Hello all, after 9 years of unexplained infertility with 1 failed round of IVF in April I am finally pregnant!

Currently in my 7th week (6 weeks 3 days) and due 1st June 2020!

I need some advice because my anxiety about being pregnant is really affecting me and that something might me wrong.

There are times I feel pain that comes and goes in my lower abdomen. Sometimes on the left and other times on the right but mostly on the left. The pain is not by the hips its lower down to the left of the pubic hair line so still quite central but to the left and right of it.

My GP appointment isn't until Tues where I guess they will refer me to a midwife at the hospital.

Should I go for an early scan?

The only people who know I'm pregnant apart from DH are those on the Conception thread and I think the burden of this is overwhelming and doesn't feel like its quite sunk in yet!

Lu x

Hi all, can I join this group? I'm due 20th June and this will be my first! Currently dealing with walking up throughout the night after crashing and falling asleep at 8 everyday!! Also v sore boobs and a lot of queasiness (no sickness yet)! It'll be nice to chat to other first timers!!

@BabyBird20 same for me! Due June 9th, very sore boobs atm, and nauseous but never actually barfing lol sorry for my Americanisms, I do live in the Uk now. Also I get heavy feelings in lower abdomen and slight cramping. But no bleeding

How's everyone getting on? Excited to announce soon? I am hoping to announce beginning of December, god willing !

BabyBird20 · 04/11/2019 11:22

@Rinoa I've been so rubbish at keeping it secret! Told my family already and a few of my best friends! Just feels so weird keeping it secret when I'm out for lunch with someone and can't even drink tea (which would instantly make my friends suspicious as I am a huge tea drinker!!). I'm 8 weeks today so just 4 to go til that long awaited scan!!! Not sure how I'm going to make it at work, I just want to curl up and sleep most of the time!!

Yea tbf my parents and close friends know too. Lol we're only waiting to tell everyone else. I've been taking vitamin b12 for fatigue and seems to help!
