@Keyboard91 sorry to hear your feeling so rubbish.
I am 9+1 and symptoms feel much stronger now than they did 4-8.
I’m extremely nauseous and exhausted, hormones are crazy, cried like a baby all the way through the new lion king

SLT90 · 20/08/2019 11:28

Really sorry to hear you are suffering @Keyboard91 😣😣
I can't really offer any advice as we are all different, but just look after yourself and try to keep up the eating. I think if I went to bed at 7.30pm and didn't eat after that I would have a bad day the next day (had an early dinner last week and it completely wrecked the following day). You may need another later snack in the evening?

I found my sickness improved loads at 9 weeks exactly. Have only had one bad day since. Not sure if that's because it has passed or if it's because I'm now in a new routine of eating and avoiding certain foods 🤷‍♀️

SLT90 · 20/08/2019 11:30

DH sent me this meme yesterday which I feel sums it all up 😂😂

MunchyMunchkin · 20/08/2019 11:45

Nhs scan today and got put forward another day so am 12 weeks today EDD now 3/3/20. Still waiting on the results of the NIPT before we go public. @barnyb we aren’t EDD buddies anymore! Maybe you will catch up at yours.

@Keyboard91its all awful but starts to improve 12-14 weeks when the placenta kicks in.

Ah lovely scan photos ladies, its making me very excited for Friday now. Just hope mine is as clear as the two that have been posted today.

MunchyMunchkin · 20/08/2019 11:53

@ninjamomma they try and get a good view for you. The first few images of mine the baby was upside down and looking quite bizarre!

DaniX91 · 20/08/2019 12:44

Aww it's lovely to see these scan pictures!
Sorry to everyone who is feeling rubbish, you're probably guna be annoyed at me for this but..
I'm 10 weeks today and since yesterday my symptoms have felt like they're disappearing. My nausea is nowhere near as bad and my boobs aren't as sore, I keep prodding and squeezing them but it doesn't hurt as much. I know I should be grateful to be feeling pretty normal but I'm so worried that something has gone wrong☹️. I had a scan on Friday night at 9+3 and everything was fine but I can't help but worry. Has anyone got any advice?

Brandygirl27 · 20/08/2019 12:59

Thankyou ladies 😍 @barnyb to be honest my bladder wasn’t very full but I’m 13 weeks tomorrow 😍😍😍xx

ELW85 · 20/08/2019 13:01

@DaniX91 - I worry all the time when my symptoms fluctuate!
Last week, before my scan, my nausea really dropped off and I feared for the worst, but 2 days later it hit me like a truck again. I think it’s just the nature of it.

If it makes you feel better, once you’ve seen a heartbeat from 8 weeks, chances of anything ending are

ineedanotherholiday · 20/08/2019 15:07

What lovely scan pictures!

Sorry for tmi but is anyone getting really bad constipation? Been having it last few days! Went to pharmacy who prescribed lactoluse, fine to take in pregnancy but nhs website says try to avoid all medicines if you can. Just hard trying to sort naturally when you can barely stomach anything to help along Blush

Yvonne1988 · 20/08/2019 15:34

@ineedanotherholiday I had it so bad for 3 days where I was in absolute agony. I bought some dulcosoft and only took it the one time and have been fine ever since. I would normally stay away from medicine but it said it was safe to take

MockingJay27 · 20/08/2019 15:52

@DaniX91 my boobs aren't quite as sore as they were but then I don't know if I'm just getting used to the soreness.
How was your scan at 9+1. Do you have a picture ?
I have one tonight at 9+1/2 and wondering if I'll see anything

ineedanotherholiday · 20/08/2019 16:04

@Yvonne1988 I nearly got that and then asked the pharmacist as last time it was worse than this I was prescribed the sachets but can't use them in pregnancy so they recommended the lactusol.

Ooh please share scan photos/ let us know what you see. I gave one next Friday at 9+3 and would like to know if you can see anything also.

Yvonne1988 · 20/08/2019 16:04

@mockingjay27 mine aren't as sore as they have been. I'm about 9+3 so I think maybe easing off.

SLT90 · 20/08/2019 16:11

What is everyone doing for maternity bras? Do you just size up in/get remeasured for a normal style bra? I don't feel I want to get nursing ones yet as won't need that function for a good while yet!
I really need to sort the bra situation asap as although not uncomfy, my normal size is now way too small and it looks bad under clothes.

Ninjamomma · 20/08/2019 16:23

@DaniX91 I had exactly the same happen to me - so much so that I went for a scan at 10+5 as I was sure something was wrong but baby was absolutely fine. Seems to be fairly normal and in fairness my nausea came back a few days later.

@ineedanotherholiday I've been using Lactoluse as its also what my pharmacist suggested. I only take it when necessary but it gets things moving pretty quickly.

@SLT90 I can't help with a maternity bra suggestion but i'm looking forward to other responses too. Mine are now incredibly uncomfortable

Yvonne1988 · 20/08/2019 16:31

@slt90 I didn't get a maternity bra but I couldn't fit into my normal bra after a few week so I got some from Asda . No underwire but padded like a sports bra. Heaven.

Yvonne1988 · 20/08/2019 16:35

Keep walking past the mirror. I'm only 9 weeks. My t shirts are starting to not hide it. It's just fat but it's all collected there. I measured myself the other day and I haven't put any inches on

Place marking here whilst I catch up with all the goings on on this threadThanksThanksThanks

blondie87 · 20/08/2019 16:52

@SLT90 I’ve just been to Bravissimo for a fitting for a non wired bra and they were great.

Scan was brilliant. They’ve brought my due date forward to 02/03 but my first two were early so I reckon I’ll have a little February baby 😍

Jesskir89 · 20/08/2019 17:03

Awww congrats everyone with the scan pics they're lovely :) @Yvonne1988 I was putting oil on last night (stretch Mark prevention) and dh told me my belly looks really fat! We got away next week and it's made me so conscious. He didn't mean it nasty he just said you can't quite tell I'm pregnant so I look like I've put loads of weight on! I've only put 2.5lb on since finding out though and that's following a holiday

Yvonne1988 · 20/08/2019 17:06

@jesskir89 I refuse to weigh myself. I don't want to know til afterwards so I know how much to lose.
My DH went to work on Saturday and I won't see him for nearly 2 weeks so I'm sure I'll look bigger by then

Jesskir89 · 20/08/2019 17:19

@yvonne1988 I can't not because I do struggle with my weight so I need to watch how much I put on. You don't need to worry you're much smaller than me

SLT90 · 20/08/2019 17:20

Thanks for the ideas so far. Maybe no underwire is the way to go then. The underwire doesn't hurt me at the moment but when I take my bra off it is hellish for a minute or two 😂😂

avocadoincident · 20/08/2019 18:17

@Brandygirl27 that scan picture is incredible. Your baby is sooo long and beautiful
