Just what it says really - anyone else near the end and would like some company? I'm driving myself crazy over here by myself!

@shewoman sounds like its heading the right way!

39+5 today and DS is back to school tomorrow. Not really any signs yet except apparently bump has dropped a bit now and also a bit more discharge but no plug or anything. Feeling nice and relaxed actually, after baby didn't arrive this weekend I'm feeling like it'll happen when it happens....how I feel tomorrow is anyone's guess!

So we had a due date baby born yesterday afternoon after a pretty intense but luckily quick labour. Like Kate no signs of anything happening til the first contraction woke me from a nap and then they were strong and regular from the off.
Good luck to you all and lots of positive birth vibes!

Aurora79 · 29/10/2019 07:10

@givememarmite congratulations! Hope you’re recovering well and flagging gmlots of lovely cuddles!

Thought something might be happening last night as things felt a bit ‘different’ down there, but no action overnight. Will try another walk this morning, otherwise hopefully the sweep tomorrow will get things going!

Aurora79 · 29/10/2019 07:10

Obviously that was meant to say having lots!

Shewoman · 29/10/2019 07:34

@givememarmite congratulations!

Nothing has happened still for me, have felt somewhat more uncomfortable since the sweep yesterday but that's all. So frustrating!

greeneyedlulu · 29/10/2019 12:27

Aurora I'm living in leggings and the same 5 tops on rotation Grin so know your pain.
No baby yet so I'll be off for my induction tomorrow and have to admit I'm beginning to feel nervous with all the 'things that can go wrong' running through my mind!! I know it's silly but natural I'm sure so I've turned the radio up and getting on with cleaning the house so I come home to a nice clean house.

amehh · 29/10/2019 12:47

Congratulations @givememarmite!
39+6 today and no signs apart from even more discharge so who knows, maybe it is actually my plug coming away slowly? Been out getting nice cake for bake off tonight and going to walk to get DS from school which is a couple of miles so fingers crossed things might start moving. DH is convinced we will be on the due date so tomorrow but I'm not so sure. I've managed to carve my pumpkins ready got halloween so I'm happy now at least haha

@greeneyedlulu glad it’s not just me then. My maternity jeans are trashed and I’m living in stretchy clothes!

I’m feeling really off today so hoping that’s a sign of something happening. Just feeling exhausted and overwhelmed with juggling childcare, being overdue and people constantly texting. Thankfully OH is off this afternoon so I’ll get a bit of a rest!

greeneyedlulu · 29/10/2019 13:22

Congrats marmite x

Aurora79 · 30/10/2019 08:04

40+3 here today. Woke up at 1.30 with mild cramping that has been on and off since. Haven’t a clue if it’s early labour, class labour or just my body doing something weird. I’m seeing my midwife later for a sweep so hopefully she’ll be able to advise on what is going on. Don’t want to get my hopes up but really want this baby here now!!!

Aurora79 · 30/10/2019 08:04

*false labour.

greeneyedlulu · 30/10/2019 08:25

Good luck aurora. I'm off to hospital at 4.30pm for my induction today and if one more person including my partner, parents or DS asks me one more time how long I'm going to be in hospital for I think I will swing for them! AS IF I KNOW!!!!! can you tell that's driving me mad! I am feeling really nervous about it and the constant stream of questions that I don't have the answers to is not helping.

Shewoman · 30/10/2019 10:46

Good luck @Aurora79 and @greeneyedlulu. I've also felt kind of period pain type cramps during the night and this morning, 41+1 weeks now so really feels like it should be imminent. Got some Clary sage oil yesterday and been rubbing that on my belly and going to get dh to try some acupressure and reflexology that a physio friend recommended so hoping things will get going. Had a bit of bloody type discharge in the night so could be another sign...here's hoping!

