We watched the new Lion King today, I sobbed the whole way through.. We had 20 week scan, don't want to find out and I think the scan lady said his (I can't even remember if it was his or this) and I cried. Also anything sweet DC1 does right now I'm tearing up.

It's ridiculous.

My partner used all the butter so I had to use the hard block of lurpack we had left to butter my bread for soup, I got so upset it was so hard I left the soup going in the microwave and ran upstairs crying. Bless him, he buttered it and brought it up for me.

ReginaPhalangeee · 02/11/2019 16:07

I cried listening to Father and Son by Boyzone because both my babies are girls and I felt bad that my partner hasn't had a boy Blush

Topseyt · 02/11/2019 16:07

It was a long time ago now as my youngest is 17.

When I was expecting her DH for some reason took it into his head to paint the garden shed pink! I sobbed at that. To make matters worse, the cat had brushed against the wet paint and was pink all down one side so I sobbed at him too!

DH later repainted the offending shed blue. For some reason I liked that and didn't sob any more. The cat had avoided it too this time.

I cried because I thought OH was driving too fast on the motorway and started to freak out a bit
To be honest I get more rages than anything!

leomama81 · 02/11/2019 16:09

I went on Amazon to buy the book "I'll Love You Forever" which Joey reads at Emma's first birthday in Friends. I only read a page online and I was in floods for about 20 minutes. I've bought it for baby's (due in 3 weeks) first Xmas - I am never going to get through that book dry-eyed!

“The dance” by Garth brooks came on the radio years ago. I was pregnant, happily driving to work.
Not a Garth fan at all. I started balling hysterically. I’m blushing just thinking about it.

Because I burnt some food

Welltroddenpath · 02/11/2019 16:16

A stray piece of pepperoni in my omelette on holiday in Turkey. I was unhinged and frankly always a bit loopy / irrational when pregnant

Absoluteunit · 02/11/2019 16:36

I think I've posted this before. I had GD and before I was put on insulin I was trying to control it with diet and I was absolutely starving. I'd been desperate for a ham sandwich all day but when I went to make it the ham was out of date.

I had a proper hissy fit and slid down the wall in tears like people do in soaps when someone has died Blush

OH kindly popped to the shops and got me some more Grin

AppleBlossomTimeNow · 02/11/2019 16:39

I cried because I didn't like the smell of my own head.

Joerev · 02/11/2019 16:41

I was craving orange ice lollies. I cried when they started to melt because my husband hadn’t put them in the freezer 😂

jacquesjacques · 02/11/2019 16:47

I cried at the bit at the start of the Eminem song where he says "where's my snare? I've got no snare in my headphones"...

I don't know either. Hmm

Robs20 · 02/11/2019 16:51

I couldn’t decide which microwave to buy. Of course I cried.

orangejuicer · 02/11/2019 17:12

Lol Apple.

I was prepping an avocado and dropped the stone.

Sparklfairy · 02/11/2019 17:31

This is the best one Grin

Froggledoggleoggle · 02/11/2019 17:35

I couldn't get my dps charger to plug into my phone... The connection was all wrong and I knew that, but wanted it to fit 😳

annienone · 02/11/2019 17:39

DP said "that's a miserable face if ever I've seen one"

Normally wouldn't give it a second thought, I sobbed for half an hour.

Schindy · 02/11/2019 17:40

I cried because I didn't have any spare clean knickers when admitted to hospital! My washing machine had broken and was going to be delivered that day. It seemed like the end of the world at the time!

MuchTooTired · 02/11/2019 17:45

During early pregnancy I could only eat special fried rice and crispy seaweed from one Chinese takeaway over half an hour’s drive away. Got home to discover they’d forgotten to put it in the bag, and cried for at least an hour about how unfair and awful life was.

MuchTooTired · 02/11/2019 17:48

They’d forgotten to put the crispy seaweed in the bag that should say, not my entire meal!

HufflepuffBean · 02/11/2019 17:56

I cried hysterically in Tesco because they didn't have lemon meringue pie. It was December, I was 35 weeks pregnant and all the sodding Christmas desserts meant nowhere had lemon meringue pie. The huge Tesco was my last desperate attempt to find one and where it used to be was yet another flipping Yule log. I lost it and on-the-floor, panic-breathing sobbed. A woman had to give me a tissue.

8by8 · 02/11/2019 18:05

I saw a turtle on TV and it looked like it was sad.

DH brought me a red apple instead of a green one (I had not specified I wanted green, and I normally prefer red).

I couldn’t bend enough to do up my shoes and DH was out and I was late for work but couldn’t get my shoes on.

Fun times.

saywhatwhatnow · 02/11/2019 18:13

I cried because DH said he didn't want to have a Chinese takeaway. To be fair he had just been out to buy the ingredients for a meal I'd suggested, but still, I sobbed in the shower and came down all puffy eyed. He obviously felt guilty and said if I really wanted one he would go and get one, then I cried again, poor man didn't know what to do.

firsttimeivfmum · 02/11/2019 18:16

@HopefulHun the South African team Haka at the start of the rugby match against Wales yesterday!
