’m secretly hoping you are talking about my boys as I thought they were too old to go out trick or treating but they convinced me it would be fine as they are polite and weren’t dressed up in scary way!!

Sizeofalentil · 03/11/2019 06:49

I forgot the word for chicks and called them 'bird kittens'.

Sizeofalentil · 03/11/2019 06:58

Another one - I cried for hours because I was so fat that I got stuck in the bath and DH called me Spider-Woman

StarryEyed88 · 03/11/2019 08:13

I cried looking at the Tesco Christmas Food catalogue when my fiancé said “maybe one year we forget all that and have Mexican or something for Christmas”. He was only joking but I accused him of ruining Xmas, poor man.

Dyra · 03/11/2019 08:22

I really wanted Coco Pops for breakfast instead of toast.

Keyboard91 · 03/11/2019 08:39

I went through a phase of craving quaver sandwiches. Was at work and reached in for my quavers to put in my bread and pulled out a potato. Cue inconsolable tears because I didn’t have my quavers and also because I’d abducted a potato from its bag family 🤦‍♀️

Notnowokay · 03/11/2019 09:00

I remembered a sad film I watched a couple of years ago, whilst washing the dishes. I had to stop and compose myself before finishing the dishes.

Casander · 03/11/2019 09:33

We went to my parents for dinner and I cried because DM forgot to buy custard for the cake and I really wanted custard, then everyone laughed at me which made me worse, she managed to placate me with a cornetto and when I licked it the whole ice cream fell off the cone and onto the table which set me off again.

DS likes to remind me of the time I cried over custard.
