TMI but I had some brown discharge earlier and that had cheered me up a bit-can’t believe the things that make me happy these days 😂 I know I could still be well off labour but at least it’s a little sign that I’m getting there!

I'm in a similar position, 40+8 today (by scan/official due date which I've always been a bit suspicious of as my dates would put me at 40+2). Attempted sweep on Monday but cervix still posterior and not dilated enough for them to do the sweep. Have another one booked for Saturday.

Scottish I know how you feel, starting to really feel like it will never happen. Sick of people asking if I've had any signs/twinges, just want to hibernate and not speak to anyone!

Induction is booked for weds when I will be 42 weeks by their dates but just hoping something happens before then.

40+8 too here, c section booked for 42 weeks as my body didn't react well to induction last time, hoping it doesn't come to that. 3rd sweep yesterday, cervix posterior, medium firm, 2cm thick and 1cm dilated. Brown mucus today but had mucus for the last two weeks, wi5 it being bloody streaked after sweeps and turning brown the following day so not feeling like it means much anymore. 4th sweep tomorrow

Such a comfort to here there are other women in the same situation @fireworkbaby and @imiss! Hang on in there ladies! I was going to say ‘won’t be long!’ But it is driving me mad when people say that as I know that it won’t be long but want to know when!!!!

40+4 here and I feel like this baby will never come! Its reassuring to see so many of you on here have gone overdue and had successfully births - congrats to everyone who has had their bubbas! All of my friends have been early so I'm starting to feel like the odd one out. I'm into my 5th week of maternity and I'm going out of my mind! Due to have a second sweep on Monday.

@Scottish1 thank to! Good luck, hopefully your with baby now and it's all happened but yes agree it's nice to not feel like the last one standing! With the csection booked it's given me some peace of mind as at least there is an end in sight, regardless of how I get there, I will no longer be pregnant in a weeks time!

Baby boy born last night! After all the waiting it was pretty quick! Hope everyone else doing well x

My little girl was born on the 8th too. We are smitten! Long difficult labour unfortunately so recovering now x

Congratulations everyone! Little one is already a week old here and all the frustrations of being overdue and the drama of labour are already a distant memory! Hope you are all healing ok and loving the newborn snuggles!

@imiss hope the sweep did the job- I went from a similar amount of dilation to delivery in 24 hrs so hopefully things will get moving for you before your c section date (and not long to wait for that too!).