Zarara · 30/10/2019 11:12

Hi all, can I join please. I’m 39weeks today with baby no2 and I can’t wait for baby to arrive now. Baby has been breech but turned on Monday so hoping it stays that way. I have a lot of fluid so there is lots of room for baby to move around so I’ve been told to go straight to mau if my waters break or contractions start. I’m really struggling to sleep at night so feel tired all the time. Will up the raspberry leaf tea I think now.

Good luck to those in hospital!

MrBobLobLaw · 30/10/2019 11:25

Hello also joining in the fun here!

39+2 here and holding baby in with all my might. We're currently in the incredibly stressful process of buying a flat and being dicked around by solicitors. We were supposed to complete and move tomorrow but now not moving until this time next week.. when I'll be 2 days overdue! Angry

I went 9 days overdue with DS so really hoping for another baby that wants to cook for a while ha.

Will catch up on everyone else's progress now.

MrBobLobLaw · 30/10/2019 11:28

Good luck today @greeneyedlulu and @Aurora79!
Any update from either of you?

Aurora79 · 30/10/2019 11:49

@MrBobLobLaw no update I’m afraid- saw the midwife this morning and she couldn’t even do the sweep because my cervix was closed so looks like we’re in for a bit more of a wait. Little missy is obviously far too comfy in there! Sweep take 2 is booked for Friday.

@greeneyedlulu good luck this afternoon! All the questions are so frustrating- I nearly lost it with my MIL yesterday coz she kept asking when we needed her to come help! I know she means well (and feel so ungrateful for getting annoyed) but we don’t need help until the baby is here and heaven knows when that will be!

amehh · 30/10/2019 13:17

Hi everyone! Ah such a shame @Aurora79, hopefully you'll be more successful on Friday, if you haven't gone before!

Good luck @greeneyedlulu!

I had a really odd night, felt fine until I went to bed and then was really restless and became convinced I would have a bad tummy about 1am but nothing happened. Had a crampy back on and off but nothing now this morning. Officially due today and getting waves of feeling impatient and feeling relaxed. Going to walk to get DS from school again and planning to go to aquanatal tonight to hopefully exercise the baby out!

Hello to everyone who is waiting for their bubbas! This definitely is the slowest part of pregnancy Grin

I am awake since 2.30am and dd had diarrhoea during the night, seems fine today but have been feeling a bit dodge myself. I am so exhausted but have so much to do before tomorrow afternoon when I have to go to the hospital for the pre checks ahead of Friday.

greeneyedlulu · 30/10/2019 14:37

Thanks ladies! No update yet as I'm still at home about to have a shower to go in later.

DBP1234 · 30/10/2019 15:01

Hi! Also joining in the waiting game.
40 weeks today with my second. My first came at 39.3 so I was convinced this one would be the same.... it’s been a very frustrating and long week.

thumper59 · 30/10/2019 17:49

Hi all. I'm 39+2 today. First baby! Although I'm convinced he'll be late as he's shown absolutely no sign of coming any time soon. Today I have lots more pressure in my pelvis and a few slight period cramp feelings, but they've gone off again now x

imiss · 30/10/2019 19:23

Had a sweep today, midwife said she could fit a finger in and cervix was soft so hopefully something happens soon. Baby has turned back to back annoyingly so hoping he moves back! Good luck everyone else waiting too.

amehh · 30/10/2019 21:10

That's good news @imiss, although not about being back to back. Keeping my fingers crossed for you!

I've felt a bit off all day but still went to aquanatal - the instructor has recommended "a couple of good orgasms tonight" haha! Umm, not sure I can muster the energy to be honest!

Bump got even lower this evening so waiting to see what tonight brings (hopefully either a good sleep or a baby!)

Good morning everyone and fingers crossed for some babies today :)

40+1 and my waters are going, off to hospital in a minute after the school run as they want to check the colour as it's a bit yellow but I also had my bloody show about 20 minutes before they broke so not sure if that is affecting it. Getting contractions too, some in my back and some round the front so just hoping they won't send me home and I can just crack on with it!
