Buyitinbamboo · 02/11/2019 15:03

DP didn't buy Ben and Jerry's caramel sutra in the shop. I didn't ask him to, I've never asked for it and haven't had it in about 6 years. But he should have known

strawberrylaces88 · 02/11/2019 15:04

My husband bought penne instead of fusilli pasta for dinner

AlletrixLeStrange · 02/11/2019 15:04

Made DH a cup of tea when he'd asked for a coffee (I thought he'd asked for tea) and he dared point it out to me. Sat on the kitchen floor wailing like a toddler

I was watching a music video - one of those ones when a couple of people are dancing a routine and random passers-by stop and join in until there are loads of people all dancing together. I cried because of the lovely cooperation and togetherness!

We were in IKEA and a sofa looked so comfy I cried and cried because I was so tired and wanted to sleep on it. My DH and the shop assistant ended up dismantling this sofa and putting it in the car. My DH then had to get it up 3 floors and put it in our study. It barely fit in the car. We didn't need a sofa. It's now called our nap chair.

The man emptying the confidential waste bin at work said he wouldn’t empty it as it was too full. I tried to do it but too difficult and awkward. I cried. And then a very senior manager had to go and sort it whilst I continued to sob.

When I had my 4D scan and saw DS sucking on his arm. Cried that he was all by himself looking for comfort and I couldn't comfort him GrinBlush

I cried buckets at nappies in the supermarket. I was feeling very low, had just moved countries at 7 months pregnant with my 2nd DC and didn't know anyone yet. I went shopping and looked at the nappies thinking I would be buying them soon. Then i realised I couldn't understand the labels and broke down in tears in the aisle. 2 year old Ds was very confused!

Driving in car with DD1 listening to ‘there once was an ugly duckling’. Such a sad story!

@meow1989

I cried at your story!! Menopause I think as I'm definitely not pregnant Grin

KenDodd · 02/11/2019 15:42

I cried in Waitrose because they didn't have any asparagus. The assistant then went out the back to look for some because I was crying, they found some but it was really expensive, I felt I had to buy anyway because of the fuss. I then cried in the car home because the asparagus cost to much.

Justasconfusedwithnumber2 · 02/11/2019 15:44

I knew there was beetroot in the fridge...

meow1989 · 02/11/2019 15:45

@fredmerc sorry!Grin

SilentAlarm · 02/11/2019 15:46

I somehow ended up watching a Black Beauty clip on YouTube the other day, started bawling about 20 seconds in and had to turn it off!!

lovebeingmum9 · 02/11/2019 15:48

Ilovelala · 02/11/2019 15:48

It was too sunny and no one could make the sun stop being so sunny (July heatwave this year 40 weeks pregnant)

GoldPaperStars · 02/11/2019 15:52

PixieDustt That just made this 8 months pregnant woman well up!

I also cried last week because I’m so thirsty and all I wanted was a McDonald's coke. DH insisted on driving me there for one (two!) and then I cried because he was being so nice to me.

FrankenCat · 02/11/2019 15:52

They didn't put tomato relish on my chicken and bacon baguette and they didn't have any to put on either as they'd changed the recipe of their baguettes. The world fell apart that day.

7Worfs · 02/11/2019 15:54

I wasn’t weepy at all, bar one incident.

Sainsbury’s didn’t deliver the one bread I could stomach, so we went to the nearby Morrison’s. I kept looking up and down the isle but couldn’t find it.
I started crying that there is no bread for me. In the middle of a giant bread isle.
An employee passed by me and gave me a look. Blush

Thestral · 02/11/2019 15:57

The Lloyds advert where the woman gets off her wheelchair and onto her horse and gallops off through the forest. Ugly, snotty sobs.

Farfromtheusual · 02/11/2019 15:58

My first pregnancy I cried because DH pulled my PJ trousers down whilst I was washing up and I was embarrassed in front of the cat.

This pregnancy nothing so far, I'm only 8+5 so there's plenty of time.

Livpool · 02/11/2019 16:01

A quote from Winnie the Pooh about how he and Piglet would be friends forever. My DH found me sobbing 😂

Farfromtheusual · 02/11/2019 16:01

He was just messing about btw ^ it's something he had done many many times before and I'd always found it funny... realised how odd it sounds without context 🙈
